building brainpan bridges

A journey across the stars and heavens through antiquated astronomical diagrams.

I unearthed some dusty old scientific textbooks in my father’s attic, and immediately became inspired by the delicately rendered diagrams, plots and schemata. These purely scientific visual aids became unwitting artworks on their own, which is something I really loved.

The short animation explores pathways through astronomy’s roots, dating back to antiquity with its origins in scientific, mythological and astrological practices.  kimoni

Eclipses.
RESPECT !

Eclipses interp here – Power Steering.

Like many, I am having one hell of an eclipse ride, and yes, I have a few choice words to add to the celestial gumbo.  Moon IS in Virgo, after all.
I am finding my voice, becoming stronger.

Astrology is the best tool for understanding wtf is going on with me & you & everybody else.  Above and beyond the clarity it delivers as an intricate personal life map, astrology delivers amazingly profound insights into how & why people approach life differently.  Any expectation of similar reactions between any two people becomes decisively idiotic when one is intimately familiar with the myriad of astrological variables.

Trust – Virgos LOVE being intimately familiar with a myriad of variables.

Asteroid Logos 58534 – Logical, rational, reasoned discourse.  Data, variables, weaving sacred patterns, shamanic distillation, extraction or assemblage.
currently Logos Rx at 28 Virgo (at the nodal degree)

I had yet another eclipse deal breaker moment earlier this evening.
I think outside the box, do my own thing, which is not often appreciated, or accepted.

Pfft. Fuckit.  I’m done.  It has been a loOong time coming.
FiveFiveFive on the clock when I left work + a nanosecond after my circuit breaker finally blew, Ganesha popped off the wall.  BOOM

That brings me to something else, my writing.  The circuit breaker I am referring to above is my brain – I know my writing sometimes throws a tangential curve Phrases drop into my brainpan via Saturn Aries 3 trine Sag Mars quintile Uranus 9 + Merc MC quintlie ASC.  Many times I have heard that I have said the exact word/phrase called for in a reading that confirms, clarifies, is the catalyst for change.

These phrases from the multiverses are triggers meant to shift your perspective.

I don’t and won’t write ponderous prose pieces with corners tucked so tight you can bounce a quarter to the ceiling.  I don’t slip chocolates under your word pillow or give you the tit.  My writing style is Aesop’s, Cliff’s Notes, Dynamic Ditty.
Countless times what I write is correct at the backdoor, only to disappear/change via strange computer blips upon public post. (Sun/Ura/Plu 9)
I don’t like it, but I live with it, I am the unapologetic Queen of Edit.

Next full disclosure – I cover addiction astrology here at GMA for a reason – I am one.
Classic Venus square Neptuner issue + when you toss in biggie-size Jupiter…well it ain’t pretty.  Several months ago, someone said something that pissed me off, triggered something else that pissed me off and next thing I know, deamon brew has me by the throat again.  I was doing all I could to fix the sitch privately without a win.  It sucked.
Then my catalyst walked in, recalibrated my headspace – cold turkey, just like always.  Eight weeks out today.

Speaking of deamons and Archangels, I have no qualms about using both decks side by side.  Why ?  I know my shadow side I don’t live there – but I know it.  Those who refuse to look are (as my old therapist used to say) frosting the turd.
I have far too much Scorpio for that. + I am a multi-Virgo intimately familiar with a myriad of variables.

Love and light decks lean too far to the saccharine, equate the devil to a bad day, 10 of swords to oops ! the unicorn fainted – while some deamon decks are too far entrenched in the negative abyss, the devil becomes spirit possession in need of exorcism, 10 of swords becomes serial killer rampage.

My intent as Divenusian is to uncover the truth – plain and simple.
I use each deck as a foil to the other.

Earthkindness

::::::::::::::
Honestly, shit like this blows. my. mind.
How this cruelty is found acceptable on any level is beyond me.
Finding this sicko trend stylish is far more than my Virgo brain can fathom.
PETA
Petition

Capricorn (restriction) Sun (oxygen) while Moon in Virgo opposes Neptune (spiritual intelligence) and Chiron (deep wound) in Pisces.  Signaling a rant re: small animals (Virgo) and my feelings (Moon) about their cruel treatment in the name of some dumbass fashion (Venus Rx) trend.

Cardinal square above us prompts action via others and a driving need to change, force growth in yourself.
Aries & Libra axis : self vs. relationships
Cancer & Capricorn : nurturing vs. using

Internal tension rests upon philosophies of nurturing, actions powered up to find balance (with a heavy dose of pass-agg possible) via complete transformation of old structures into new ways of thinking, adapting, SEEing.

Hey, I am on my Sag soapbox, as usual, I know – I don’t think any of you, my readers abuse animals.   I am simply freaked out and asking you to share so we can stop this cruelty.  I am keenly aware that animals have intelligence, feelings, and are deserving of kindness and respect – as well as the right to live.  Red List
Hands up – ! – who loves Sonya the Pet Psychic from Animal Planet ?  I would get up early to watch it before work.  Trust me, this is unheard of – I am not a morning girl.

I have hundreds of stories, but will give you only two.
1 My late gecko, Buzz was used to getting large crickets.  One day the cricket truck didn’t arrive, I had to get smaller crickets to tide him over a bit.  When I tossed them in, he peered down at them . . . slowly turned his head to look me right in the eyes –  wtf  ?! these are no see-ums – ya gotta be kidding me !  When Buzz was dying, my girl cat sat in vigil with him all day – in a spot she hadn’t rested before, or ever after that day.
2 The first time my new cat walked past a door with skins hanging from it, he looked up, saw them and froze – paw dangling in midair – gobsmacked with apprehension. Oh shit, I’m in for it.  I grabbed him and explained they were given, I did not kill them, he was safe.  All was then well, he understood me.
I have hundreds of stories similar to these.

The way out from these tense oppositions and squares is in Virgo Moon moving to trine Pluto in Capricorn (sharing feelings about what the world really needs to change) as well as Jupiter Rx in Cancer trine Saturn in Scorpio (philosophy of ethical power over and with and towards all earthkind.)

These aspects in tandem means we WORK to MAKE it HAPPEN.

practical pitch

Moon in Virgo

Energy clearing is the magickal logic behind Virgo’s daily house-witchery of organization and cleanliness.  Driven by a need to analyze and perfect, Virgo focuses on improving the daily routines of universlings via health, work and service.

Virgo rules civil servants, pets and herbalists, domestication of animals for help with field work.  Interesting to note gardening is ruled by (Moon house Cancer) 4th – but the gathering of advice, tips, phases of the moon best for planting, weather lore for use by all via an almanac – very practical 6th house Virgo.

Virgo is the most likely sign of the zodiac to check in on you, lend a hand, be helpful and actually enjoy sweating the small stuff.  Multi-tasking minute details are their forte, they are able to compartmentalize and achieve many goals at once.

They tend to be perfectionists with infinite reserves of remaining calm cool and collected, though it would be wise to note, if transgressed, they will not hold their tongue.  The discerning eyes / ears of Virgo are attentive to what you do not say as well as what you do.

Virgo Moon filters everything emotional through the lens of logic and practicality.  Reserved and overly critical – feelings are subject to intense scrutiny rather than allowed to flow unimpeded by thoughts of right or wrong.

Emotional waters of Virgo Moon are subject to churning over the gristmill of intellectual purification again and again.  Routine chores give their hands something to do while their brains wander.  Their strong work ethic is rooted in peace of mind through keeping busy.  Mercury rules Virgo, it needs to keep juggling; Moon rules fluctuation and change, both of which endow Virgo Moons with lively minds and vivid imaginations.

Plant your thought seeds early with this one, let them sit with an idea, tend it, water it  – if it grows with the moon, you’re IN.  They change their minds frequently as new emo information crops up, be aware of this and prepare a new practical pitch from a fresh perspective, rinse, repeat.

nitty gritty trench wench

Tonight’s lovely MoOon rising at the end of my street, as I turned home.

Virgo Moon peeps are diligent hard-working folks.  Due to the influence of Mercury, they have a tendency to be high-strung; sorting, planning, organizing, cleaning and busy work tends to calm them.  They are led by a strong desire to serve others, they feel a responsibility towards health and welfare of others.  If you are sick and Virgo  hasn’t heard from you in a timely manner, they will be calling to check on you – ready to fetch groceries, meds, make soup, you name it.

They are practical, down to earth and ready to lend a hand if needed.  In fact, Virgo moon people need to feel needed, which is a direct result of being service driven.  (Virgo rules civil servants, nurses, nuns.)  They are excellent at anticipating the needs of others – Mercury sees the info exuded, sorts the facts, gets right to the nitty gritty working for the desired outcome.

They are quick-thinkers that want progress on the material plane, they are reality-driven, more so than emotionally driven – Moon in Virgo means feelings are analyzed – improved, then released.  They want to be appreciated for their mental faculties far over and above looks and status.

Worry, nitpicking, lack of self-confidence, not to mention a changeability that is part and parcel of Mercurial thinking can be downfalls for Virgo Moons.  They need to beware of overly critical thinking, over thinking – period.  If Virgo Moon can let go of eternal vigilance on details, relax and go with the flow. . . .seeing the big picture can be quite liberating.

Virgo Moons practice practical magick through housewitchery – cleaning the corners, fluffing the linens, organizing and scrubbing the environs – ending with a dash of wildflowers on the table afterwards.  Quietly ambitious, they accomplish much without fanfare – they work well with others or alone (mutable).  They are health conscious, conservative, quiet, reserved, humble, reliable.

blessed be

The Wind’s Song
by
Saul Stacey Williams

the square root of a kiss is a hum
i hum under my breath when i contemplate
the drum of your heartbeat
and my heart beats for your breath
i revel in the wind for mere glimpses

i’m tornado over you
would you look into the eye of my storm
i whirlwind through your life like breeze
and fill your lungs
as we achieve the second power of a hum

I love…

as instruments come to life through breath
the wind sends my high notes to indigo communions
with Coltrane’s “Favorite Things”
…this is my body
which is given for you,
this is my blood
 which is shed for you…

my love like the wind, uncaged
blows time into timeless whirlpools
transfiguring fear and all of it’s subordinates
(possession, jealousy, fear)
into crumbling dried leaves

my love
is the winds slave
and, thus is free

my love
is the wind that is shaped
as it passes through the lips of earthly vessels
becoming words of wisdom
songs of freedom
or simply hot air

my love is the winds song
if it is up to me, i’ll never die.
if it is up to me, i’ll die tomorrow
one-thousand times in an hour
and live seven minutes later

if it is up to me, the sun will never cease to shine
and the moon will never cease to glow
and i’ll dance a million tomorrows
in the sun rays of the moon waves
and bathe in the yesterdays of days to come
ignoring all of my after thoughts
& preconceived notions

if it is up to me,
if it is up to me.
and thus my love:
untainted
eternal

the wind is the moons imagination wandering:
it seeps through cracks
explores the unknown
and ripples the grass
my love is my souls imagination
 how do i love thee?
imagine

gearshifts

There are no mistakes and it’s never boring on the edge of imagination, which is only pure spirit out having a bit of fun.
Wavy Gravy

Welcome to 2013 !
Gotta laugh, life is comical.
I was tweaking one teeny thing in drop down menu and the whole thing went pfft.  Transit Pluto square (Uranus and) natal Saturn in Aries 3rd – techno snafu gutted it.
Was making changes anyway – this just speeds things up a bit.
::::::::::::::::::::::::

Mercury in Capricorn coming to conjunct Pluto and Sun all square Uranus in Aries.
Moon is in late Leo on her way to Virgo, as she moves into Virgo – she will trine all of the above, one after another.

Tuesday January 1
Moon into Virgo
11:35pm CST, USA

Aquarius Mars trines Jupiter Rx in Gemini – both sextile Uranus Aries.  Headspace is going to be busy – ideas rushing in – full of dualities and possibilities – Jupiter opens new horizons in the brainpan.

Saturn in Scorp streamlines – squeezes – she digs, delves and uses all that swampy gunk, all the Plutonic trash to make treasure.
Scorp rids; Cap builds – both take time, fyi…
Saturn and Pluto aren’t exactly Ferrari’s of the zodiac, so be patient with yourself.

Think of Saturn in Scorp as your diamond / oil transit.

Mind your mines as Jupes Rx is still a stress point with Saturn and Pluto.
Saturn in Scorp is all about releasing what is no longer of USE.
Write it down & burn it up if you have to – get rid of what mentally ails / fails you.

We’ll be getting lots of support from earth to earth – Virgo Moon hits the ground running. Thoughts and feelings gain traction on the material plane, slow and steady processing is progressing, stay positive.

Aries / Libra will be growth central – actions imminent !
Cancer peeps pop up making you aware of actions you need to take.

Mars squares Saturn : time to slow cook the gumbo.
You KNOW what you DESIRE – and you want it now ?!? lol. yeah, I get that.

Lesson of Jupiter Rx point of Yod ?
Trusting the Finger of the ONE God / Goddess.

The universe works with you . . . critical information will download as it is meant to, precisely on time, as the gears of the cosmic wheel shift.
Trust it.

Final Frontier

::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
Terence McKenna

Sun conjunct Venus (conjunct ASC) in Scorpio, Jupiter also in Scorpio, all in the 12th house of the collective unconscious.  (Chiron is also Scorpio, in the 11th.)
Pretty amazing.

Scorpios love research and Terence was a shaman who devoted his life to exploratory research of the worlds of hallucinogenic drugs.

He had Virgo Moon (at MC – Moon is the well of the psyche- the unconscious and it rules his 8th house) in square to all his personal planets – yet it was quintile Uranus.  His Uranus was a singleton (no major aspects) in Gemini.  (See Jeff Bridges under actors – he has a singleton Uranus as well.)  Uranus unaspected operates as a maverick’s  maverick  – it truly in every sense operates on instinct alone, wild and free.

Uranus is quincunx 12th house Venus showing a need to adapt and improvise – perfect – think of how he had to adapt when speaking and communicating his other-worldly vision quests so they could be understood or useful to others.  North Node of Destiny is in Gemini as well, making Terence a communicator, esp with Mercury conjunct Mars.

Terence had Saturn conjunct Pluto in Leo in 9, serious reasearch of the creative spirit, of all life and our place within the vast universe that crosses all ethno-species time-space dimensional barriers.

Saturn and Pluto squared Jupiter in Scorpio from the 9th to the 12th – so interesting, yes ..?  He did not physically travel to other worlds, but within his mind, in a drug induced state – yes, he explored new horizons within the human universe – the final frontier – THE MIND.

I saved Neptune for last because it is the Drug Planet.
Terence had Neptune in Libra sextile his Sagittarius Mercury, Mars conjunction ( there are his actions thrown behind  expansive, mind-altering vision quests).

His Neptune was also sextile his Saturn, Pluto conjunction in Leo (he shines a light on teaching from the depths of his deep mind diving research – 12th house Scorp Sun).

Lastly, his Saturn Pluto conjunction in Leo 9 was trine his Mercury and Mars in Sagittarius in the first house.   Fire to fire, willpower aimed at communicating visions and new horizons – opening doors of perceptions was how he rolled.

Moon at MC, indicates fluctuation (and the public) and interestingly enough, some saw Terence as a kook, some saw him as a visionary, some saw him as a modern- day scientist / shaman / researcher,  some saw him as a green eco-warrior waving a flag of peace and calling for balance and respect for all life forms.

However the world sees him, Terence was VISIONARY and ahead of his time.
RIP Terence.
