Hobbits of Jupiter

I love me some Hobbit !  … you guessed ? lol.
Hey, I freely admit to being all over Middle Earth and Jedi Knights.
Sexy scruff and swords ? !  mmMmmyes please & thank you !

Anyway, several weeks ago I had posted my praise of all things centaur. (My natal vibes very Sag.) …I must have given someone ideas – they knocked on my backdoor looking for Hobbits of Jupiter.

Ok.  Love.
HAD to make THAT happen !

I have mentioned before I think Hobbits are primarily Taurean, they love gardening, eating, drinking, pipeweed, singing etc…
So in honor of the 10th anniversary of LotR, and the New Moon in Taurus with Jupiter in Taurus and a Grand Earth Trine – I am going to delve into Hobbit synastry !  YaY !

Astrology really cracks me UP sometimes ~ if you don’t believe me, then study it for yourself  and you’ll see …!

Sean (Sam) and Elijah (Frodo)

I have written about Elijah before here (click), but a quick recap :
Aquarius Sun, Mercury and Mars; Scorpio Moon, Venus in Capricorn, Saturn and Jupiter conjunct in Libra.

Sean is Pisces Sun and Moon, Mercury in Aquarius, Mars in Sagittarius, Venus in Capricorn, Jupiter and Neptune conjunct in Sagittarius.

Synastry : Venus conjunct in Capricorn they like each other, Hollywood film kids in the business (Capricorn) all grown up, familiar with each others work.  Sean was in The Goonies; Elijah, Back to the Future 2 wearing a colander ! – just for starters.

Sean’s Pisces Moon trine Elijah’s Scorpio Moon, so they feel simpatico – water signs feel everything, emote well – so most likely made the Mordor scenes easier for each other.

Sean’s Libra Uranus is conjunct Elijah’s Saturn /Jupiter conjunction
Elijah’s Scorpio Uranus is conjunct (out of sign) Sean’s Sagittarius Neptune / Jupiter conjunction
That’s a heck of a lot of creative ideas flying around (Uranus, Libra, Neptune), and both are actively involved in favorite fund-raising projects year after year.

Sean’s Aquarius North Node is conjunct Elijah’s Mercury and Mars which sextiles Sean’s Mars.  They treat each other well, when Elijah got to pick the next Bacchus (Mardi Gras) he chose Sean to follow him.  Good friends.

Sean’s Saturn is conjunct Elijah’s Chiron – both are trine their Venus’ in Capricorn.
Sean is most likely a steady force, offering support and patience, an older brother type influence.

Billy Boyd (Pippen) and Dominic Monaghan (Merry)

Billy is Mega – Virgo  !  Sun, Mercury, Venus, Jupiter, Uranus, Pluto.  Moon is either late Libra or early Scorp, I don’t have his exact birth time.  He has North Node and Saturn Rx in Aries like me, his Mars is in Leo.

Dom is a Sagittarius Sun, conjunct Neptune and Mars.  Cancer Moon, Mercury and Venus in Capricorn.  North Node conjunct Uranus in Scorpio, Jupiter in Taurus.

Synastry :  Well, no surprise – it’s good.  These two have a ton of fun on and off camera.
Billy’s Mars is conjunct Dom’s Saturn Rx in Leo.  They trine Dom’s Sun, Neptune, Mars conjunction in Sagittarius.  Leos play.  Period.  Dom’s Sag stuff wants to run free, so game on !

Billy’s Mars kick starts Dom’s old man Saturn every time, gets Dom going.  Not that it takes much encouragement for a Leonine planet to go all goofy or anything.

Dom’s Capricorn Venus is trine Billy’s Virgo city, so earth to earth, sensible but randy !
Moons are (roughly – again no times here) trine one another, they feel the same about many things, relate to one another easily.

Dom’s North Node and Uranus conjunct Billy’s Moon.  Dom gave Billy a cake with Bees all over it – hence the name Beecake for Billy’s band – a dream that became reality after LotR.

Elijah and Billy synastry :  Elijah’s Capricorn Venus is trine Billy’s Virgo city.  Elijah’s Neptune is trine Billy’s Saturn Rx in Aries.  Elijah’s North Node in Leo is conjunct Billy’s Mars.  Being a huge music fan, it is very likely Elijah encouraged Billy to pursue his career in music and helped boost his confidence in that area.

Elijah and Dominic

Synastry : Capricorn Venus’ conjunct.  Solid friends, have remained so.

Dominic’s Pluto is conjunct Elijah’s Saturn / Jupiter conjunction in Libra; which trines Elijah’s Sun.  Dom is likely busting a bit of Elijah’s conventionality into new horizons of creativity and reformatting relationship / partnership matters – several business ideas have been bandied about over the years.  Perhaps something will eventually come to fruition…?

This much I do know…Dom has Jupiter in Taurus (23 degrees) and his new creative endeavor “Wild Things” is coming up to bat very soon as his 6th house is filling up with all the new moon energy and transiting Jupiter in Toro is coming to conjunct his natal Jupiter.

*note: Dominic has a very strong Saturn Rx in Leo that trines his Sun, Mars and Neptune – he is very active in conservation, having bought a small forest in India.  He is also fighting to protect animals who are unable to ask for help themselves.

Full Moon at 17 degrees Libra approaches…..Friday at 2:19 pm CST, USA

Viggo is Libra Sun.  Aquarius Moon.

Full Moon in Libra will be trine Viggo’s Chiron.

He is a beautiful diplomat (Libra stellium) who knows the actions (Aqua Moon trine Mars Rx in Gemini) must be thought out, researched, explored – for there are two sides to everything.  Possiblities are endless.  Life, time is in a constant state of flux, always.

Yet Saturn is exalted in Libra…he knows some things are timeless.  Love and kindness, for example. (Viggo has Libra Sun, Venus, North Node and Chiron all sextile Saturn)

The right word, gesture or tiny seed of an idea planted at the precise right time can change everything for the better. (Mercury conjunct Jupiter, both sextile Pluto in Virgo)

Saturn Rx currently rests on his Libra Sun, is approaching his North Node at 22 degrees Libra. Saturn will go direct on his North Node (conjuncts his Venus) on Monday the 25th of June.  A project, an agreement, a labor of love years in the making will flower or reach culmination at that time.  It will likely involve travel and a respected mentor.

Viggo has Saturn in Sagittarius.  The serious thinker and traveller, he works (photography, poems) while he plays, he documents and records what he sees.
If you are very lucky, he will tell you what he is thinking.

squares vs. oppositions

So I’m thinking Sam has Jupiter conjunct Frodo’s Saturn.

Yeah right ?!  I want my own gardener, protector, carry me and the Devils ring up the mountain dude too. haha   Who doesn’t ?

My former husband’s Jupiter was conjunct my natal Saturn Rx exact – trust me it was awesome, very beneficial ~

Venus is conjunct Jupiter in Taurus – big giant earth trine above us, and I am thinking Hobbits. Hobbits are super – mega earth – they stick around when the going gets tough.  I get  Sam, all the hobbits, really – I am Cap rising, Saturn ruler, Moon in Toro, Virgo stellium.  I garden, hunt mushrooms, and I’ve tossed back a few pints in my day.

Sam is heroic in my book, as are the rest of the fellowship.

Each was dealing with personal conflicts (squares), dynamics within the fellowship + orcs  (oppositions), and they were power operating together (conjunctions).

I have the most trouble with my Scorpio Neptune squares to Venus conj Jupiter in Leo 8th.  My Neptune opposition to Moon is no picnic, but the squares were (are) my huge hurdle.

I go on a quite a bit about heroes here, and for the record- you can count me out as far as vacuous celebs and murderers are concerned – they have had the mic long enough !   Here you will find people I find worthy of emulating, people who inspire through overcoming huge personal obstacles.

 Some natal charts have only squares, some only oppositions – Georgia O’Keefee for example, only had oppositions – no squares.

Think of her life, it becomes obvious – she was her own woman, very self- assured, an art rebel.  She ditched the lucrative glad-handing NY arts scene for an adobe home in the middle of no + where ( it is – I’ve been there, and I love New Mexico, I mean no disrespect, I am a small town gal myself) to do her own thing.

So I am thinking she most admired those people who rescued others.

By the same reasoning, I am thinking those who have difficult squares in their own natal are most inspired by those who overcome personal obstacles.

This was a lovely surprise (Uranus rules surprises) gift from a stranger.

I went back and checked the astro of Star Trek exhibition day ~
Venus (gifts) was conjunct Uranus (astronauts / aerospace).

Moon was tightly conjunct Saturn in the last degrees of Venus ruled Libra.
I bought my Mom (Moon) a tribble (a cooing fuzzball – I’m going with Venus rules) for Valentines (Venus rules Libra, love and gifts) and she’s a Capricorn (Saturn rules).

She of course, loved it !  She is the original trekkie in our house.
She made me the model ship and hung it in my bedroom when I was little.
She bought me the little action figures and we watched the cartoon.

(In our composite Jupiter -expansion- is tightly conjunct Uranus)
Jupiter amps up the space geek wattage, lol.

Mom even bought me Captain’s Logs years ago – I drug it out of my bag for the car trip over, and my friend cracked UP at the unabashed nerdiness.
My friend was secretly relieved I didn’t dress as a Klingon, lol.
No – not Klingon – obviously  I’m from Betazed.   hahaha !

Roddenberry asteroid 4659 is exact conjunct my 11th house Neptuner – hilar – Incredibly apt for a life long Trek freak !

…so back to the fellow at the museum, he saw me snapping shots of the giant reels at the museum and thought I might like a slice.  I totally like !

Sun (rules generous Leo) was quintile (special talents, expression) Jupiter (lucky gifts, explorers) in the sky that day.

I was a radio, tv, film major in college, but he didn’t know that.
When he found me in the lobby and gave me the slice, my Mercury MC kicked in and I blurted some quickie astro “Neptune just went into Pisces for the first time since the gold rush and my most highly aspected planet is Neptune which rules film ! !”

TMI ?!  haha oh well – I gave him this addy and went on about Gneiss metamorphic rocks, science then finally put a sock in it.  If in case – you, Mister handsome Museum Film dude – are reading…in my natal, Uranus (space) is in my 9th (exploration) house.
It is conjunct my Sun (spirit) and Pluto (metamorphs) and your surprise really lifted my spirits, thanks !

The 11th house of Aquarius (ruled by Uranus) rules birds of a feather (flight is Uranus, so is astrology), or like minded friends.  Aquarians and Uranian types are eccentric and inventive, they are the crazies on the cutting edge – they expect and offer freedom.  Aquarians are advanced in humanitarian thinking and goals (Aquarius is an Air sign, full of intuitive brainstorms- Uranus rules lightning and electricity) seeing and knowing (Aquarian motto) the value of all life on earth and in space.

Sounds Uranian all over, curious and strange, the radical and uncharted.
In case you didn’t know, Kirk and Uhura had the first interracial kiss on network television.  ! YaY !
There is Venus (kiss) conjunct Uranus (radical & unexpected) again !

AND Uhura is derived from uhuru which is Swahili for freedom.

Whenever Uranus transits a planet in your natal expect the unexpected, it can mean a separation, a surprise, sudden messages & bolts from the blue, but most of all the unpredictable.  Consider if the aspect Uranus makes is a conjunction (power operating), an opposition (compromise with another), a trine (more harmonious) or a sextile (an opportunity).  That will give a bit of an idea where the change may come from.
Still – heads UP !

Also, I have seen in some charts Uranus in Leo, the 5th and / or in hard aspect to the Sun (Sun rules Leo, which rules the heart) can indicate a heart murmur, which is made by turbulent blood in or near your heart.
(Not in all charts, mind you, but some. Just be aware of the possibility.)

I love this, it’s only 2 minutes, and well worth your time, promise.  I found this video by following an Aquarian.  Odd the bit with the canoe parked at the edge of the water looks like the scene where Frodo breaks from the Fellowship, and leaves the shores of Amon Hen for Mordor.

Venus (love, friends) square Saturn (earth, hobbits) square Jupiter (travelers, adventurers).
Squares are friction and they get us up and moving…! 
Trines are easy, somewhat lazy.
For the record, I actually think hobbits in general are Taurus, but…
Bilbo and Frodo have The One Ring and that’s Saturn without a doubt.

Dwarves !  Dwarves live in the Mines of Moria and mines are Pluto.
Sun is coming up to conjunct Pluto, so expect a light in dark places very soon haha stop me with the elvish quotes already !
Another year until The Hobbit.   Ack !   Patience, precioussss…
