Yemaja is the Nigerian Goddess of flowing water, bringing luck and fertility – her name means fish mother, hence the net for luck during fishing season.
Brazilian goddess Iemanja is the spirit of the ocean, bringing foresight, divination and psychic abilities. Yemaya is the Yoruban Orisha, Goddess of the living ocean, source of all rivers. The amneotic fluid inside the mother’s womb is also a sea where the embryo must transform and evolve (through a form similar to a fish) before becoming a human baby, in this way, she is Mother of all.
James C. Lewis
Olokun is patron Orisa of the descendants of Africans that were abducted during the Transatlantic slave trade, aka The Middle Passage, or Maafa which means great disaster in Swahili. This Orisa’s name is dervived from Olo (owner) of Okun (oceans) and can be called on to assist with future visions and enduring hardships with patience and grace.
Olokun is patron of unfathomable knowing – spiritual quests across lifetimes, psychic abilities, dreaming, meditation, mental health and water based healing. Olokun is one of many Orisa known to help women that desire children.
Venus in Pisces
Venusian cups overflow in Pisces.
They are compassionate, genius artisans, sensitive to vibrations and highly intuitive.
Venus attracts – in this sign she attracts musicians, artists, poets and creators that spin their rich fantasy lives into magnificent manifestations on the material plane.
Venus in Pisces transcends, often through a painful process of separation from others.
Pisces naturally inclines to inclusiveness, leading the love sensitives to full immersion in murky waters of over-dependency or co-dependency. They attract mysterious mystical partners who tend to be elusive themselves.
Hopeful romantics seduced by ethereal beauty of people and lush experiences, Venus in Pisces is often the martyred patron saint of doomed relationships. They are born with rose-colored glasses, seeing love in everything and everyone – devastated if that love is not returned equally. Choice of partner is of the utmost importance for this Venus placement – for they will unconsciously absorb many qualities and traits of their partner.
This tendency to immersion experiences is the tipping point for many Venusians in this sign. Loss of boundaries and the incoming rush of feelings and vibrations from others is heady and intense, but often leads to a need to numb the senses when the noise outside of oneself becomes too overwhelming.
Here is where Venus in Pisces falls and rises like the tides with the feeling moon.
When seclusion is needed, silence craved, they can often mistake alcoholism, drugs, dependency on anything that stops the tidal flow of sensitivities as a good solution.
Tender psyche, feelings need poised reflection + boundaries set.
Forgiving others comes all too easily – devotion to forgiving oneself needs cultivation.
This placement of Venus also is known to have very strong angels guarding and protecting them throughout their lives.
When vibrating high qi – this placement of Venus is extremely compassionate towards all people, particularly the underdogs living in poverty without hope. Here, in Pisces, this Venus rises and shines brightly – the light bearer for the spiritual sun – they excel at helping those less fortunate, for they see the beauty and grace behind the eyes of all earthkind.
So…is it just me…or is life itself a tad bit incongruous of late ?
haaa eclipse mambo WoOoHOOo
I used to do framing here and there, once worked in a refurbished gristmill selling wildlife art. So very Saturnian, yes ?
Some folks love Kinkade, ‘painter of light’, bow-legged Amish stick figures, Caucasian looking American Indians – and I’m not one of them.
As you can imagine, I was happy to move on from that gig, I’m not such a good art liar with 8th house Leo Venus/Jupes in square to Neptuner. I would regularly get tossed questions on the value of wildlife prints and duck decoys which were so not my forte.
Hanging in my house was the wire helmet of an art school poet, Doug, who had worn it during a legendary performance art piece when he drank his own piss. The helmet was then handed off to a friend who created a paper sculpture with dripping flesh hanging from it in protest to a large chemical company moving into town.
So yeah, incongruous.
Part & parcel for Virgo Sun conjunct Uranus Pluto.
You get used to it. When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro.
So, on to the astro…
Cardinal Cross – starring Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn
Power Steering 2 eclipses here 15th & 29
April 14 Chicago 6:47pm
April 15 Cairo 11:45am
April 15 Wellington 1:45am
Seven hits of Uranus square Pluto as follows:
1. 06 2012 – Pluto Rx – 8 degrees
2. 09 2012 Uranus Rx – 6 degrees
3. 05 2013 Pluto Rx – 11 degrees
4. 11 2013 Uranus Rx – 9 degrees

6. 12 15 2014 Uranus Rx – 12 degrees
7. 03 17 2015 Both Direct – 15 degrees
Perfecting the square forces us to run the obstacle course in the houses they transit.
I love the switch hitting retrogrades leading up to the last meeting when both are fully operational, all pistons firing in the same direction.
I do so look forward to that.
Also of note – these eclipses are, as previously mentioned, happening in
BOTH are ruled by VENUS.
Another spin around the Rare Venus Occultation of June 2012 is advised.
That event happened June 5, these squares began shortly thereafter on the 24th.
Second, Venus is – as of today – in Pisces for this set of eclipses.
Venus is exalted in Pisces aka ringing like a love tuning fork – universal compassion, balance, justice, forgiveness, spiritual intelligence, inspired creativity, transcendent love.
Harmony is on the horizon – seemingly illogical quirks are required resets.
Relationship rules / roles are in a mystical metamorphosis phase.
Cardinals initiate – literally, initiate.
We’re surfing the probation/purgatory, student/teacher apprenticeship eclipse waves.
Learning curves incoming – be resilient, diligent, vigilant.
Show your QUALITY, the very highest.
peace & love
ps. Quality, ruled by Jupiter, is currently exalted in Cancer

I have loved Julian since Valotte, have written about him here at least twice before, but only just today* looked at his natal chart. Julian recently released Everything Changes, his first album since 1998. He is active in charity work including his own White Feather Foundation (named for something his father told him), he produced Whaledreamers, a doco about an aboriginal tribe in Australia and its special relationship to whales. (wiki)
My library has it, love it ! He has been making music and creating for 30+ years, if you want to start from the beginning, go to Hey Jules for all sorts of groovy backstories.
While snapping photos during a surprise visit on his brother (pictured above) Sean’s 2007 tour, Julian began to take photography more seriously. With encouragement from his friend, photographer Timothy White (see link above), Julian had his first, highly successful photography exhibition “Timeless” in NYC in 2010.
Timeless, (above) was taken while on tour with Sean. It most definitely speaks to my 12th house Sag Mars. . .traveling the open road at night. Obviously it speaks to Julian’s 12th house Aries/Jupiter as well. I love it !
I had to include Blue Moon, (below), yet another favorite of mine which had me dreaming in cerulean blue for several nights. Julian’s landscapes, particularly the clouds (Neptune rules, angular in 7th, strong) feel like gentle tides which build to a roar of surf – heady heartfelt moments of insight into our Mother Earth…powerfully, quietly taking care of business.
Prints of Julian’s collections are available here.
Love this pic of Julian below – composition, color + pop in a couple of mystical glyphs on a handsome fella and we’re good, people.
Rune: (Birch) Berkano, stillness, sanctuary, strength via rebirth – earth goddess
Jupiter: exploration, enthusiasm, optimism, truth, luck and growth
Some wingnut tried to rise my ire a coon’s age ago about Julian’s astro. I knew the minute I saw this pic he already knew his score.** Also, for the nutters out there pitching fits and smacking the term ‘illuminati’ (means enlightened, not the evol ) on everything symbolic, get a library card, try reading a few books please and thank you.
Julian is Aries Sun, born under a gibbous (nearly full; strong) Libra Moon. Exalted Aries Sun opposite Libra Moon is ego self vs the public persona (Moon). The desire for perfection, and the expectation of culmination must be balanced with the realization that compromise and co-operation is the way to highest potential. Strength through working and playing well with others is key.
Being at odds with how the public (moon) perceives him is a large undertaking in this lifetime – his Libra Moon (others) opposes Aries Sun (self) and **Jupiter on the high octane 0 degrees Aries point. He is dealing with 4 strong oppositions involving Sun, Moon and Venus. Creative expression is inherently a juggling act of awareness and compromised relationships with others. Collaboration, when sought, is likely very rewarding.
I mentioned Jupiter on the (Mars-ruled) Aries point – it is trine Mars in Leo which is powering his whole chart with creativity from the 5th – Mars also trines exalted Aries Sun. Independent risk-taking, single-minded goals, extreme sports, being a cheeky monkey (his words) are all power driven by the need to have fun, explore, achieve and move on to the next goal.
Anything on the Zero degrees Aries point is a huge outrush of that planetary energy – Jupiter here exponentially expands vibrations of teaching, philosophy, understanding, healing (12th) through actions.
I have already been on this like hair on ape – if you wanna climb on the comparison soapbox, I suggest you read this first.
Then find the door. Alllrighty then.
Julian has Venus (art, creativity) exalted and conjunct Chiron in Pisces in trine to Scorpio Neptune Rx. Obviously musically talented, creative and sensitive. (Moon is also in a Venus ruled sign, Libra)
Julian’s Neptune Rx (inspired music, photography) squares Saturn (work and father: also the energy at MC) …honestly the comparisons are old for me – but for him..? .sheesh.
Earlier this year I watched an interview segment where some idiot news hack inserted Beatles music throughout – infuriating – Julian has been recording his own music for 30 years. He deals with grace, (mostly) he was rightly pissed off re: the above, as was I.
As any good astrologer will tell you, the aspects do not define you – how you deal with the aspects aka energy – defines you.
Positive or negative/attract or repel, it is entirely up to you. Saturn/ Capricorn elevated with Mercury rising smack on ASC is a double-edged sword: constant comparisons of a child (Mercury) to his father (Saturn) but it is also profound patience and clever evasion tactics of same.
In addition, Saturn is in Aquarius and let’s face it, that can mean change-ups and separations with the father, who is likely a rebellious sort. It can also mean genius innovative work, switch hitting between diverse work interests, a strong humanitarian streak (see Whaledreamers) and a love of the earth and earthkind (see White Feather).
Julian is an Aries with a strong sense of self who can withstand all the goofy public opinions that have shadowed him. Jupiter in Aries also delivers faith in personal abilities. North Node in Cancer shows his path of nurturing, and growing into his own regarding feelings surrounding family. (see comments)
Julian has Pisces Venus conjunct Chiron (harmony, healing with women, relationships) opposite Uranus Rx / Pluto Rx conjunction in Virgo. That can signal not only a need for personal freedom, but also the need to give it to others. It signals perfectionism, or high standards (Uranus and Pluto are transpersonal) placed upon him (Venus is a personal planet) and his chosen art by others. Venus opposite Pluto Rx will bring life – long metamorphosis involving not only love and creativity, but also money, peace of mind. Read the wiki link above for the low-down on the money / will / heirloom trail; I am not going there, it irritates me he and his mother were treated this way.
Uranus is quintile (spiritual gifts) Neptune – this brings unusual Uranian style gifts, such as inspired musical talents, far out communication skills (betting on astral travel here), healing and compassion in addition to a well-spring of forgiveness. Julian has lived his life under scrutiny and handled it very well in my opinion.
Uranus is also trine Mercury in Aries – Julian is not only quicksilver smart – with octaves of communication trine one another – he KNOWS (Merc trine Uran) he is talented in his own right, he has just been waiting for everyone else to catch up.
Here is a photo which elegantly represents the hands of a sensitive artist. Conic fingertips denote a spiritual, artistic, sensitive creator. Gemini on the second equals lovely hands and a lively creative mind.
Head over to his instagram here if you are wondering what he’s looking at, he also pops into his fb account fairly regularly, look him up !
Yesterday Julian released a fantastic app that is worth every penny of $12 and then some – get it on his website here.
Love your work, Julian. xo
This one is dedicated to a billion Aqua Full MooOon children rolled into ONE.
I’ll pop one of the freshies in comments.
Venus in Pisces people believe wholeheartedly in the power of love, they are the compassionate love sponges of the zodiac. Venus is exalted in Pisces, her engine positively puuurrrs in the sign of divine love. The higher octave of Venus (cultivated artist) is Neptune (inspired artist) which rules Pisces, making this Venus placement particularly good for creative artists of all kinds.
Pisces Venus is kind, loving, empathetic, charitable, forgiving and intuitive. Daydreams, deep sleep states and hi qi imaginations 24/8 are the fantastic realms of this deep sea Venus. She is highly sensitive, emotional and capable of picking up your vibe through the atmo between you. Psychic feelers are strong in Pisces, and this Venus needs to be surrounded by beauty, love and ultimate harmony in order to function best.
This is a sentimental Venus, expressing love comes naturally to them so they tend to take up for the downtrodden and mistreated, having felt what suffering and sacrifice is themselves. Pisces Venus loves to blur the boundaries and lines, they crave a partnership blending that goes deeper than most – inclusiveness means sharing lives on all cosmic dimensions.
Often the downfall of Pisces Venus is the lack of firm boundaries, and a reliance on addictions that help dull the pain of feeling everything around them. They need to guard against hiding behind the smoke and mirrors of evasion, and often – flat out deceit.
Pisces is a slippery fish that is hard to catch, Venus (rules Libran scales of balance) in this sign may indicate an inability to settle with a partner due to indecision. When using their off the scale imaginations in order to cultivate a more structured, realistic – yet artistic – world they are formidable creators and the most forgiving, passionately inspired lovers.

Full Moon in Virgo 2:26pm (7 degrees)
Venus into Pisces 8:03pm
Wheels turn and changes are upon us…
Apologies for being late with this – I was having a bit of a breakdown breakthrough transit myself. Two Toro Moons opposite Saturn (my ruler, nearly Rx) with Pluto coming and going. Tower card showed up a couple of times, fun weekend.
So on to what’s up in a nutshell…
Sun into Pisces is a dream paradise vacation in the la la land of mystics, soothsayers, inspired artists of all kinds, healing, vivid dreamscapes – both waking and sleeping.
Pisces have such a lovely energy … they are sensitive, compassionate – thinking in terms of inclusiveness and cosmic consciousness.
Negative people and energies can be toxic to the Pisces psyche. They are sponges picking up vibrations of whatever is around them; one reason they – more than any other zodiac sign – need to cultivate friendships with hi qi sensitives like themselves. Spiritual intelligence is strong with Pisces Suns, they are transcenders who are highly intuitive, and sacrifice for the greater good. [ Low qi Pisces can be delusional, escapist, impractical, prone to addictions, timid and deceptive.]
Saturn Rx brings inner revisions of structures, achievements, goals and responsibilities; in Scorpio, Saturn Rx delivers re-working and transforming the power that drives the building. Saturn likes it lean and clean – Scorp house is keen to formulate re-birth.
Saturn Rx in Scorp is also an aspect of re-defining relationships – with authority and men, particularly older men, or fathers. note: Saturn is re-applying to an exact sextile with Pluto in Cap – mutual reception with metamorphic Pluto – take the opportunity presented – transformation and metamorphosis is imminent and supremely supported re: the above – count on it.
Mercury Rx in Pisces is primo for subconscious revisions of how we flow through our lives and perceive and relate with the cosmic ALL ONE. Mercury is thinking, messages, communication, perceptions and self-expression of all kinds. Mercury Rx in Pisces spins a fantastic tale of the ultimate spiritual quest in the final frontier – our minds.
Oy – in tandem with Saturn Rx in Scorp the house of the unseen mysteries – honey we are going deep sea diving in the SUBsubconscious … this oughta be good.
Full Moon in Virgo has our feelings in opposition to a googob of Pisces: Neptune, Sun, Chiron, Mars and Mercury Rx (re-applying conjunction to them all). In addition, Moon at 7 is opposite Sun at 7 – both in square to Jupiter in Gemini at 7 degrees.
::: any planet near 7 degrees (+/- 5 degrees) you will be feeling this Moon ! :::
That makes ginormous thinking / chattering Gemini Jupiter the focal point of the superhighway Lunar information glut. haha lucky Jupiter makes me visualize cloverleafs on the freeway…
What do I mean by that ?
Full Moon saturation illuminates Mercury-ruled Virgo house – information and messages are most certainly incoming to all Virgos – and Virgo sorts by nature. Pisces Sun absorbs and Gemini is the revolving door of factoids.
Mercury Rx on the 23rd, Full Moon on the 25th means the brainpan is shifting and popping – times near stations are often bumpy. Keep in mind – Mercury is dualities, rules Gemini and Virgo.
Note: Uranus (polarities) is quincunx Moon just prior to Full, so expect a weird emotional message to pop in re: actions, men or powershifts that will change your thinking and emotions revolving around some long-standing structures.
Also note: Pisces 19 degree Mercury Rx re-applying to 18 degree Mars puts them in trine to 19 degrees North Node of Destiny in Scorpio as Saturn Rx retreats from a conjunction to NNode. Authority, an older figure or crumbling structure of some kind retreats to lick its wounds via a re-applying trine to Chiron, Sun and Neptune in Pisces.
It is meant to be…go re-read Saturn Rx if it freaks you out.
We will feel Full Moon emotional tug of war / peace talks in these areas:
what we think / how we perceive
how we act upon it / how others react to us
are we healing / inspiring to ourselves and others
what does our spirit desire / what is our life work – are they compatible
May the force be with you
Such a lovely man with so much heart and soul. I have been thinking of him today. Mars, Pluto, Marvin and Music. I own his box set – gonna give it a go here soon.
Marvin was a 12 degree Aries Sun, Mercury combust, Saturn at 19 Aries.
Saturn is debilitated in Aries, and Mercury is weakened by such a close degree to Sun. Combust means the solar rays overpower the Mercurial judgement and the ego is given free rein over intellect.
This debilitated conjunction squares both his 29 degree Cancer Pluto and also his Mars in Capricorn. Mars in Capricorn is steeping in Saturn already and in square to the Sun Saturn conjunction that can mean conflict and restriction of actions, and aggravation with authority or the father because of it. (Sun and Saturn in the natal chart signify the father, males and authority.)
Pluto in the last degree of Cancer is a completion degree and is fully cooked – so to speak – in the lunar, feeling landscape of home and family. If you read my last post, you know wherever Pluto lands in the natal you will undergo tremendous changes and it is the pressure cooker point in your chart. In Marvin’s case – Pluto in Cancer means trouble with family. Marvin suffered failed relationships with women, battled depression and drug addiction and made several suicide attempts.
The day before Marvin would have turned 45, his father accidentally shot and killed him. Marvin was trying to break up a fight between his parents over legal documents.
Saturn (father) in Aries (Mars ruled- weapon) square Pluto (death).
Listen to the lyrics in the song below for a chilling prophetic line..
Let’s leave that sad story and concentrate on his music.
It is worthy of celebration, Marvin was fantastic.
Marvin began his career in 1958, scoring his first big hit in 1963 with Pride and Joy.
He has had countless hits, recorded with the greats throughout his career. Marvin had Venus in Pisces (exalted) quintile (spiritual gifts) Uranus in Venus – ruled Libra. Groundbreaking art forms for sure. He also had Uranus quintile Pluto in Cancer and you can hear the soul pouring out in his songs.
I love that he had North Node in Scorpio trine Chiron in Cancer.
rest in peace Marvin…
I have been aware of David Wilcock for years, through Coast-to-Coast radio and information and interviews there. I have watched many YouTube videos, read parts of his website Divine Cosmos.
I am now reading his book, The Source Field Investigations. David has spent years investigating and compiling scientific proof of connections between life forms through the energetic ‘source field’ or unified field theory.
A bit of history : Albert Einstein coined the term “Unified Field Theory,” which describes any attempt to unify the fundamental forces of physics between elementary particles into a single theoretical framework.
Scientists such as Rupert Sheldrake are delving into, and expanding upon similar scientific work today. The topic of morphic resonance (Sheldrakes work) is covered in David’s compilation of researched material, as well as some fascinating studies on human interaction with plants, crop circles, UFO’s and remote viewing. It is definitely worth a read simply because David has gathered loads of spiritual scientific studies all in one book.
Reportedly David may be the re-incarnation of Edgar Cayce. I do not support nor deny this claim – you can make up your own mind. I am a disseminating moon – just tossing out the info – that’s what I do. Other astrologers have compared the two charts and you can read my interpretation of Edgars natal here.
So now for David and his natal chart.
David is a life path 4. He is here to employ logic and reason in order to build solid foundations, establish structure and achieve results on the physical plane.
This is further indicated by Mars exalted in Earth, trine Moon, also exalted in earth.
This indicates detailed, long-term, meticulous building for the public good. Moon in 6th (natural ruler of the 6th, is Virgo the public servant).
Mars exalted conjunct North Node of Destiny in Capricorn, both of which are trine Moon (public). His work is to be heard by and benefit, many people.
David is a Pisces Sun, Venus (Venus is exalted in Pisces) and Mercury.
This indicates sensitivity, also indicated by Moon in Taurus, exalted.
Pluto is elevated (10th), as well as Uranus and Saturn (above the horizon) – he is here to transform, and make changes through his work, otherwise, he is fairly private.
Venus is the focal point of his T-Square with Saturn and Neptune opposite each other. Working globally for universal love and compassion will likely be his strength rather than working for it on a personal basis. Venus is personal love – square work and mysticism – Saturn in Gemini 7th, indicates work relationships and often 2 or more jobs. He is a busy fellow, who likes work and study.
Chart ruler, Pluto in Libra 10 conjunct Part of Fortune he is a catalyst for change, particularly focusing on communication with others. Mercury is quintile North Node of Destiny – Jupiter the planet of exploration and expansion (traditional ruler of Pisces) is in Aquarius (the revolutionary) quintile Ascendant and Chiron – healing on a vast scale through transforming the way people think and communicate with one another.
Saturn in Gemini again, gives depth and structure to communication – David invites us to open our minds and heal ourselves through using the creative will of our own actions (Neptune trine Chiron). He is a leader in the spiritual realm – seeking enlightenment, and compassionate inclusiveness between all beings.
Well, now that I have read Davids chart, I am seeing the possibilities of the past life connections with Edgar. Edgar had Mars and Jupiter conjunct in Capricorn – he basically did so many one-on-one energy draining readings, he worked himself to death.
In Davids chart, Pluto trine Jupiter indicates transformation on a large scale (rather than on an individual basis). He gets a lot of criticism (Pluto opposite Mercury) because he’s shaking the tree, making people think (Mercury sextile Jupiter in 3rd).
Saturn trine Uranus in the 11th of Libra, he is communicating options – a way of revolutionizing the way we (earthkind) express and view love for each other and the earth (Venus sextile Moon exalted in earthy Taurus, Venus rules Libra) and he delivers the science (Uranus trine Saturn) to back it up.
Mars exalted in Earth trine Moon, also exalted in earth – detailed, long-term, meticulous building for the public good. Moon in 6th (natural ruler of the 6th, is Virgo the public servant).
Now that I have read both charts, I think David may be Edgar, back for another round…if so, he’s certainly here to work in communications large scale and reach a larger audience this time around.
I am also off to read more closely the link I gave above comparing the 2 charts – I held off until I had read them myself.
What do you think …?
