I love watching Richard chew Middle Earth scenery – a commanding, Kingly presence indeed – authoritative voice, confident swagger that is Leo incarnate. 

Richard is a late degree Leo Sun conjunct Venus (within a degree).  Sun in the sign it rules, tightly conjunct Venus is creatively beneficial – attracting those who stand apart, are willpowered, fun and expressive.  Leo Sun/Venus is an affectionate combo, very generous, eager to play and have fun, but also demands its due – in respect as well as love. 

Courageous Leo loves camaraderie, happily shares the wealth of spirit inherent to house of Sun; Virgo Moon is more reticent to take the spotlight, preferring to work quietly, diligently on the craft.  Moon in Virgo needs intellectual feeding to feel emotionally satisfied, further highlighted by Mercury in house.

Mental gymnastics feed the creative prowess, leading to focused self-expression.  Practicality meets perfectionism, versatility bred by sensing sacred patterns, making connections.  Clever emotional weaving of worlds holds court, thoughts pave the road to success, solving the restless tension via Mercury (tightest focal, see below) is key.

Sun/Venus Leo is very giving/heartfelt, full of hope.  If they do not receive in kind, they are forgiving, but their pride takes a hit and their light dims. (Sun rules Leo.)  I mention this as Richard has a rolling (out of sign) stellium with Venus/Sun/Mercury collectively serving as joint focal points in a T-Square.

Squares indicate personal metamorphosis, internal obstacles leading to massive growth.  T-Square focal points are a funnel for expression.  See Bruce Lee.  Sun/Venus in late Leo shows creative expression is of incredible importance to him; Virgo Mercury as focal highlights intellectual dexterity, high qi analyzation of ideas and the reasoning behind them.

Richard’s Venus/Sun/Mercury are rolling focals square both Saturn and Jupiter/Neptune indicating intense focus on art, work, diplomacy and life philosophies.  Think/see/learn/desire/analyze are all getting the workout – squares keep the road hot because we want to scratch the itch of friction.

Communicating depth perception (Saturn/restriction) breathes full flexibility into the house of Gemini, which craves nuance and information exchange.  Expression is crucial to breaking he crystallizations of Saturn – house Gemini loves change while Saturn does not – best bet is to find the balance and work it.

Leo Venus in exact square to Scorpio Neptune indicates high qi awareness/creativity when channeled correctly, low qi delusion/obsession when living in shadow.  Hard aspects between Venus and Neptune are the hallmark of a creative, sensitive soul – octaves of artistic expression working together.  Late Leo Sun conjunct Venus further highlights this strength.

Also of note is the similarity/individual nuances between Richard and Martin Freeman (Bilbo) who were both born in the UK within a month of each other.  Their charts are similar (esp. the outer planets) but the inner planets determine personal expression, hence only a wide similarity. House placements will also determine much that I am unable to tell without the exact time of birth.  I have done a solar chart (Noon) for both men.  If you would like to compare, Martin’s chart interp is here.

Similarities include Mars conjunct North Node in trine to Uranus, and a Grand Air Trine (communication) but Richard has a much tighter conjunction between Mars and North Node of Destiny by less than a degree.  Uranus trine Saturn trine Mars/NNode circulates social/generational stream of consciousness  ideas – while driving action to change.

Richard has Mars quintile (gifts, talents) Neptune indicating a love of music, film, as well as plenty of peace and quiet to let the mind wander and relax.  Hiking and getting right with nature is a great work/stress reducer.

A journey across the stars and heavens through antiquated astronomical diagrams.

I unearthed some dusty old scientific textbooks in my father’s attic, and immediately became inspired by the delicately rendered diagrams, plots and schemata. These purely scientific visual aids became unwitting artworks on their own, which is something I really loved.

May I introduce Sir Ian McKellen. 

Sir Ian Murray McKellen, CH, CBE *  is an English actor. He has won multiple Laurence Olivier Awards, a Tony Award, two Academy Award nominations, and five Emmy Award nominations. His work has spanned genres from Shakespearean and modern theatre to popular fantasy and science fiction. He is known for film roles such as Gandalf in the Lord of the Rings  film trilogy, Magneto in the X-Men  films, and as Sir Leigh Teabing in The Da Vinci Code.

McKellen was made a * Commander of the Order of the British Empire in 1979, was knighted in 1991 for services to the performing arts,and was made a * Companion of Honour for services to drama and to equality, in the 2008 New Year Honours. (wiki)

I will start by saying Sir Ian is so sweet and kind, with a Gemini twinkle in his eye, quite a lovely flirt, really.  He’s fabulous — so fabulous I named my singing toad after him.  Yes, I knighted my toad !  Sir Toadie was recorded in one of the most acoustically perfect halls in the country. true story.  I knew when eclipse toad showed up good things were coming … Sir Ian is a May 25th Gemini, so I am writing & posting tonight – he is in the future in New Zealand and I want this up for his solar return YaY !

Ian is a Gemini Sun, Virgo Moon, Sagittarius rising, making Jupiter his chart ruler.
  Aries Jupiter (is Mars powered) is in the 3rd (communication) house trine 29 degree (culmination degree) Pluto in Cancer, 8th house. Pluto (inner energy, transformative experiences) rules the 8th, is strong, yet fluctuating (Moon ruled house, opposite Mars).

Gemini Sun trines Mars in Aquarius, making Ian a revolutionary (Aquarius) communicator through art and film (Mars trine Neptune at mid-heaven).

Pluto and Mars (Mars is most highly aspected, strong) both square Venus in Taurus, and are opposite each other, which forms a T-Square with Venus as the focal planet.  Venus, the planet of art, love and money is strong in Taurus, the sign it rules.  Venus as focal planet, means it will be forced to metamorph the very powerful energies of Mars and Pluto into artwork, beauty and works of love.

Pluto points to a strong desire nature with opposition to Mars (outward bound energies) in Aquarius, as well as the square (inner tension) to Venus in possessive Taurus.  Pluto in the last degree of Moon-ruled Cancer is a nod to the metamorphic effect Ian has on the public (Moon rules public), through his natural ability to teach and lead by example (Virgo 9th house) through the arts (Neptune [rules film, inspired art] at mid-heaven) and film.

I find it interesting that outward bound Mars is in a sign of polarities (Aquarius), Plutonian inner power is fluctuating in Cancer, and Ian has Mercury (dual perceptions) conjunct Uranus (polarities, magnetics) in artistic Taurus.  Ian is very adept at seeing both sides of any given situation.  He uses this instinctual observation, this intuitive sense (Taurus rules the senses) of dualities to in turn enrich his portrayal of character.

May I introduce singer, songwriter, poet and actor John Doe.
He has appeared in over 50 films and television productions, with some of his most notable roles in Road House, Georgia, Roadside Prophets, Great Balls of Fire, Pure Country and Roswell.  Long list here.

He founded the LA punk band X, soon after he met Exene Cervenka at the Venice, California poetry workshop in 1976.  X released 7 records from 78-93, the documentary of the life of their band The Unheard Music  was included in the Sundance UCLA Archive of greatest films of all time.  X is still actively touring today – they open for Pearl Jam in June in Europe.

John has recorded more than a half dozen albums as a soloist or in collaboration with other artists, such as Patti Griffin, Aimee Mann, Eddie Vedder and many more.  The video above features Cindy Wasserman and Dave Carpenter.  I am pleased to tell you a bit about the astro behind this amazingly talented man.

John is a life path 1, this is a life of innovation, vital potential, he is a creative pioneer.

Mars conjunct Moon gives the feelings (Moon) a kick start energy expression – though the moon fluctuates by nature- this energy may come and go in waves with the cycles of the Moon.  Mars fires up the emotions, this aspect can be a spitfire, half-cocked, impulsive type of energy, with the emotions leading rather than the mind.  This aspect is best relieved by physical labor or creative pursuits.

John soaks up (Pisces feels the vibes) all he SEES  (Sagittarius motto) and feels (Moon) while he travels (Moon and Mars in Sag) near and far…everything is an opportunity to create beauty through words, music and film.

This Pisces conjunction squares John’s Moon / Mars conjunction in Sagittarius; it also squares Jupiter in Gemini which oppose each other, forming a t-square with Venus as the focal planet.  The focal planet becomes the driving energy that needs expressing, it is where the T-square aspect feels the most tension.

Artistic Venus also is trine Saturn in Scorpio and Uranus in Cancer.  Saturn in Scorpio is a powerful placement for achieving deep seated goals that require patience and endurance.  It can easily be crafted into punk, it is an aspect of USING (Capricorn motto – Saturn rules) DESIRES (Scorpio motto) to create art. Uranus in Moon-ruled Cancer gives an unusual approach to expressing feelings and creating art – instantaneous inspirations are often rising up from the subconscious, giving insight, directions in creativity.

Libra Neptune is trine Gemini Jupiter, again the expansion of ideas and communicating them in easy energy to brainstorming artwork and finding personal balance through expressing the creative self.

Recent events have turned my focus on Chiron in the natal chart.

The chart for the time Chiron was discovered (October 18,1977) reveals a conjunction between the Moon’s North Node and Pluto in Libra (14 degrees) and also a conjunction between Mercury and Sun in Libra (24 degrees).
Venus is also placed in Libra (1 degree) which it rules. Chiron’s placement is in Taurus (3 degrees) which, like Libra, is ruled by Venus.  source
 
In greek mythology, Chiron was the son of Kronos (Saturn/ time) and Philyra (nymph daughter of Oceanus) who was abandoned at birth by his parents.  Apollo (God of the Sun) became Chiron’s foster father, teaching him how to cultivate the creative spirit through music, divination, and the healing arts. 

Chiron became mentor to many Greek heroes including Jason, Achilles and Hercules teaching them archery, ethics, and herbal medicine. Chiron was accidentally shot by one of Hercules’ poisoned arrows.  Being a demi-god who could not die, he searched endlessly for a cure – accumulating vast knowledge in the healing arts in his search.  

In a final bid to relieve his endless suffering, Chiron ends his life by exchanging places with Prometheus, who was chained to a rock and tortured for delivering fire to humans. Chiron was later immortalized in the constellation Centaurus.  Chiron is known as the wounded healer.  In the natal chart Chiron indicates where you suffer, but also where you heal through service to others.

Planetoid Chiron was discovered in between Saturn (time/ authority) and Uranus (rebellion/ freedom) and points to unconventional progress through finding union and workable solutions between seemingly disparate goals.

When reading Chiron in the natal, focus on this:
USE what you KNOW you HAVE to find BALANCE.
(Saturn, Uranus, Venus rules Taurus and Libra.)

Consider Chiron the energy bridge between the tools (Saturn) and divine intuition (Uranus).  It is preparation meets opportunity.  Chiron is the hopeful (Centaurian) risk – the gamble on love, harmony and union – faith in spiritual balance on the highest level. (Saturn is exalted in Libra)

If we USE Chiron’s vibration properly – the highest vibration of personal love (Venus  rules personal love) transcends into Neptune, DIVINE love, and healing of the spirit body which is eternal.

Energy is energy ~> conduit <~ the healer is also healed.

The vibration of Chiron is peace of mind in the physical Taurean body, and love and balance in the intellectual actions and relations with others – Venus.
Venus shares.  Venus pays it forward.
The centaur Chiron (like Sagittarius) expands the horizons, forms new philosophies and is both teacher and eternal student. Chiron is a wandering maverick, a loner who brings an awakening to – and a bridge between opposites.

Venus in Gemini was the focal point of the recent T-Square, which also involved Mars Rx in Virgo and Neptune in Pisces. Venus (exalted in Pisces) was activating Neptune (which is conjunct Chiron in Pisces), soOo Earthkind received a massive influx of Venusian Full Moon Chironic energies the last few days straight from Chiron’s 8th house – enter Plutonic regeneration !   Yowsa !

My Chiron is in late Pisces. Gemini is not a big player in my chart, but Mercury is.
Virgo stellium and my biggie Neptune square to Venus/Jupiter were also tapped in the last few days. I have felt a very interesting vibe since the moon was full to say the least.  a cha cha

Look to Chiron in your natal and see what rules that house. Where is that planet and what it is aspecting ? That’s your KEY to HEALING.

Clues: Is it in fire, earth, air or water ? Is your KEY cardinal, fixed or mutable ?

Look also to Venus for what you HAVE that will bring BALANCE. 

Look to Saturn, where it lives and what it aspects to find your TOOLS and how to USE them. 

Look to Uranus for the REVOLUTIONARY SOLUTION.

Remember that squares are internal hurdles to healing.  Oppositions are where you have to compromise with others.  Trines and sextiles are your way out – the support group, so to speak.  Trines are an easy pre-existing energy – but you have to activate it.  Sextiles are opportunities you have to go fetch – you have to introduce the planets to each other in order to establish an energetic relationship between them.

Deja Vu

I have been aware of David Wilcock for years, through Coast-to-Coast radio and information and interviews there.  I have watched many YouTube videos, read parts of his website Divine Cosmos.
I am now reading his book, The Source Field Investigations.  David has spent years investigating and compiling scientific proof of connections between life forms through the energetic ‘source field’ or unified field theory.

A bit of history : Albert Einstein coined the term “Unified Field Theory,” which describes any attempt to unify the fundamental forces of physics between elementary particles into a single theoretical framework.

Scientists such as Rupert Sheldrake are delving into, and expanding upon similar scientific work today. The topic of morphic resonance (Sheldrakes work) is covered in David’s compilation of researched material, as well as some fascinating studies on human interaction with plants, crop circles, UFO’s and remote viewing.  It is definitely worth a read simply because David has gathered loads of spiritual scientific studies all in one book.

Reportedly David may be the re-incarnation of Edgar Cayce.  I do not support nor deny this claim – you can make up your own mind.  I am a disseminating moon – just tossing out the info – that’s what I do.  Other astrologers have compared the two charts and you can read my interpretation of Edgars natal here.

So now for David and his natal chart.

David is a life path 4.  He is here to employ logic and reason in order to build solid foundations, establish structure and achieve results on the physical plane.

This is further indicated by Mars exalted in Earth, trine Moon, also exalted in earth.
This indicates detailed, long-term, meticulous building for the public good.  Moon in 6th (natural ruler of the 6th, is Virgo the public servant).

Mars exalted conjunct North Node of Destiny in Capricorn, both of which are trine Moon (public).  His work is to be heard by and benefit, many people.

David is a Pisces Sun, Venus (Venus is exalted in Pisces) and Mercury.
This indicates sensitivity, also indicated by Moon in Taurus, exalted.
Pluto is elevated (10th), as well as Uranus and Saturn (above the horizon) – he is here to transform, and make changes through his work, otherwise, he is fairly private.

Venus is the focal point of his T-Square with Saturn and Neptune opposite each other.  Working globally for universal love and compassion will likely be his strength rather than working for it on a personal basis.  Venus is personal love – square work and mysticism – Saturn in Gemini 7th, indicates work relationships and often 2 or more jobs. He is a busy fellow, who likes work and study.

Chart ruler, Pluto in Libra 10 conjunct Part of Fortune he is a catalyst for change, particularly focusing on communication with others.  Mercury is quintile North Node of Destiny – Jupiter the planet of exploration and expansion (traditional ruler of Pisces) is in Aquarius (the revolutionary) quintile Ascendant and Chiron – healing on a vast scale through transforming the way people think and communicate with one another.

Saturn in Gemini again, gives depth and structure to communication – David invites us to open our minds and heal ourselves through using the creative will of our own actions (Neptune trine Chiron).  He is a leader in the spiritual realm – seeking enlightenment, and compassionate inclusiveness between all beings.

Well, now that I have read Davids chart, I am seeing the possibilities of the past life connections with Edgar.  Edgar had Mars and Jupiter conjunct in Capricorn – he basically did so many one-on-one energy draining readings, he worked himself to death.

In Davids chart, Pluto trine Jupiter indicates transformation on a large scale (rather than on an individual basis).  He gets a lot of criticism (Pluto opposite Mercury) because he’s shaking the tree, making people think (Mercury sextile Jupiter in 3rd).

Saturn trine Uranus in the 11th of Libra, he is communicating options – a way of revolutionizing the way we (earthkind) express and view love for each other and the earth (Venus sextile Moon exalted in earthy Taurus, Venus rules Libra) and he delivers the science (Uranus trine Saturn) to back it up.

Mars exalted in Earth trine Moon, also exalted in earth –  detailed, long-term, meticulous building for the public good.  Moon in 6th (natural ruler of the 6th, is Virgo the public servant).

Now that I have read both charts, I think David may be Edgar, back for another round…if so, he’s certainly here to work in communications large scale and reach a larger audience this time around.
I am also off to read more closely the link I gave above comparing the 2 charts – I held off until I had read them myself.
