Rolling Thunderboil

normanNorman Reedus also here

I gave myself the Walking Dead for Full Leo Moon in my 8th house for VDay.
Marathon of intensity for Lunar rush between my Venus/Jupes.  I loved it immediately, particularly when the phrase “we have been through so much, but I hardly know you” came up.  Very Saturn in Scorpio, Uranus square Pluto – cut to the chase, work to be done, the rolling thunderboil.  It resonated, was exactly what I needed.

Daryl is such an interesting character, I read Norman wanted him to have a heart of gold under that rough past, made it happen onscreen.  Savvy Moon in Leo (rules heart) touch, I love it.  Well done.

Norman showing some IL love right onNorman is a Capricorn Sun square Saturn (refined) in Aries (action), with Mars (rules Aries) well placed in Scorpio (ancient ruler, regenerative power) in trine to Venus exalted in Pisces.  Quiet strength, resilient, fair – ready to kick ass into high gear metamorphosis when need be, also good senses re: heart of what matters.

Scorpio Mars square (internal tension) Mercury (communications) exalted in Aquarius, brain gears running rebel warp speed, yet not oppressive or showy but intense.  He speaks volumes when he doesn’t speak at all (see rolling thunderboil).  Late Virgo Pluto (Rx) out of sign conjunct Uranus conjunct Jupiter in early Libra – sweet rolling trines to earth Sun and air Mercury by transference of light.  Practical balance, exploring the intellectual intensity of relationships (Venus square Neptune).

Norman Reedus WD
Sideways, interesting divinations.

In a close up in the episode I was just watching (3/7), I noticed Norman has two moles on the left (private) side of his face near his mouth.  Moles are metal, considered lucky on the face, I have one on my left also – we will age well. More face reading info in previous posts here.

Jupiter (archer, travel) is conjunct Uranus (adoption, friends) in Libra (partnerships) which is well suited to both Daryl and Normans journey. Norman has spent many years traveling the globe since he was young – travel make camp, then pick up and move on.  Living the 5 life path dream.

Mercurial, (rules 5, and is exalted in Aquarius) thoughtful, kind…he says and does interesting things that shifts my perspective into high qi. He also likes cats (Leo Moon) which is always a plus in my book, having plenty of Leo myself.  Here he is with Eye in the Dark.  I’ll pop a vid in the comments as well.

Norman and Eye in the Dark

Scorpio Neptune trine 29 degree Pisces Chiron finds healing via discernment of emotional connections between all living things.  Very strong healing vibe worked well through the vehicle of film, (Neptune rules) both behind and in front of the lens.

Mercury exalted loves the intellectual perspective shifts creation delivers.
Venus exalted loves the emotional transcendence.
Norman is the best of both worlds, brilliant and compassionate.

The chosen work of the artist is always evident in the natal, as well as the person themselves.  I find it endlessly fascinating how we all manifest spirit through our work on earth. (Sun is spirit; Saturn, rules Capricorn, earth and work)

Norman archery

Interesting also – my brother was punctured by his arrow in a fall, pulled it out himself and hauled his ass outta the woods, alone.  Deets, story in previous post here.  Norman’s Leo Moon (actors, drama) is conjunct my brothers triple Leo Pluto Mars Saturn.

I came back specifically to edit in this amazing pic.

Mark Lone

You knew this day was coming.
More Star Wars.
Specifically, Mark Hamill, aka Luke Skywalker.
:::::::::::::::

There are a multitude of micro/macro perspectives to be gleaned from one natal chart.

It is very similar to reading a 36 card Grand Tableau where each card lands on a house, connects to another card on another house…all forming energetic connections, a web  that begins to take shape and flesh out the bones of the story.
Shift focus onto another card, the story also shifts focus.
Reading cards or charts is akin to seeing shifting rainbow facets of a crystal prism.

I read Mark’s natal and see Mark’s life journey.
I read Mark’s natal and I also see the journey of Luke.
I wrote about this prismatic sight before here.
Kind of like..Jedi Mind Tricks !

Mark is a Libra Sun/Saturn, Leo Moon, Capricorn rising, Neptune at MC.
North Node in Pisces further indicates work in the creative arts is a natural choice.
As does Mars/Pluto in creative Leo, a signature of creative drive/metamorphosis, particularly in the 8th.

Uranus is in Moon-ruled Cancer conjunct DC in the 7th forming the focal point of a T-Square with Jupiter Rx in Aries opposite Neptune as well as Sun/Saturn in Libra.
The need for creative freedom in relationships, both intellectually (3rd/9th axis) and emotionally (Cancer) is highlighted with this placement.  Communication is paramount with oppositions falling across the 3rd/9th house axis.

One way out of that tough T-Square is Aries Jupiter trine Leo Moon – learning creative flexibility. Moon sextiles Sun/Saturn elevated, allowing a way around the mountain or(Saturnian restriction to spirit/Sun), if you will.
Another way out is a sextile from Cancer Uranus to Virgo Mercury (strong, it rules) or inventive thought, or in Mark’s case, building (Virgo Venus out of sign conjunct Leo Mars) not only a career in film, but also a rich career in voice work.

I also popped in asteroid 8958 Stargazer, for my fave scene (I’ll pop it in comments) where Luke watches the binary sunsets on Tatoonie.  Asteroid Stargazer is just what it sounds like, named in honor of amateur astronomers who love to gaze at the heavens.  Mark has Stargazer in Gemini (ahem binary) trine Neptune (film) in Libra at MC, square Mercury in Virgo (he doesn’t have to say a word in that scene, we totally get it).

Also of giddy note : 3 Jupiterian Jedi facts !

1 Mark’s Chiron is tightly conjunct the Galactic Center in expansive, higher minded Sagittarius and rising aka strong.
2 North Node of Destiny in Pisces (cosmic healing) is quintile (special talents, genius expression) Chiron in Sagittarius.
3 Leo Mars is in harmonious trine to Galactic Center, quintile Fortuna in Scorpio 10, art changing how the world sees USE of personal power.

First, Chiron interp, then GC.

Chiron is the wounded healer, teacher / philosopher / healer who through learning how to deal with his own pain, gained vast knowledge in herbal medicines, ethics and fighting.  Chiron trained heroes.
Chiron in Sagittarius trains a LOT of them.
Just sayin’.

To interpret anything, you first have to know what it is.
The Galactic Center is about 27,000 light-years from Earth, (see our Sun near the Orion spur above) filled with dust, gas, 22 million red giant stars and a
supermassive black hole called  “Sagittarius A”.  Not unusual, scientists say black holes are at the center of most galaxies.

Center of Galaxy via NASAImage credit: NASA/CXC/UMass Amherst/Q.D.Wang et al.

This Chandra X-Ray image (above) shows three massive star clusters: the Arches (upper right), Quintuplet (upper center), and the GC star cluster (bottom center), which is near the enormous black hole known as Sagittarius A.  Cool, yah ?!

A black hole is mass is packed into a tiny volume, squished to its ultimate density.  Black holes create stable deformations in the fabric of spacetime that affects matter moving around them.* Gas swirling around a black hole acts like the record needle, but instead of producing specific sounds, it produces certain frequencies of X-ray light. *First clue.
X-rays consist of electromagnetic radiation of wavelengths shorter than those of ultraviolet rays and longer than those of gamma rays.

E magsScientists think that gas particles moving in warped spacetime near the black hole exhibit two types of motions, each giving rise to a unique frequency. One motion is the orbital motion of the gas as it goes around the black hole. This produces the 450 Hz frequency. The lower 300 Hz frequency is caused by the gas wobbling slightly due to the spacetime deformations. source

To understand what happens inside a black hole, we need to invent new physics. Mathematician Juan Antonio Valiente Kroon

ESO center_of_Milky_Way_GalaxyThe image above spans the constellations Sagittarius and Scorpius, with the Milky Way’s dusty plane along a diagonal.  Surrounding the galactic center are narrow threads known as nonthermal filaments (NTFs), the most prominent of which are called the Arc, the Pelican, and the Snake. source

So how to interpret Galactic Center ?

First we are in a barred spiral, the bulge (central) stars are normally older red stars,  dating back to our galaxy’s beginnings 13.2 billion years ago.  These stars lack heavy elements needed to create planetary systems and life as we know it.*
*
That’s the second clue.
I
 mentioned frequencies scientists find shooting out of black holes above. Sagittarius A is supermassive, likely producing 300 – 450 Hz (+ ?) as well.

The frequencies for each chakra energy center are:
Root – 256 Hz
Sacral – 288 Hz
Solar Plexus – 320 Hz
Heart – 341 Hz
Throat – 384 Hz
3rd Eye – 448 hz
Crown – 480 Hz

Of the six holy frequencies (ravi solfeggio here) 431 to 600Hz is associated with whole brain quadrant interconnectedness, connecting relationships. Sounds like a singularity  to me.*  You ?  More on chakras here.  *Third clue.

You can see from the electro-mag diagram above the visible light spectrum is just a small fraction of the information incoming that we are currently able to consciously process without technology.  Advancements in science have allowed us to communicate globally, see through matter (X-rays), presumably when conscious energy reaches gamma and upward we can experience time / space / dimensional singularity as well.*
*Four.

Boiled down, my interpretation of Galactic Center is:
Information incoming/outgoing, lots more information still out there/in here.
Spacetime / mind over matter.

Curious exploration coupled with optimism.
Wisdom through experience, and all that implies.
EVOLUTION – DEVOLUTION
?
I’ll let you stew on that last one a bit…

Mark’s Chiron conjunct GC, Leo Mars trine, and N Node quintile ?
I see the Jedi Master plain and simple.

Mark brought the role of Luke Skywalker to life – that character, and his struggle to expand his perceptions captures the hearts, minds and imagination of anyone who has ever hoped and dreamed of learning, seeing, and being MORE.
Luke embodies the hero’s journey we all are on in some form or fashion.
See Joseph Campbell here.
We all strive to connect cosmic meaning to everyday existence – impatiently so, which is largely why our Earth is in such a mess today – desires run rampant rather than sense.  Once Luke makes peace within himself, he begins to make peace with everyone else – he becomes the hero in his own story.

Like I said in post 7 (Solo), (Vader here) Star Wars changed my life.  As far as posts go, I am nearing a grand, I wanted to wait until the universe moved me to write this very special one.  Mars is coming to conjunct Mark’s Sun; Pisces Moon/Chiron are smack on his N Node in Pisces.  Now might be a good time to mention Mark’s Jupiter is conjunct my Saturn Rx in Aries, just like both Doctor Who and my former husband.  It is a fantastic, hopeful, buddy on tour energy that really helps me keep going in dark times, I am not surprised my first Jedi has this gift for me !

A Jedi must have the deepest commitment, the most serious mind.
Yoda

So I promised to tell you how I see Luke in Mark’s chart.
Uranus in Cancer (separation from home, family, mother – yes Mark also moved house many times while young, see how astro switch hits ?!) Uranus also rules adoption, and Luke was secreted away to live with his Uncle Owen on Tatoonie after Leia died.  Mark’s MC – Neptune aka the hidden, also spiritual intelligence aka Jedi. Uranus rules rebels – in Cancer, Luke’s family is full of ’em.

Surprise ! (Uranus) your quirky new droid (also Ura) has a message (sextile Mercury). You don’t know it yet (surprise/ knowing/Uran), but that hot chick is your twin (Mercury again, rules Gemini) sister.

See the Yoda quote above ?
Sun conjunct Saturn in Libra (Saturn is exalted here) that is a serious commitment to justice also heehee this is so fun with Neptune at MC, Luke was prophesied (Neptune)  to be the one that would bring Balance to The Force. (Libra MC)

Fantastic.
May the Force be with You

Leo Moon !
I could hear the gears turning in kitties heads as I left for work …
We’re gonna be on tv, right ?
Better !  – internet, worldwide.
Yay !  *puffs out chest*

Leo moon is great for over the top pleasure pursuits, instinctive creative bursts (though a bit fluctuating), playing the drama queens / kings card and basically stealing the show.

The WILL is keyed up by emotions of Moon – solar power is applied to whatever or whomever is fancied in a fun, snazzy, flirtatious, full-throttle, life-affirming way.

Leo Moons like, no – NEED – attention like air, food and water – they thrive on it !

Leos have a flair for fun and when the emotions are involved they are like kids in a candy store, grabbing all the goodies of life with gusto, playing and having a blast.  If you have the affections of a Leo Moon, they will likely surprise you with thoughtful gifts, for Leos are generous and giving – shining solar light wherever they go.

They are proud, regal and chivalrous – feelings easily hurt – solar and lunar reflections are in this house – so don’t poke fun at their haircut or how they look if you want to stay on their good side.  Leo Moons can be very vain. Exactly why Leo Moons are great for snazzing up the daily routine with some dazzle and sparkle, and strutting your stuff !

Shine ON babes – you look fabulous

Mermaid, interrupted.

Moon in Leo trine Uranus in Aries.  Sun in Cancer.
aka: Get creative with the mood swings, bob and weave.

Uranus in gung ho to go Aries is focal point of a T-Square with touchie – feelie Cancer Sun and rigid Capricorn Pluto.  Mercury advances to late Cancer and is awash with angsty mental gymnastics as we hash out Venus and Saturn retro.

Be cranky or be creative ? ! ?
 Libra serves up prime grade A choice once again.  Sun trines Saturn Rx while it opposes Pluto in Cap – no the work is not perfect, just show up and do it anyway, let the chips fall where they may.  Mars in Virgo trines Jupiter in Gemini – keep the dialogue moving and open < ~ > the road is hot !

~ seriously ~ who out there has been able to concentrate lately…?!
Anyone .. ?
My brain pan is snapping, fired up and popping !  No cohesion, just can’t bring it lately (no I am not fishing) my thoughts are scattered and I am feeling the pressure.

Venus Rx steps up to the plate to quincunx Pluto Rx in Cap.  Oy.  Adjustment – always a fun one, growing pains all over the shop : adaptation, improvisation with the past loves and creative juices morphing into our future. Not going fast enough is it…?  (Pluto squares Uranus after all.)   Hang tough.

Are we all getting our messages from the past yet ?  (South Node dovetailing between Venus and Jupes in Gem)

I got mine twice over, nice.  A couple of sweet little biscuits delivered straight to my heart in the middle of the minefield (yes, Venus and Jupiter rule sweet things) to help keep some hope alive. bless xo

Delusion is so last week – now Sunlight shines on Neptuner Rx and that is bringing the insightful goodies, thank the goddess !  It is about time.  May blessings be with you and your insights as well.

Rough week here.  Got in a fight at work today – was actually yelling.
Return of Tentacle Dude, sheesh the fuqers grow BACK.

I need that hermit job, stat !  Where do I sign up ?. lol

Seriously, though – the square tightens – do not engage.
Protections in place.
Lock & Load.

Delusional dilemmas are often so brilliantly deciphered in a sharp one card reading.
Here is mine from the Fairy Ring TarotI actually did a whole spread, but the first card told me all I needed to know right off the bat.

Venus Rx + Neptune Rx.

I have been giving all my head space to Uranus Pluto since they conjunct Sun in my natal, then the universe steps in …pssst… Neptune is your biggie, ya know, and Venus is squashed between the other 2 in progs.  Venus and Neptune don’t vibe well in my natal either, and the screws are turning.

Neptune and Venus Retro are squaring up now, for all of us.  Luckily they do so in mutables, so we can adapt and change easier.  Venus is nearing Jupes by retrograde as well, and that is beneficial if not more than a little scattered in Gemini.

Heads up for your messages from the past…just remember Venus stations direct at 7 degrees on the 27th – don’t expect real clarity  until it is out of shadow at 24 degrees of Gemini.

Horn of Gondor

May I introduce England’s most versatile actor, Mr. Sean Bean.  He holds a stellar career spanning every medium for approximately 20 years, in theater, radio, television and movies.  (IMDb)

Sean is an Aries Sun, Leo Moon with North Node of Destiny in Libra.  Sun is exalted in Aries, the sign led by Mars the warrior.  Sun flavored by Mars brings great physical strength and enthusiasm to lead and achieve.  Fire Sun and Moon makes for a passionate man of action and inspiration.  Sean is a life path 9, this is a life of completion, attainment, wisdom and mysticism.

Sun opposing Neptune in Scorpio may bring disillusionment, through self (Sun) or others (opposition), slowed momentum or detours in life may come through strong desires and misplaced energies of this aspect. (Neptune in Scorpio: Pluto ruler of Scorpio most highly aspected; Pluto focal point of T-Square: Neptune square Moon/Uranus conjunction).  Working in film (Neptune rules) makes this placement easier as the energies of the ‘other’ via Neptune (inspired art) can be brought to life (Sun) and the vast creative imagination (Moon conjunct Uranus in Leo) unfurled to the highest good.

Virgo Pluto as most highly aspected planet, makes Sean a powerhouse of transformation – particularly trine Saturn, (long-term work and career, * see comments for death scenes – Pluto rules death) and trine the Sun which signals great intensity and ability to focus and research each role.  Not only will Sean lead a life of many changes, he will also serve as a catalyst for those he meets.

Pluto brings an intensity and drive to plumb the depths of the inner wellspring of personal power.  People with strong Pluto placements dig into the psyche like a porterhouse steak, it is an instinctual need to probe and penetrate the mysteries.  He chooses political thrillers, warriors, heroes that are meaty roles so he can have more fun fleshing out the richness of the character.  Pluto rules the underworld – think crime, mafia, secret government spies, etc.. Sean naturally gravitates towards these roles.

Mercury in Aries brings impatience to thinking and communicating with others, especially with a trine to clairvoyant Uranus conjunct intuitive Moon in Leo.  He’s a step ahead, a quick study who gets bored quickly with inessentials.  (Mercury speech square -inner tension- restrictive Capricorn Saturn Rx, and square Mars action.)  Though he may not speak of this impatience, he is likely quiet, but his mind (Mercury) is Mars-ruled and prefers to keep ideas and energy moving, he’s thinking plenty, but keeping it to himself.

Mars on a fluctuating water house (fluctuating Moon rules Cancer) swings from action to inaction, it tends to keep the lid on…simmering…to a boil.  Mars wants to express outwardly and Cancer wants to draw inward – the energies are at odds and it can indicate moodiness.  This aspect is also well channelled through film (Mars trine Neptune) and indicates an intuition about people – Mars in Cancer can tap this and employ it while emoting on camera.

Mercury is focal point (in a T-Square) square both Mars and Saturn Rx (Mars and Saturn Rx are opposite -in compromise- with each other). This creates an inner obstacle in communications involving instinctive actions and work.  Squares are more powerful than trines once we solve them because they are the whetstone on the blade – we sharpen our senses through repeated friction.

Mercury is the interpreter, and in Sean’s chart, it trines both expansive Jupiter in Sagittarius, and the powerful Uranus Moon conjunction in creative Leo.  Likely honing down the possibilities of each role, and fine tuning the potentials into the ‘set in stone’ final product is what he finds both difficult and yet highly rewarding.  Creative Venus in Gemini sees the dualities of every role and the opportunities (sextile Mercury) available, it is the choosing (Venus and Uranus rule choice) that proves difficult with fluctuating Moon in the house of artistic Leo conjunct Uranus (polarities).

Moon (emotions, women) conjunct Uranus (rebel, eccentric) in Leo brings not only enormous reserves of innovative creative WILL power (Leo motto : I Will.) but also uncanny intuitiveness, particularly surrounding females and the public (Moon rules).  They trine Mercury so smart, communicative females are likely among his close friends.  Uranus needs freedom and feelings can grow stale unless there are mental gymnastics at play.  Mercury in Aries likes to keep moving, so stimulating conversation is a must with all people he meets.

The downside of this conjunction is the possibility of frequent sudden unexpected emotional upsets.  Uranus is the unpredictable planet of change and innovation and it is tied up with Moon (feelings, women, home).  There will be fluctuation (Moon) and polarities can change regarding where the ‘heart’ (Leo rules) is placed in an instant.  To best use this energy (Uranus rules the electrical body) watch the lunar and solar cycles (flares, etc..) for mood (Moon) changes and channel the creativity of this aspect into artistic pursuits.  Find a way to get your zen on.  Sports (fire Sun and Moon), travel, exploring, and also reading as Jupiter trine Mercury makes for an eternal student, with a need for enriching experiences and new ideas.

Also, Uranus rules flight, Moon fluctuation.  This square (inner tension) from the house of Leo (ruled by Sun, life) to Neptune in Scorpio (ruled by Pluto, death) explains the reticence to fly.

Pluto is focal point of a T-Square – it squares Venus and Jupiter (Venus and Jupiter oppose each other).  Pluto wants the power in any relationship – squared up with Venus, power in romantic relationships.  Venus in Gemini is clever, versatile, observant and scatters ideas and energies.  Jupiter ruling Sagittarius is a strong placement bringing grandiose ideals and philosophies it is the placement of the higher mind, it is also expansive and scatters ideals and philosophies.  Virgo Pluto is going to want tight control over that Gemini Venus and Jupiter in Sagittarius – these energies are not naturally restrictive, so this aspect will need work to find balance.

Pluto in Virgo analyzes (Virgo motto: I analyze) everything (particularly true as Pluto is the most highly aspected planet) in life and wants to dig deep and improve: health, love, self, work, you name it.  Pluto the planet of transformation, death and rebirth is steeping in a Mercury ruled house, as is Venus (Mercury rules Gemini).  That indicates thinking and communication of all kinds regarding love, money and partnerships and details regarding them are being transformed by contact with Pluto.  Jupiter in Sagittarius is the expansive mind  the learning and teaching of life on a broader philosophic scale.  These three planets involved in a T-Square indicates a need to be as the eye of the storm – a stillness, a of peace of mind – within the turmoil of life changes.  Jupiter expands what it contacts, it does throw a beneficial influence, but it also indicates a need for caution when in square (inner tension) to Plutonian power.

Pluto opposes Chiron the wounded healer in Aquarius, the sign of curiosity and eccentrics, the sign of futuristic forward thinking.  Chiron placed here wants inventive ways of healing and learning, but in opposition (compromise with others) to Pluto, this placement can indicate revolutionary changes to ways of thinking (Pluto in Mercury – ruled Virgo), feeling (Uranus, rules Aquarius conjunct Moon in Leo) and knocks to the ego through the deeds of others.  Pluto in this aspect indicates a need to relinquish the desire to use personal power over others and instead channel that same vast inner power of Pluto for control over the self.  In this way, healing of self and others can be reached as a partnership, as a team.

North Node of Destiny in Venus – ruled Libra accentuates a creative direction in life and working with the creative opportunities inherent in the difficult Moon / Uranus conjunction (North Node sextiles both).  Sean has five retrograde planets (tendency to be solitary) which indicates an internal expression of the planetary energies until life circumstances force the planetary energies to be expressed outwardly. (more Rx info here)  They are Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto: the social and outer transpersonal planets.  Basically having retrogrades means you will work harder to get a handle on things – as you get older you will – then you will truly be a force to be reckoned with because you are so practiced at expressing the energies you have pondered for so long.

Quickie outlook: Currently work and relationships are getting an overhaul, transiting Pluto Rx is nearing Sean’s 7 degree natal Saturn Rx in Capricorn, bringing a re-structuring of work and career, and perhaps an authority figure (natal Sun opposite transiting Saturn) will force a career change (Pluto is transformative, change and rebirth) for the better. All the best, Sean…

You’re lookin’ at country

May I introduce singer / songwriter, American music legend ~ Loretta Lynn.
(click)

Born in Butcher Hollow, Kentucky to a coal miner father, Lynn married at 13 years old, was a mother soon after, and moved to Washington with her husband, Oliver Vanetta Lynn, Jr. (b.1926, d.1996), nicknamed “Doo”. Their marriage was sometimes tumultuous; he had affairs and she was headstrong. Their experiences together became inspiration for her music. (wiki)
~~~~~~~~~~~
I had the privilege of hearing Loretta sing a few years back and I gotta tell ya –
I was thrilled !   I love Loretta Lynn and her friend, Pasty Cline (click).  They are women of the highest caliber in my book – they blazed new trails in music and showed men in Nashville the power of women – both as singer / songwriter performers and also as women music fans.  Once Loretta and Pasty met, they became fast friends, supported each other, went on tour together, and they remained close until Patsy’s death. Loretta named one of her twins Peggy and the other Pasty.  They are both an inspiration to me.
Loretta sang of troubles from a woman’s viewpoint.  No subject was taboo – she sang about fighting off sexual advances of a come home late, good-timing drunk husband, fist fights, infidelity, teenage pregnancy, divorce and double- standards, the Pill, the Vietnam war, you name it – she spoke up about it – Loretta is Aries through and through !
A woman who had barely grown up before she started having babies, she was juggling being a mother with kids (4 children by the age of 19), her career and keeping a rocky marriage rolling while on tour and writing music.  She sang of real women troubles in straight talk, no glossy format- blunt and straight to the point, like you would dish with your best girlfriend over coffee. Women around the world love her for singing their stories and we still do.
~~~~~~~~~~~~

Her 1967 album, Don’t Come Home A-Drinkin, went to number one and became one of the first albums by a female country artist to go gold. (sales of 500,000 copies)  Loretta’s 1976 autobiography Coal Miner’s Daughter,  became a #1 bestseller making Loretta Lynn the first country music artist to make the New York Times bestseller list.

She has had ten Number 1 albums and sixteen Number 1 singles, four Grammies, seven AMA awards, she was the first woman named “Entertainer of the Year” by the Country Music Association, she was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 1988, and Loretta was the first female country musician to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1977.  She possibly had more banned songs than any other artist in the history of country music, she was controversial because she spoke the truth.
OUT LOUD in PUBLIC !  WoOoHooOo  Go Loretta !

The movie, Coal Miner’s Daughter, the story of her life, starring Sissy Spacek as Loretta and Tommy Lee Jones as Mooney Lynn was the #1 box office hit in American and Loretta Lynn crossed over from country music superstar to American legend. This film also made Loretta Lynn the first living person to ever have a major motion picture made of their life. It garnered seven Academy Award nominations winning a Best Actress Oscar for Sissy Spacek and a slew of other top honors including a gold album for the soundtrack album, a Grammy nomination for Spacek’s singing as Lynn, a Country Music Association & Academy of Country Music awards plus several Golden Globe awards as well.
If you haven’t seen it ~ good Lord, do so, it is awesome !
“…go put the backdrop back on the bed honey..” one of my fave quotes, lol.

 Loretta is obviously a go-getter, mega Aries
Aries likes to be first, fast – they are fiery and fun !  Loretta has rebel Uranus as her guiding planet (oriental), in an Aries stellium – she’s a firecracker – no doubt about it !

Lilith, Sun, Uranus, Mercury and Mars all in Aries – this stellium (by transference of light, I am counting Mars) is square Pluto in Moon – ruled Cancer.  Moon is the mother, but also women and the public in the natal chart and Pluto signifies major transformation and change.  (See bio above)  So Aries stellium on the house of Scorpio squaring Pluto (rules Scorpio on the 3rd) safe to say Loretta’s packing a punch ~ and I mean that in more ways than one.  The 3rd house is communication – Scorpio ruling – she is a force to be reckoned with because she speaks her mind – like it or not !  Change is a comin’ !

Loretta also has Sun square Saturn.  That is trouble with authority and men – obviously with all that Aries she demands her independence and has her own mind, takes her own lead.  It also means a heck of a lot of work and restraint in life because of it. She is the mother of 6 children, and was on tour much of the time during their growing up years – that had to be hard.  (Saturn opposite Moon and Jupiter)  Sun square Moon in Leo shows the need to shine but also the need denied or fluctuating in the emotional department.

See how Saturn (work) trines Venus (love, art) in Gemini..?  Gemini Venus likes to spread the love, it can and will cover all the bases because it multi-tasks well.  So her kids, her fans and her husband all knew – she and her love was solid as a rock.  They understood – she was just a busy lady, a mother and an artist juggling to keep everyone happy.

Neptune in Virgo shows her need for self-care.  Virgos can overdo the giving thing, and Loretta’s Neptune (sacrifice) is square Venus (rules peace of mind and balance).  This also signifies her love life was a bit too scattered and flip-flop.  She likely is very hard on herself for not being as successful as she would like regarding love, art and public longevity in the eyes of corporate Nashville. (Venus square Neptune; Saturn quincunx Neptune -music- hidden in the 12th)  * Aside: Thank you, Jack White !  I LOVE you !  (click) See comments for material from Van Lear Rose

Sun conjunct Uranus, I know that one well enough – a lifetime full of surprises as well as (conjunct Mercury) speaking up about them. Is it any wonder she wrote Fist City  with all that Aries..?  Aries on the 8th is territorial in love and will Back It UP !  Lookout !
Loretta is quoted as saying, “he never hit me one time that I didn’t hit him back twice”.  So the girl got it, then Doo did too.  Although Loretta had tough times with Doolittle, they remained married 48 years until his death in 1996.

Venus at mid – heaven…?  Well, Willie (click) has that aspect too – and obviously both Willie and Loretta are well known for their music, songwriting and performing and are also well loved by their fans. ox indeed !   Moon is quintile (spiritual gifts / talents) Chiron, giving Loretta healing gifts regarding the public, women in particular.

Moon conjunct Jupiter in Leo and Loretta was born to embrace her visionary principles (Jupiter rules Sagittarius) in the public spotlight (Moon and Leo).  The cool thing is that with Virgo rising she’s low – key about it and with North Node of Destiny in Pisces 7… she is meant to dissolve boundaries and walls regarding relationships in the collective consciousness.

She knocked it outta the ballpark by giving millions of American women and in fact, all women across the world a voice.

I am one woman among many who thank you Loretta.
With love and always your fan,
