God: Lugh  God of Light, the Harvest, All – Skills, August festival Lughnasa is in his honor.
Goddess: Brigit   Goddess of the fires of inspiration, healing, divination and smithing.
Lugh and Brigit are patrons of arts and crafts.

Blackberry fruit contain vast amounts of anthocyanocides, which are found in the pigment that gives the berries their color. Anthocyanocides are powerful antioxidants that help to reverse cell damage caused by free radicals, and are reported to be instrumental in preventing heart disease, cancer and strokes.

Blackberries can be used as an astringent or tonic: infusing the leaves in warm water will help rid the kidneys of stones, the fruit is good for the the gastrointestinal tract, and the root has strong astringent properties.

The blackberry stimulates and awakens love and sweetness.

The thorns and brambles of this plant teach that patience and persistence will eventually bear sweet fruit.  Blackberry enhances forgiveness that comes over time and with loving efforts. 

Blackberry is very helpful to enhance quieter states of meditation, it calms the anxious mind and teaches a patient path to enlightenment.  It also counteracts the Libran tendency towards indecision and procrastination. It increases the formation of goals into action via willpower.

The 3rd, Manipura, (solar plexus) chakra is strengthened, along with the bladder.

When there is any difficulty with the planet Saturn, even if it is only a hard aspect with the fast-moving moon, blackberry will help.

The blackberry helps to increase patience, and it eases the onset of age on the physical plane, while also enhancing the spiritual and astral bodies.

My biggie Neptune (sea) square Venus (art) in Leo (creativity) really digs this !
My Neptune is also opposite Moon, (Neptune= ocean, Moon= tides) so oceanic art is right up my alley ~> Sculptural art placed in the sea and left to age ?!  Very cool !
(Saturn rules age and time, and is my chart ruler)
I was a sculpture major in college, so this really speaks to me.
Working and weaving art in tune with Mother Nature.
(Saturn rules work and spiders/weaving webs/ knots.)
Naturalists are Saturn and Neptune ruled.  Neptune rules inspired art.
Does Jason’s art inspire you..?

Look to the Neptune in your natal chart to see how you are inspired, and how you inspire others. 

Look for conjuntions to indicate where matters are dreamy, foggy, underwater, basically you are operating on pure inspiration and spiritual guidance.
 (This is also also where you need to be cautious of illusions, and delusions.)
Look for any squares to Neptune to see how you will reach deep within for inspiration.

Jupiter stations direct 0 ’22 Taurus, Sunday December 25 at 4:08pm CST, USA

Jupiter brings abundance, hope, faith, wisdom, visionary philosophies, charity, and optimism to the house of Taurus in your chart with today’s direct motion.  It is considered the greater fortune, the bringer of luck and prosperity.

Venus (love, friends) square Saturn (earth, hobbits) square Jupiter (travelers, adventurers).
Squares are friction and they get us up and moving…! 
Trines are easy, somewhat lazy.
For the record, I actually think hobbits in general are Taurus, but…
Bilbo and Frodo have The One Ring and that’s Saturn without a doubt.

Dwarves !  Dwarves live in the Mines of Moria and mines are Pluto.
Sun is coming up to conjunct Pluto, so expect a light in dark places very soon haha stop me with the elvish quotes already !
Another year until The Hobbit.   Ack !   Patience, precioussss…
Mercury communication is square Mars the tease.
Saturn patience opposite (compromise) Jupiter (distant travel) teaser trailer.  haha

wrap it up

Venus (love, money, art) has entered Aquarius and is in a tidy T- square with Saturn (restriction) and Jupiter (extravagance).
Venus is square Saturn and Jupiter (internal conflict) and Saturn and Jupiter are in opposition (something someone else does).

I could go on about the strain on the contents of your wallet, or lack thereof.
I could go on about angsty love woes or the lack thereof.
(Boring !)
Venus is sextile (opportunity), and Mercury trine (ease) Uranus, the intuitive, innovative change-up planet, so…yes…you will be getting insights into love, money, art and Venus ruled things….
but, until then … Venus in Aquarius does its own thing….so here’s the deal~

Venus is cloth, Saturn is knots, and Furoshiki (風呂敷, furoshiki) are a type of traditional Japanese wrapping cloth.
It is artistic, eco – friendly ~ and how cool, cloth square: *presto – change-o* it is giftwrap/ purse/ sarong..etc…

Saturn is wrap and conservation, and Sun is generosity.
Sun enters Saturn – ruled, Cardinal Earth Capricorn on December 22.

I Use is the Capricorn motto.  They are the builders, the practical, career – driven, students of the school of hard knocks.  Built to last, they stick around when the going gets tough.
Capricorns are ruled by Saturn … faithfulness, tact, discipline, diplomacy, rocks and crystals and the Earth you are standing on.

Astrobling

One of the things I love about astrology is how it explains so much about people.
Astrology explains who and what, even how you like.
For instance Neptune is my most highly aspected planet and it rules the sea.
I should be an ocean gal, then right..?!
No.
Mountain girl all the way !
Why is that..?
My Neptune has squares (conflict), while my chart ruler, Saturn (Saturn is Earth, rules Capricorn my Ascendant, is the mountain goat) has a trine (ease) to Mars.
That feels better.
Look to your chart, you will find yourself naturally going for the trines and sextiles every time.  They are the back door, the trapdoor, and the secret passage out of trouble with squares and oppositions in your chart.

My Venus (art, friends) is conjunct Jupiter in Leo (creativity, luck).
I am an artist, and have creative friends, I like cats.
I have a ‘thing’ about naming things. Mercury (names) at MC, with Neptune (fictitious names) most highly aspected.
I have changed my name to something mystical – representing polarities, time and union.
My cats have names that mean ‘friend’.
Neptune is my most highly aspected planet and it rules film & photography.

Look to your chart to see what you like written in the symbols of the skies …
