Full Moon in Capricorn, 12 degrees, 1:52pm

Mars into Libra drives to amp up all things beautiful, and creative as well as $$$ until the 23 of August when Mars enters Scorpio.

Balance will found by taking creative action.  Mars gets a flavor of steady work here in the sign of balance where Saturn is exalted.  Everything deemed unnecessary while Mars was in Virgo is packed up – now we sell or beautify what remains.

This is a time to align actions of self-care with those of caring for others in our lives.  Mars in Libra will tip the scales of balance in order to take charge – balance and diplomacy must be cultivated.  This could get interesting as Mars enters Libra and immediately begins to move into an opposition with Uranus and a square to Pluto.

Outward power, meet inward power, meet surprises.

Mars also moves into Libra and trines bigtime creativity – Jupiter conjunct Venus !

Create something beautiful on the earth plane.
Think trash to treasure – yeah !
Let’s make Mars in Libra the trash to treasure transit + Bonus Points + if your  treasure lights up or is electric somehow, or is something kooky, but useful.  It has to be plutonic or trash  of some kind, broken or abandoned or whatever. 

Like : Finish that poem you started years ago or take a favorite quote and paint it on something – make those blue jean squares into a camping blanket, cut up those pictures and make a collage. I save all my candle wax, re-melt it to make new ones.  See what I mean ..?

OOo fun !  Mars loves a good competition – who’s in ?  Just like combing the junkyard in art school searching for some unknown weird ‘thigamajig’ that became the seed of the brilliant sculptural art piece.  I am totally going for it, join me if you like !

Mars will power into Libra and immediately form a trine with Jupiter and Venus in Gemini – think artistically, creatively !  Personally there must be something to re-purpose in your surrounds, and globally practically every corner has something that could use a good metamorphosis, yes ?  Let’s brainstorm solutions and fix things !

Moon Dance

The Full Moon in Cap will be activating my 5th and 11th solar houses, and it seems I am going to involve others in inventing creative solutions re: USE of STUFF. 

Full Moon will bring information in your house of Capricorn, from the opposite house of Cancer (home) this will be a reveal, about work or public persona.  Look for what house your Capricorn falls on, and see what that house rules, that will likely be the nature of your news.   Moon will pass over Pluto before Full, so feelings may hit a speed bump, desires may spike for good or ill – fair warning – breathe deep, clearly and calmly communicate your intent and keep moving the energies along.

The Full Moon conjunct Pluto will be the focal point of one T-square with Mars and Uranus.  Uranus will be the focal point of the other T-square with The Full Moon conjunct Pluto, and Sun.

In a nutshell : that’s power, feelings, surprise, and revelation – so pack your zen, just in case.

Of course see the houses of Scorpio and Pisces for your opportunities arising.

Look to the houses of Virgo and Taurus for your benefits  and energies you can more easily draw upon to relieve the squares.

Sun conjunct Venus (conjunct ASC) in Scorpio, Jupiter also in Scorpio, all in the 12th house of the collective unconscious.  (Chiron is also Scorpio, in the 11th.)
Pretty amazing.

Scorpios love research and Terence was a shaman who devoted his life to exploratory research of the worlds of hallucinogenic drugs.

He had Virgo Moon (at MC – Moon is the well of the psyche- the unconscious and it rules his 8th house) in square to all his personal planets – yet it was quintile Uranus.  His Uranus was a singleton (no major aspects) in Gemini.  (See Jeff Bridges under actors – he has a singleton Uranus as well.)  Uranus unaspected operates as a maverick’s  maverick  – it truly in every sense operates on instinct alone, wild and free.

Uranus is quincunx 12th house Venus showing a need to adapt and improvise – perfect – think of how he had to adapt when speaking and communicating his other-worldly vision quests so they could be understood or useful to others.  North Node of Destiny is in Gemini as well, making Terence a communicator, esp with Mercury conjunct Mars.

Terence had Saturn conjunct Pluto in Leo in 9, serious reasearch of the creative spirit, of all life and our place within the vast universe that crosses all ethno-species time-space dimensional barriers.

Saturn and Pluto squared Jupiter in Scorpio from the 9th to the 12th – so interesting, yes ..?  He did not physically travel to other worlds, but within his mind, in a drug induced state – yes, he explored new horizons within the human universe – the final frontier – THE MIND. 

I saved Neptune for last because it is the Drug Planet.
Terence had Neptune in Libra sextile his Sagittarius Mercury, Mars conjunction ( there are his actions thrown behind  expansive, mind-altering vision quests).

His Neptune was also sextile his Saturn, Pluto conjunction in Leo (he shines a light on teaching from the depths of his deep mind diving research – 12th house Scorp Sun).

Lastly, his Saturn Pluto conjunction in Leo 9 was trine his Mercury and Mars in Sagittarius in the first house.   Fire to fire, willpower aimed at communicating visions and new horizons – opening doors of perceptions was how he rolled.

Moon at MC, indicates fluctuation (and the public) and interestingly enough, some saw Terence as a kook, some saw him as a visionary, some saw him as a modern- day scientist / shaman / researcher,  some saw him as a green eco-warrior waving a flag of peace and calling for balance and respect for all life forms.

However the world sees him, Terence was VISIONARY and ahead of his time.
RIP Terence.

Aries Uranus as focal point of a T-square with Cancer Sun & Capricorn Pluto.
How are we all doin’ with that one folks ?

The cosmic dredge is in full force with Sun Cancer as part of T-square: clan issues, tribe mind and how can we work as a team when all I really want is you outta my face ?

What is moving underneath the surface of still waters…?  Waxing Moon in Scorp adds a dark zing  to the edge of the knife blade that is pruning the past relentlessly.  Supercharged Arian growth is pulling out all the stops while the gunk rolls and churns up to the surface for air.

Virgo Mars is moving to activate Pluto as well, so zen is primo deluxe real estate.
Life as racquetball is the new zen.
Define and find your bliss, or define it as you bushwhack your trail ~> learn how to juggle, ricochet hits from the blind side, create a new sport, pick up a new skill set – whatever you need to, but this astro is demanding full throttle growth, make no mistake.

Jupiter is conjunct S Node and Venus and they are squaring Neptune retrograde.

skin speaks the stars

This is such a lovely picture…so tranquil…

I was thinking of posting about skin, since I have had some people asking about it.
Since we all have skin (Saturn) or sensitive skin (Aquarius), I thought everyone might find it interesting.

Complexion is ruled by Venus and Libra.  Mars causes inflammations to the skin, Mercury and Uranus afflictions can cause damage to the nerves of the skin.  Pisces ASC can give pale skin, while a rosy complexion is both fire signs and Sun and Mars prominent.  Sun in Taurus can give swarthy complexions; aspects to Saturn make the complexion lighter or darker.  Albinism is Saturn, but also Uranus due to genetics and the eye problems/skin sensitivities that often accompany albinism.

Freckles are due to a predominance of iron in the skin (Mars rules) and Mars prominent at birth, such as Mars in the Ascendant or rising or a Mars influence or or sign on the ASC.  Mars rising in Aries tends towards a face full of freckles and fiery red hair, though there many other signs of freckles, this is the most common.   (I have Mars rising, and there are freckles spread all over me, but less than the lovely woman above, as my Mars trines my Saturn and I am Capricorn ASC.)

Curly hair is principally given by Scorpio; thick hair is given by Sun.  Straight hair is influenced by a strong Saturn and weak Mars.

Moles appear when the body part (check rulership of body) is not afflicted by Mars.
A few examples from ye olde skool texts:

::: Moles are influenced by Sun unafflicted by Mars; and by the Lord of the houses above

I took a look at my Prenatal eclipse tonight.

Verrrry interesting !  The chart of that day ..?.. most definitely a portent of things to come.  Solar eclipse, N Node in Toro – Mercury conjunct Sun/Moon becomes Lord of the eclipse. They all trine Uranus/Pluto in the 3rd. Merc is quintile Jupiter. 

Fabulous to see what was up above while I was swimming & incubating – getting ready to hatch. ha  Cogs were slipping into place already, very cool.  Wonder when my consciousness landed ..?.. interesting to consider…

Here is how you can glean more info about yourself, your personality – or more likely be reminded of your challenges and obstacles in this life as well as how you will have to work to overcome them.

Find the eclipse just before : closest to : your birthdate. (Use the NASA Moon phase link on right.)  Cook up the chart and see if it is solar or lunar.  What is Lord of your eclipse ?  Any big aspect patterns ? Trends emerging…?

Solar : Setting the gears for life in the public eye – leadership, creativity, extroverted.

Lunar : Setting the gears for a life of contemplation – quiet, adaptable, introverted.

Now look at the next eclipse after your birth. 
If it is the same as the pre-birth eclipse, the energies will support each other; if not there will be strain to balance the two.

For instance, if the pre-birth eclipse is lunar, and the post-birth solar; the individual will be thrust into the spotlight in some way, like it or not.  :::Sounds like a retrograde planet kicking into gear at middle age, yes ? – similar energies – only dealing with the conscious/ subconscious self:::

The pre-birth eclipse return usually happens around the age of 19, and again near the age of 38, and 57.  Life events will change course during these Metonic cycles.
