Perspective.
Pluto rules the rare and miraculous, the microcosmos.
Saturn rules the Earth.

Pluto digs up and transforms how we experience everything in the place it lives or transits in our natal chart.

Pluto by transit hit exact square to my chart ruler, Saturn Rx – today.
Saw that comin’.
It went about as well as I figured it would. 

Pluto will turn your world on its head – you will find yourself hanging like Odin from a tree, sacrificing (death) one thing or idea only to transform that same thing or idea into another greater thing.  It is a struggle, a morph, a shift in perspective.

If the Plutonic situation will not change, YOU. WILL.
Which in turn does change the situation entirely.

Uranus (Aquarius/ 11th house) and Pluto involve perspectives*  and microcosmos.  What house /s do these planets live in and what do they activate in your chart ?

Mine are conjunct Sun in Virgo, on the 9th house of Sagittarius, the expansive.
I SEE (Sag motto) the diversity of life (Pluto falls in my 8th house of Leo, Sun ruled or life)  BIG & small.
I can dovetail the two into a whole (Neptune girl is inclusive – Sag on 12th) philosophy (9th house)  ALL ONE. 

My former husband has them in the 11th house, he is a wicked smart micro biologist.
Teeny tiny is his trade, what he researches & produces goes into salad dressing, etc…
Both are trine his Moon (public) in Taurus.

Think about where Uranus and Pluto live in your chart and how they shift your perspectives time and again.  There is massive growth in that area of your chart, and there will be more in the future as Uranus and Pluto are moving closer to exact square in the sky above us now.

Look to planets they aspect – the house opposite (others), the houses squaring (internal), and the opportunities you have waiting for you in sextile, and the restful spots in the trines.  All these things will help you flesh out the story of your natal chart.

Crown of Courage

Moose as power animal brings contradictions – knowing the path of balance between worlds.  Self – confidence and the power of psychic vision and protection are the gifts of Moose.

Moose is the largest of the deer family growing a palmate (leaf – shaped) rack of antlers, unlike others of the deer family that grow dendritic (twig – like) antlers, making moose easily recognizable. Moose antlers represent psychic antenna, sensitivity to vibrations and depth of perception, keen sight and insight.

Moose do not herd like other members of the deer family, they forage for plants on land and water in solitude.  Moose are good swimmers making them equally at home on land or in water.

Moose is gangly, yet graceful and swift if stirred to action.  They are not aggressive unless startled, angered, or protecting young — then they will charge – aiming what is known as ‘The Crown of Courage’ – (rack of antlers) at you.  Aries and Mars rule fight and courage.
Interesting as I have Saturn Rx (rules antlers) in Aries trine Mars.

Autumn is the power time for Moose, for it is mating season.  Moose power time aligns with late Virgo, Libra, and early Scorpio.

Adult moose use antlers to fight for a mate in the autumn, then the antlers are shed, to conserve energy in the winter.  When the antlers regrow in the spring, only taking 3 – 5 months to develop, they are covered with skin called ‘velvet’, which is shed when the antlers are fully grown.

Moose brings the gifts of vision and revision, the ability to follow fresh uncharted territories, new horizons, and swift progress on the material plane.   Antlers, ruled by Saturn represent earth and business, as Saturn rules Capricorn – home of the 10th house of career and status.

I dreamt of moose in the weeks prior to starting this site. I have seen moose in Colorado many times, but I live in the midwest, so moose are a bit out of the ordinary, I have only dreamt of them once.  So Moose medicine was good for me.  I love wild things, (Uranus) solitude (Saturn, Neptune), and I immerse myself in metaphysics and occult studies.   Neptune (mysticism) is my most highly aspected planet, and Saturn (antlers) is my chart ruler.
Moose medicine told me it was time to tune IN and start broadcasting.

the Force and flow

I was curious, so I dealt a one card draw asking how we (meaning me, you, the world) could best deal with the energies of Neptune into Pisces in order to bring the most benevolent outcome for all.  The card on the right is the Spirit card at the bottom of the deck, a message of what lies underneath the situation, that my not be evident.

Pisces rules the feet which connect us with the earth every day.   We will be feeling opposition or compromise with Virgo, which is a sign of health and service to others.
For Neptune in Pisces, there are no others.
ALL ONE.
This marriage of Neptune and Pisces will bring health and healing of the spirit – acceptance of the Earth and her creatures as a part of US  – worthy of respect and compromise.  She deserves our loyalty and commitment to wise management of limited material resources.

Pisces is yin – passive, introverted and reactive.

When Neptune advances through Pisces, we will be feeling Water on mutable Water (Neptune/Pisces), squares to mutable Air (Gemini), mutable fire, (Sagittarius) which will bring thinking, brainstorming (air), and actions (fire) and we will be in compromise with Virgo which is mutable earth, (building) or making the ideas work.

Cardinals initiate, Fixed signs build, and Mutables can do either.
Mutables are primarily involved in completion and distribution.
Pisces is often called the completion sign because it is the 12th house sign.
Neptune rules Pisces, and Neptunian power will be a mutable force.

Water can lap at stone for millions of years to form the Grand Canyon, for instance.
It is not immediately evident. Yet, it is very powerful.

Sun and Mercury conjunct (power operating) communicating humanitarian concerns in rebel Aquarius.  They are forming the focal point in a T-Square between Saturn (responsibilities, the Earth) on 29 degrees (culmination degree) of Libra (balance, fairness), which is opposite (compromise) Moon (public, feelings) coming to conjunct Jupiter (excess) in Taurus (attitudes about luxury), which in turn, square (inner tension) Sun and Mercury. 

Mars Rx in Virgo (re-evaluate civil actions and service) opposite (compromise) Venus (luxury) in Pisces (universality) and Uranus in Aries (full throttle change).

Saturn trine Neptune (build the dream) on 29 degrees of innovative Aquarius.  Pluto (refuse, trash, transmutation) trine excessive Jupiter in the earth sign of Taurus.

You may apply the above to your life (micro) and globally (macro) – – it is the sky above us all.

I just watched a great documentary Dive ! which has won 21 film festival awards worldwide.  The film is part of a growing movement that re-examines the role of food in a society that wastes 1/2 of all that it produces.

Every year in America we throw away 96 billion pounds of food. One half of all food prepared in the US and Europe never gets eaten. The Department of Agriculture estimated in 1996 that recovering just 5 percent of the food that is wasted could feed four million people a day; recovering 25 percent would feed 20 million people. Today we recover less than 2.5 percent. (facts from: Dive !)

upside down and backwards

In typical Uranian fashion the events of the last few days have been insightful, surprising and weird.   Just how I like ’em !

Witness the energy flux around Mars as it ‘slows in the sky’ to go retrograde this evening.

Last night, my Mars quintile Uranus was sending off bolts out of the blue ~>
I shall list for you…
New Moon in Aquarius was bringing an electrical zing to the dark moon to be followed by Mars retrograde this evening.
There was a CME alert.
There was a Thor’s Hammer thunderstorm in the middle of January over my house, with lightning flashing all around me while I wrote the el Duderino post.
A fly (again is the middle of January here – not fly season)  landed on the computer screen while I wrote then landed near my ear just to make a point.
Flies fly, and flight and aviation is Uranian.

Fly totem:

Survival
Multifaceted vision
Ability to change waste into valuable assets
Transformation
Adaptation to the harshest environments


Compared with simple eyes, compound eyes possess a very large view angle, and can detect fast movement and, in some cases, the polarization of light.
What is polarization of light you ask ?
Electromagnetic waves, such as light, and gravitational waves exhibit polarization.

Uranus is the higher octave of Mercury – it is spiritual sight, etheric vision.
I have Sun conjunct Uranus / Pluto in Virgo where Mars is currently active.

Flies see a million things all at once, are speedy and aerodynamic landing upside down and backwards if need be.

Righteous, fly totem is cool.

Tonight’s sky… three planets are at the 29th degree, the degree of saturation, culmination.

Sun is awareness -presently in Capricorn (self- interest), soon moving into progressive Aquarius (Earth tribe).

Saturn is Earth- presently on the scales of Libra (cooperation), soon moving under the scrutiny of powerful Scorpio.

Neptune is spiritual intelligence- presently in eccentric Aquarius, soon drifting home to the healing waters of Pisces.

This sky feels heavy.  I have natal Sun at 29 degrees.
The world is sick. I am sick, and my cat is sick.
When I am feeling better, I will discuss the 29th degree more fully.

Transit Mars is in my Virgo house (pets) activating my stellium (Sun/Uran/Pluto), transit Mars is also activating my natal Neptuner (which happens to be conjunct all my Egyptian kitty cat asteroids- and opposite my Leo stuff.)

Lunar Lore

The Moon moves fast, spends about 2 days in each sign, it navigates the entire zodiac in 27.33 days.

According to Ye Olde Farmer’s Almanac tradition, here is how to set the best times for surgery dates.

First look to the Man of the Signs drawing above to see which sign rules which part of the human body.
Then look to the see what sign the Moon falls in.
Choose a time when the moon is in the sign furthest away from the area you will be having surgery on.

For instance if having surgery on the head or face, schedule the appointment when the moon is in Pisces for best results.

Also watch for full moons and avoid surgery at these times as the moon rules the ocean tides and water, and human blood is 80 % water.  The blood flows more freely and is slower to clot during full moons.  Some also give 3 days on either side of the full moon as a time to avoid surgery because of the increase of blood flow.

During the Last Quarter and New Moon times, blood flow is more sluggish and is better for healing and resting.
Keep in mind, I am not a medical doctor, this is Farmer’s Almanac lore and wisdom, not medical advice.

Ever wonder why during dark moons you only feel like being quiet and lounging with a book ?
Now you know ~ your blood flow is slightly reduced, meaning less oxygen throughout the blood stream, it is a time for respite.

Hair ?
For increase of growth, cut between the New and Full Moon.
For thicker hair, cut on the Full Moon.  (My boss swears by this !)
To decrease growth, Full to New Moon (plucking, shaving, dyeing)
