Life on Mars

Eerie skies and drought grass turned my whole world golden tonight.  
It felt like life on Mars…even my cappuccino cream cat turned golden in the light.

The fall blooming clematis vine you see here at the bottom is about the only thing growing in my yard, except for my garden, which I am watering.  My gardener freak father gave me cuttings from his clematis years ago, and it now covers nearly my entire chain link fence.

I have promised myself I would go to bed early tonight.  Wouldn’t lay bets on that, though.  The Mars / Saturn conjunction in Libra above us is activating my natal Mercury.  Mars trines Saturn in my natal and my progressed Mars is exalted (and conjunct Moon – so I feel like working)  in Capricorn.

Mercury energies are buzzing and setting off buzzers – the change – up in energies around stations are always more keenly felt !  Mercury will then begin closing a trine to Uranus Rx – you have mail !

Who knows what, though ?!?  Uranus Rx is a total and I do mean total wildcard.
Things are about to get really interesting !

T- square tension lives in your Cardinal signs: Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn.  Any planets between 3-13 degrees are going to be feeling the heat.  Metamorph baby !
Venus will feel better to early Scorps, less so for early Libra.

Leo Mercury will station direct in trine to North Node of Destiny in Sagittarius also at one degree ( N Node is nearly into Scorp ! ).  
Fire much, lol !?
Early Sagittarius is a sweet spot for talking/ thinking it out, while early Scorp planets will begin to feel the communications get tense.

All this while Mars is conjunct Saturn.

How bizarre is THAT ? ! 
Uranus is in freaky flux and I find these modified pimp my Stripper Stilettos ?!
They are mixed media, “absurd fake cake” sculptures with spikes & teeth !
Strangely appealing to my 11th house Neptune square Venus/Jupes in Leo.     

My giant Neptuner (most aspected) in Scorpio doesn’t give a wing-ding about shoes. (Pisces,12th and Neptune rule feet)  My utilitarian style tends towards black lace-up boots & stealth converse.  I do have some light up flip-flops, yeah I know, woo woo.

These remind me of the time years ago…I was at the state fair wandering around on a muggy night after a Def Leppard show, I saw an enormous sterling silver biker ring, hands clasped – when I opened it a giant silver boner popped out – omg I laughed so hard !   I was unexpectedly embarrassed and got all tongue tied – the carny was getting a kick out of watching me squirm.  It was so completely unexpected and beyond ridiculous, I loved it !  
So bizarre. 
So Scorpio.

Mars into Libra drives to amp up all things beautiful, and creative as well as $$$ until the 23 of August when Mars enters Scorpio.

Balance will found by taking creative action.  Mars gets a flavor of steady work here in the sign of balance where Saturn is exalted.  Everything deemed unnecessary while Mars was in Virgo is packed up – now we sell or beautify what remains.

This is a time to align actions of self-care with those of caring for others in our lives.  Mars in Libra will tip the scales of balance in order to take charge – balance and diplomacy must be cultivated.  This could get interesting as Mars enters Libra and immediately begins to move into an opposition with Uranus and a square to Pluto.

Outward power, meet inward power, meet surprises.

Mars also moves into Libra and trines bigtime creativity – Jupiter conjunct Venus !

Let’s make Mars in Libra the trash to treasure transit + Bonus Points + if your  treasure lights up or is electric somehow, or is something kooky, but useful.  It has to be plutonic or trash  of some kind, broken or abandoned or whatever. 

Like : Finish that poem you started years ago or take a favorite quote and paint it on something – make those blue jean squares into a camping blanket, cut up those pictures and make a collage. I save all my candle wax, re-melt it to make new ones.  See what I mean ..?

OOo fun !  Mars loves a good competition – who’s in ?  Just like combing the junkyard in art school searching for some unknown weird ‘thigamajig’ that became the seed of the brilliant sculptural art piece.  I am totally going for it, join me if you like !

Mars will power into Libra and immediately form a trine with Jupiter and Venus in Gemini – think artistically, creatively !  Personally there must be something to re-purpose in your surrounds, and globally practically every corner has something that could use a good metamorphosis, yes ?  Let’s brainstorm solutions and fix things !

Moon Dance

The Full Moon in Cap will be activating my 5th and 11th solar houses, and it seems I am going to involve others in inventing creative solutions re: USE of STUFF. 

Full Moon will bring information in your house of Capricorn, from the opposite house of Cancer (home) this will be a reveal, about work or public persona.  Look for what house your Capricorn falls on, and see what that house rules, that will likely be the nature of your news.   Moon will pass over Pluto before Full, so feelings may hit a speed bump, desires may spike for good or ill – fair warning – breathe deep, clearly and calmly communicate your intent and keep moving the energies along.

The Full Moon conjunct Pluto will be the focal point of one T-square with Mars and Uranus.  Uranus will be the focal point of the other T-square with The Full Moon conjunct Pluto, and Sun.

In a nutshell : that’s power, feelings, surprise, and revelation – so pack your zen, just in case.

Of course see the houses of Scorpio and Pisces for your opportunities arising.

Look to the houses of Virgo and Taurus for your benefits  and energies you can more easily draw upon to relieve the squares.

aka: Get creative with the mood swings, bob and weave. 

Uranus in gung ho to go Aries is focal point of a T-Square with touchie – feelie Cancer Sun and rigid Capricorn Pluto.  Mercury advances to late Cancer and is awash with angsty mental gymnastics as we hash out Venus and Saturn retro.

Be cranky or be creative ? ! ?
 Libra serves up prime grade A choice once again.  Sun trines Saturn Rx while it opposes Pluto in Cap – no the work is not perfect, just show up and do it anyway, let the chips fall where they may.  Mars in Virgo trines Jupiter in Gemini – keep the dialogue moving and open < ~ > the road is hot !

I have been giving all my head space to Uranus Pluto since they conjunct Sun in my natal, then the universe steps in …pssst… Neptune is your biggie, ya know, and Venus is squashed between the other 2 in progs.  Venus and Neptune don’t vibe well in my natal either, and the screws are turning. 

Neptune and Venus Retro are squaring up now, for all of us.  Luckily they do so in mutables, so we can adapt and change easier.  Venus is nearing Jupes by retrograde as well, and that is beneficial if not more than a little scattered in Gemini. 

Heads up for your messages from the past…just remember Venus stations direct at 7 degrees on the 27th – don’t expect real clarity  until it is out of shadow at 24 degrees of Gemini.
