This reading pleases me greatly.  I am working my ass off, if you see me disappear from here, it means I am working job 1 (6/wk) or mowing my yard or something of that nature is keeping me from here – because I love being here, exploring energies.  As a side note, Saturn direct sends it back over my Scorpio Neptuner in 11, my ankle pain is worsening again, if my work here decreases a bit, that would be why.

Mercury into Leo, Frank Herbert, et. al. (You know who you are.) up asap.

Feeling quite a bit of pain today from a ton of yard work yesterday.  Understandable since Mars aggravates, rules sharp pains and is opposite Uranus which rules pain spasms.

I drew a quick card for current aspects, got bone collector.  Apt as Capricorn rules bones & Pluto is doing the metamorphose mambo in that house – and under a difficult T-Square with two very powerful planets.

My pain is located in my left knee (past/Capricorn) and right ankle
(future/Uranus).  Obviously, I am having trouble finding balance between the two.  Working on it…

On to The Bone Collector…
She is a great image, yes ?  Friendly and radiant in the desert of aged Capricorn – a wise sage who is both learned, quick & perceptive.
This card reminds us to break away from past conditioning, former wounds (Chiron Rx soon) and unlearn bad habits.

The observant few will note this lecture is 6+hours. 
haaa No, I do not think anyone but the McKenna freaks will give it a go, but it IS loaded with mind expansion ideas.  I fall asleep listening to lectures all the time, packed 9th house, Mars in Sag at the backdoor.  Facts seep in while I sleep.

I think of Uranus square Pluto as the Shaman square Wizard transit.
We are working out our personal power expressions, honing our skills, sharpening our blades, streamlining our moves.

Terence is a 12th house Scorpio Sun Venus Jupes, I dig him.  He barely takes a breath in this, dude has plenty to say about journeying.

A bit from Ralph Metzner who is speaking at the intro.  I paraphrase here, but it’s the first 4 minutes or so…

He disagrees with Jung who said alchemists project their unconscious into matter.  Metzner says ancestral mythologies are consciously projected, what we have been taught is already surface material.  Our projections are a combination of both conscious and unconscious.

What he says after I find fascinating because it speaks to the psychic boundaries needed when you are a sensitive, psychic, empath.
Whatever you call it, you are tuning IN.

Think water houses Cancer/Moon, Scorpio/Pluto and Pisces/Neptune.

Projection and perception are the two poles or processes of intention.
We need to cultivate reception or more specifically apperception – or the ability to assimilate what is incoming via Fully Conscious Perception. (Uranus)

Discernment between what is coming from within and what is coming from without (Saturn is the closed door) keeps the psychic healthy, our intentions & manifestations impeccable.

So…is it just me…or is life itself a tad bit incongruous of late ?
haaa eclipse mambo WoOoHOOo

I used to do framing here and there, once worked in a refurbished gristmill selling wildlife art.  So very Saturnian, yes ?
Some folks love Kinkade, ‘painter of light’, bow-legged Amish stick figures, Caucasian looking American Indians – and I’m not one of them.

As you can imagine, I was happy to move on from that gig, I’m not such a good art liar with 8th house Leo Venus/Jupes in square to Neptuner.  I would regularly get tossed questions on the value of wildlife prints and duck decoys which were so not my forte. 

Hanging in my house was the wire helmet of an art school poet, Doug, who had worn it during a legendary performance art piece when he drank his own piss.  The helmet was then handed off to a friend who created a paper sculpture with dripping flesh hanging from it in protest to a large chemical company moving into town.

So yeah, incongruous.
Part & parcel for Virgo Sun conjunct Uranus Pluto.
You get used to it.  When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro.

Obv, my Saturn in Aries loves it for the bones & stones quality, my Sag Mars by the backdoor loves the dreamstates. It is also a nod to the slow death of big corp culture.

Cardinal square days of late are filled with tension between self and others, home and business – and the whole shebang is causing internal tensions around the wheel.

Saturn is holding down the fort of opportunities via work.  Work on your self, your business, your relationships, your headspace.

I am familiar with this grand cross energy, my former husband and I had this in our composite – though ours was mutable and offset by a harmonious mystic rectangle.
Reading the grand cross is an aspect of great strength if the energy is used correctly was a case of hindsight being 20/20 in our case – but it is true.

Soulcards 2, Tarot of the Origins

Quickie read, intent: New Moon Prep for all.

First card you interpret, though I will pitch in that New Moons are always conjunct Sun.
Introverted, passive, reactive yin Moon meets expressive, outgoing yang Sun; traditionally seen as feminine and masculine, respectively.

Second card is Sacrifice.  A rite of passage which frees spirit from the material prison of the body in order to attain divine insight – a vision quest.

The sacrifice card made me think of the Lakota Sun Dance (traditionally held in the summer on a full moon).  It is a rite symbolizing life and rebirth (Pluto, New Moon is conjunct) held around the sacred cottonwood tree (found inside the cross-section is a perfect five pointed star which represents the Great Spirit).   The (skin) piercing that takes place is the most sacred part of the sundance ceremony. It represents individual sacrifice for the good of the tribe, honoring Mother Earth and women who give life through childbirth.  source

Earlier this morning a 3 card draw of my own so perfectly spoke to my need for an abundance of angles rather than a cacophony of curves.
