Romance, creativity, play and social strut yer stuff will be pouncing and bouncing around the room !  Charm, grace, singing and dancing and expressing our hearts desires . . . oh this WILL be fun !   Venus has a tendency for generosity in Leo, this is good – just know money can slip right through the fingers in fun-lovin’, good time gambling Leo house.  

Picked up an interesting book tonight that recommended putting cat’s whiskers into the glovebox for vehicular safety and smooth rides.

Hmph !  Who knew ?!
Fascinating.

Whiskers are ‘feelers’ – obviously intuitive and perceptive.  Cats use them to navigate, gauge distances and feel air currents so they don’t get stuck in tight places or crash into things.

Cats are also sneaks, so this may come in veeery handy for me – just sayin’ !  lol.

Cat whiskers help them get around more easily when the sun sets, darkness falls and they are out hunting.  Whiskers operate similar to horns on larger animals.  (Horns on totem animals operate as psychic antenna)

I just happen to have 2 cats, two whiskers and one rusty old dodge truck –
I am soOo doing this !

Better the devil you know than the one you don’t. 

Saturn has one hell of a nasty rep.  * see horns  ^
Who wouldn’t love  restriction, responsibilities, duty, and being an olde sour pessimistic, melancholy workaholic cuss ! ! . . ?! . . . anyone ?  haha yeeeah. exactly.

I was thinking the other day this ‘devil you know business’ may as well be my anthem, code, motto whatever.  Why ?  Well, being the child of 2 Capricorn Suns, and a Cap rising myself, I have had Saturn up my nostril since. . . well, ever.

YeeHAW Not.

I have Saturn retrograde in its fall in Aries 3rd.  For non – astro folks, that translates as self (1st house) restrictions on any and all actions (Mars rules Aries) and thinking (3rd house is thinking).  Is why I go on & On & ON  about mindful thoughts and morphing the business model in the brainpan to a more happy blissful state.

Ya know, Saturn is the new sunshine and rainbows and all that jazz. 

Saturn IS actually helpful – it keeps us tethered to this planet, makes juice into concentrate, it’s the groovy trick that keeps us from flying out of the Round UP rides.

Ahem. but seriously, what got me started on this Saturn post ?

Nah, just kidding, I will obviously live with Saturn, but you get my point.  Lots and lots of work, but Saturn requires it.  The rewards are great, a job well done, self- satisfaction, you know, that sittin’ on top of the world  thang.

Saturn in Taurus or 2nd house: choking, poverty, deadlines, unreliability, theft of personal objects, frenetic jazz and or opera crescendos

Saturn in Gemini or 3rd house: asphyxiation, inability to communicate, being pigeonholed or illogical, stuck in a corner with boring people who never shut up

Preception

When my (former) husband and I were house hunting, I knew  we would buy this house the second my foot hit the driveway.   Of course, when I said so, he gave me an incredulous look like I had just taken a sharp turn around the far bend, turned into a toad or something.

Him: We haven’t even looked at it yet.
Me:  Don’t have to.  I already know.  I got the *twinge*.
Him: The what .?
Me: The *twinge*.  I get it when really, really important things happen.  And I just got it.
Him: Yeah right.  We’re gonna look at it anyway, and don’t go makin’ any weird offers.

ha ha Guess what ?
We loved it, bought it – years later when we divorced, I bought it and I live here to this day.

For the record, twinge  is dialect for pluck or tweak.

Considering I have Neptuner (strings, guitars, psychometry) in the 11th (natural home of electric Aquarius) it makes sense.

Moon (home) exalted in Toro 4 (Moon naturally rules the 4th) opposite biggie Neptuner (rules feet) in Scorp 11.

Moon also trines my Virgo Sun/Uranus 9/Pluto 8 stellium.

Strange thing is, I got the twinge  once before about this house.  We were driving on the interstate – that was a weird one – I got it in the middle of cornfields no & where – with absolutely no reference point to go on.

So I tagged a mental note of the next town we passed.
It was my town, where I now live – 5 years before we even moved to this area.

I felt it once when a galpal was standing right next to me.  I said something to her about it. I figured it was the someone nearby who was looking into me – he wanted something I could not give at that time.  Found out what he wanted later.  Glad you like the Funhouse, btw.  I am not surprised you do.  Happy trails, truly. Another time I vividly remember getting the twinge, I was in a power place surrounded by 3 friends who would – much to my surprise – figure greatly in my life in the coming years.  One in particular has been the fulcrum of powerfully personal  transcendent transformations, though I did not know it then.

The sunny afternoon it zapped me, I tried to shake it off (it feels weird – every time) by shaking my head, rubbing my temples and grabbing hold of something tethered to the ground.  The man next to me asked me what was wrong.  I told him.  Then he asked me what I meant by twinge.   He wanted me to describe it.

So here goes . . . I will describe my experience of Preception  for you.

First my head starts buzzing.  My senses, my perceptions of the world around me dramatically shift to include  other planes of existence ::: warp speed expansion ::: it is literally like having each foot present in separate worlds.

One foot is on the physical plane – breathing, talking, looking at you and answering your questions about what is wrong with me – and the other foot is holding my place in the world that is Everything and Everywhen and Everywhere Else.

It feels somewhat similar to the inner ear / head phases in an airplane when the physical body adjusts to higher altitudes.
(Mercury at Libra MC 9 : the inner ear affects balance) 

My ‘feelers’ twitch – the hair on my arms and head is raised – tingling like tiny divining rods readying to receive cosmic data. My sense of hearing is somewhat muted, things happening right next to me in the physical world sound as if they are miles away – distant, muffled.

The atmo / air / aura around me – particularly around my head – feels like a live wire.
My head begins to HUM and drone tone. (HUM is Neptune :: Sun conjunct Uranus, electrics :: my ruler Saturn is in Aries, the head, and it trines Mars which rules Aries)

I get the distinct impression I AM bigger than my body (yes song lyrics) and the universe is tweaking my brain dial – Neptuning me into some cosmic electro-magnetic time stream. 

It feels as if the air around me is a bubble – a bit thicker, heavier in density.  Not liquid as in water or gelatinous – more like membrane or bubble.

Plasma.  That’s it !

WoW.  Glad I wrote this – I am learning too . . .


Think of what the air feels like immediately prior to a thunderstorm – filled with positive ions and heavy.  Positively electric.

That’s what’s going on, in and around my head.  I KNOW something important is – or is about to – happen, but I don’t always know exactly what IT is.

IT may not seem important in the right now moment WHILE I am getting it – but it WILL BE VITAL somewhere, somewhen, someplace.  This I DO know.

I told you it was weird.

That said, I can’t talk to your dead uncle, I can’t talk to my dead uncle either.  These weird shifts happen like a lightning strike – out of the blue – inexplicable and I cannot control them.  Uranian free will baby – they do their own thang.

So on to the relevant astro, then, of course the science.

Ions can be produced by high-energy events. 

Hmmm . . . fascinating, yes ?
Usually these events are akin to open flames, lightning and sparks, but imagine these events are HIGH OCTANE, game changing, LIFE events.

What happens when positive ions are converted to negative during thunderstorms ?

 That’s akin to my Libra MC, along with Venus conjunct Jupiter squaring Neptuner. I am always always striving for normality. {spoken in improbability drive voice}

Attract / repel, polarities is all Uranus, baby
 Balance is Mercury (dual, tricksy, neutral) in Libra (scales of balance) at MC

As far as tuning into the cosmic electro-magnetic time stream, it is the ionosphere that reflects radio waves back to earth, allowing humans to broadcast over long distances.  The ionosphere is electrically charged and affected by magnetics.

(my Zinger magnet Uranus conj Sun in the 9th – natural house of expansion, quint Mars in Sag, traveling long distances)

the breaking

It took me forever to write about the 6/12th houses for good reason.  Neptune is a big player in my chart.  It is not easy to admit I feel and likely inflict the pain, surrender and sorrow of the 12th.  Twelfth house Neptunian energy silently emerges and recedes, it is seductive and filled with illusions and dreams.  It is a part of me I have to accept.

Not suitable for realistic Saturnian audiences.  Most excellent movie material though. Aeons of heARTwork across herstory is testament to pain and suffering brought to life and transformed by the creative urge to manifest human desires.  One way or another desire will find a way to spill, stream and rush itself onto the material plane.

Is creative genius always the product of profound suffering . . .?

My Neptune lives in Aqua 11 and I don’t  KNOW.
Neptune shrouds the answer from me.

Neptune in Aquarius had all the romance of an electric eel winding around my heart.  I haven’t looked up PTSD symptoms, not yet.  Pretty sure I’ve got them, and I’m not ready to know just now.   Part and parcel of living with Sun/Ura/Pluto.

I am drowning in deep waters, in the mineshaft of my 8th house. Neptune surrounds me again by opposing my late Leo Venus/Jupes by transit, while natal Neptune squares them.  This Neptune Rx is the last clearing out of the dross of the painful Aqua years, I am surrendering to the feelings of loss, grieving . . . and releasing it. 

Progressed: Uranus is rightontop of my Venus with Pluto on standby – the whole mess opposes prog Saturn Rx (my natal ruler).
Transit Uranus is applying to conjunct prog Saturn by transit.

I don’t have anything witty, humorous or genius to share, right now I feel empty.
Just another turn of the wheel, it will pass, like all transits do. . .

SoOo . . . I am Virgoing out, canning tomatoes, keeping busy, I will sing Peter Jackson’s praises later this Labor Day weekend, I don’t know when. 

I am metamorphing just like everyone else, and it’s painful, just like I knew it would be.

Rough lunation, full moon will square my natal Sagittarius Mars  – checked my progressed too.  Ouch. Not even going there.  fun times, ugh.

Moon is conjunct Chiron, so this post must be written. 
Chiron was a centaur by the way.  A horse, of course. lol
Chiron is known as the wounded healer; herbalist, philosopher, teacher.

I was thinking earlier, while going all Ed Scissorhands on my 7 something foot hedge, that this has been the year of Martians – particularly angular Mars peeps.  (1st, 4th, 7th, 10th house are the angular houses.)  I’ve been gaining championship gymnastic status trying to please this bunch I tell ya.  My most recent run-in had me positively fuming with the  ” you’ll have to . . .blahblahblah ”  business while I was doing something out of kindness for free.   I am generally slow to rile, but this one had a hotline on my red phone – rrrrg.
I don’t have  to do anything.

You read above I have Sagittarius Mars (it trines my chart ruler).  I have a 9th house stellium (natural Sag house) and my Venus is conjunct Jupiter (rules Sag) and my Mercury sextiles Jupiter from the 9th.  The only thing in my chart not getting a direct Sag hit is Moon and it still trines my 9th house stellium through transference of light through Pluto.

You need to know this about Sagittarius, and I am getting it / learning it about myself – even now – after all my life of running with Sagittarians.

We are blunt.

There.  I said it.
Went and lumped myself in with the sign I have sworn off dating for life.
Ye gads what irony. 

Why am I telling you this . . . ?

Do you want the truth ?

Then I am going to give it to you.  

I do not intend to come off mean, crass or cruel – but because I love you, I will give it to you straight, no chaser.   I’m not gonna blow smoke up your ass – I find it insulting when others do that to me.  ( I am perfectly aware of false flattery while someone is trying to shove a shiv in my back.  I’ve got stealth in the 12th baby, not gonna happen. )
