Raw Power

Last night I was reading tarot in bed and pulled all four Aces.  Now that doesn’t happen everyday, has only happened to me once that I can remember, in my readings for myself.  I have been reading tarot for 27 years.

I learn the most by reading for myself and seeing how the cards play out in my life.  I find it the best way to be exact in readings with others because I am so familiar with the energies on a personal level.

Last nights reading reminded me of an old friend of mine that had kids…I stayed with them for awhile in between living arrangements.  Her boys were young – squirming in their chairs, slurping noodles, making faces, and rocking back in their seats.  I often heard her exclaim, “Four on the floor !” meaning chair legs down, sit still and eat now !

Steady as she goes, Captain.

All four Aces will bring fresh new creative energies in all phases of life.
Aces are the pure, raw, initial outgoing energy of the suit – Cardinal energy !  New things are on their way… !

Wands = Fire, creative energy and inspiration
Pentacles= Earth, skill sets and building on the material plane
Swords= Air, intellect, communications, socializing
Cups= Water, emotions, intuition, compassion

Reading tarot is like reading natal charts – identify the predominant energies, and how are they operating and where.  Tarot card placement in a spread is just as important as planetary placements.  How do the cards blend, how do the planets work together..?

Once I was astonished at the number of wands in my spread, almost all of them were.   Soon thereafter, I had news that brought on a bit of a panic.  (Luckily, wands energy moves quickly, it soon passed.)

One sad day before work, I drew the Death card covered by the Empress.  I went to work only to have my boss tell me a good friend had died.  I knew the couple and was close friends with them both, and their kids.   I drew a card to help comfort my girlfriend after her husband had passed – a message from him, if he could – and pulled the 2 of Cups.  That was so perfect, and tarot is right on the money, just like astrology.

The Page of Wands means a good message – incoming or outgoing depending on the placement in the spread.

Right before my lunch, I drew the Ace of Wands in the final card position.
Creative energy !
Now made manifest !

fortify

Fluorite is a cubic, octahedral stone that is fluorescent, or glows under UV light.  The origin of the name is Latin, meaning to flow.
It is a stone that enhances mental clarity and provides a clear, clean energy.  It is good for increasing memory, concentration and enhances decision-making.  Note that it has a cubic habit, which is the power of 4 – structure, stability and manifestation.

This stone can help give form to scattered thoughts and energies, and bring your goals into focus.   It increases the flow of energy between brain hemispheres allowing the intuitive (right) and logical reasoning (left) halves to work in unison.  By making the mental path clear, fluorite aids in making a solid plan of action in order to reach your goals step by step.

In the natural chart 3rd house is Gemini, ruled by Mercury, motto: I THINK.  It is communication in all forms, lower mind, early education, study habits, how you learn, writing and short distance travel.

Sagittarius is 9th house, ruled by Jupiter, motto: I SEE.  It is higher mind, teaching, universities, philosophy, ethics, morals, beliefs, religion and long distance travel.

Neptune rules the 12th house of Pisces, the hidden, fog, delusion and illusion, mysticism, secrets and sacrifice.  The house in your natal chart where Neptune lives will be a place of spirituality, mysticism and perhaps some form of sacrifice or suffering in your life.

If you have an active Neptune in your natal chart, meaning is it contacting by conjunction, opposition or square another planet, you can not only expect some foggy nebulous action concerning the planets/houses involved, but also inspirational downloads from the cosmos and the collective.

If you have Neptune aspecting a natal planet by transit via conjunction opposition or square, expect the same.

If you are having Neptune trouble, may as well fortify yourself with some stable, earthy fluorite energy to help dissipate the fog, clear the air and put all that inspirational, visionary thinking to practical use.

fly anyway

Great sunny day here, pretty windy (Uranus rules wind gusts) – spidey from a few posts back was hanging on tight to what was left of her battered zig-zag web.

Have I mentioned Virgos like critters ?  Virgo rules pets, and I have had all kinds, fish, gerbils, toads, frogs, geckos, dogs, cats even a fly once when I was little (and no, I don’t know why, and yes, I let him go).

I took a few pics of my nearly full-blooming clematis for my Aussie friend, Mo.  It attracts a ton of critters and bugs…
This pic turned out pretty well considering this bumblebee stopped at nearly every single flower and was hard to follow.
Bee was busy, definitely busy.    (Mercury rules bees, Venus the nectar)

I looked into bumblebee flight (of course, Uranus rules flight) and found out its left and right wings flap independently, making for a bumpy ride because the airflow created isn’t as streamlined as other bugs.

They fly in a sea of vortices surrounded by tiny eddies and whirlwinds that are created when they move their wings.

Bumbles buzz is created by the wing vibration in their flight.  (Uranus rules vibration and flight)

They have “adopted a brute force approach powered by a huge thorax and fuelled by energy-rich nectar.  The bumblebee is like a tanker-truck, its job is to transport nectar and pollen back to the hive.  Efficiency is unlikely to be important for that way of life.”

Ok.  So bees are Virgo and Mercury ruled (of course) because they harvest, gather and sort for oncoming winter.
But…seeing as how bumble flight is inefficient (soOo not Virgo), and rather turbo-charged (very, very Mars), I’m going with bumblebees being ruled by Mars and Mercury.  What do you think..?

Either way, bumble doesn’t care, bumble flies anyway !
(Now that is Uranian !)

…maybe I’ll re-name all my bumbles Herschel…seems like a good bumble name…dontcha think…?…

whispering

Some of the energies are a bit edgy lately, with squares and oppositions above us, so I’m going to concentrate on the good energies.  These are some tips on how people react to stress and how best to handle it.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
When dealing with fire element people (Aries, Leo, Sag) it is helpful to remember they can be quick to defend their position.  They are action-oriented and will fight if pressed.  Listen, and show them you are on the same team.
Earth people (Toro, Virgo, Cap) are ‘hands on’ and like to keep some measure of control.  So listen, and give them the tools they need to work it out for themselves.
Air people (Gems, Libras, Aquas) need to be heard, so listen, ask them to explain, reassure them you heard, understand their point, and will continue to listen if they need to talk.
Water people (Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces) need to know you care, that their feelings are safe with you.  They are good readers, so don’t try to hide anything, speak gently and be compassionate.
I know.
Hey baby, what’s your vibration ?
(heh. ok. maybe I won’t use that one.)
We are a recipe of energies when we are born, that’s our blueprint brew – our default setting.  What happens via transits and progressions are layers of growth due to new blends of energies being tossed into our default gumbo.  Over the years we stew and simmer through the richness of our life lessons until we become a wise sage.
To understand the elements, one must understand their vibrations, energy and octaves.
~~~~~~~
Pentacles = Earth      Cups = Water         Swords = Air      Wands = Fire
~~~~~~~
Earth signs are patient, practical, tied to the solid earth, the manifestors.
Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn
Water signs are the emotional, intuitive, secretive signs, the feelers.
Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces
Air signs are the communicators, thinkers, the intellectuals, the speakers.
Gemini, Libra, Aquarius
Fire signs are the energetic, passionate, courageous leaders, the inspiring.
Aries, Leo, Sagittarius
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Now here comes the fun bit:
Mercury is the planet of communication, thinking learning and sight.
The higher octave of Mercury is Uranus.  Knowing, intuition and clairvoyance.

Venus is the planet of personal love, touch and the cultured artist.
The higher octave of Venus is Neptune.  Divine love, inspired artist, psychometry.

Mars is the planet of personal will, destruction, outward energy.
The higher octave of Mars is Pluto. Divine will, rebirth after death, transformational inner energy.

All the signs and planets can express a high, or low vibration.

For instance, Low Neptune can be impractical, addictive, and escapist.
High Neptune, transcendent, compassionate and healing.

As energy rises in octaves it becomes faster, less dense… more free.

As sound and spoken word carry magical energy, so do thoughts for they are vibrations on a higher octave.
Bells clear energy in a room; thoughts of love, kindness and peace clear the mind.
