A reader with Sun square Pluto is searching for ways to accept power.

Dear reader, you already have power  – that is a fact that you need to accept  first and foremost.  Astrologically ANY contact between a luminary and Pluto IS powerful, your square just means you can’t easily accept it.  Yet.
First, it must be said with Plutonian power – it is most important to gain power over oneself, rather than use it to control others. 

Everything on earth has energy and vibrates with frequency.  Earth, rock, tree, bird, water, air, humans.  Earth vibrates slower, yet is very much energetically alive.
For instance, the sky above me just broke with lightning and rain, negative ions are in the air.  Use every opportunity you can to work with the natural earth forces around you – I just opened my door to bring more ions inside.  This ‘invisible’ energy is at work in and all around us.  If you want to tap it, and strengthen it, I will help.

This may seem obvious, but keep your physical body healthy.  Eat food that is natural, organic – avoid foods that are hard for your body to digest, as this uses more energy.  Hydrate often, keep your electrolytes replenished, exercise.  Be disciplined, restraint is actually quite freeing.  Find your Saturn and work it.

Mitakuye Oyasin.  We are all related.  Know your inherent worth.  You exist.  You are vital.  Still and focus on the energy of your own breath, heart and life coursing through you.  You are an intersection on the web of life.

We are all sparks of creation.  To bring the spark to a blaze, think of a moment in your life you were happiest.  Yes, you are going to create your Patronus.  Though be aware this is an Edgar Cayce reference source I am using.  Potter or Cayce – it works !

1. Imagine your happy event – identify what made it special – precisely what about the event  represents your highest spiritual joy and values ?  Got it ?  Make a small phrase to describe it.  This will be your ‘charm’, your ‘mantra’.  This is your thought, your moment crystallized into pure positive energy.  When you feel depleted, speak this phrase while imagining the moment that led you to choose it – feel the power behind the words, the emotion you are tapping when you say it aloud.

Thought + voice + positive intention = powerful energy raised

2.  The nature of energy is to move.
—-Keep the energy moving in your living environment.  Practice living simply.
 De-clutter, clean often.  Use scent, sound, water and fire to increase and clear the energy and keep it flowing in your home.
—-Keep the energy moving in your body through movement, exercise.
—-Keep the energy moving in your mind.  Read, do puzzles, learn new skills, approaches.  Take a different route, use your non-dominant hand to write or draw.

3.   Own your energy center.
—-You are in charge  of your charge.  Positive or negative, you raise the energy, or dampen it.  Energy by itself is neutral.  How you feel about it gives it charge – the human heart is electric.  Sun rules Leo, rules the heart – the emotional center of the human body.  Where the thoughts and feelings go, energy flows.

The body is a miraculous thing – heart transplant patients report literally a ‘change of heart’ : attitudes, feelings and identity merges with another spirit – the heart donor.  See how powerful we are ?  Amazing physical creatures.  We are spirit manifested into matter.  haha in a typo I wrote spit – but spit has power too !  My mother-in-law always spit on her bait to bring fish.  When I am in the woods without a proper offering, I will say a blessing and spit.  True.

Anyway, think how heartbreak feels, it is an ache in the chest – our spirit (Sun) is weakened.  Sun square Pluto is a call for change in desires of some kind.  Pluto forces a change of heart, in some way – only you know how Sun square Pluto person  – you are being forced to change on a soul deep level.  You are metamorphosis manifest. 
I feel for you, I have Sun conjunct Uranus Pluto; Pluto trine Moon; eighth house Venus conj Jupiter in Leo (Sun rules).  Giant Neptuner in Scorpio.  I get it.  I totally get it.

Sun (positive) in square to Pluto (negative) means you need to increase your awareness of your own inherent power.  Sun is light, Pluto is dark – find your balance.  Focus your awareness on the dark within.  See it and own it.  Own both the light and the dark.  Life is both.

You choose where you want to dwell – to accept your power, Sun square Pluto, find your center.   Ground yourself.  Pay attention to your larger surroundings, (your place in the web) then focus on yourself.  Your breathing, your blood pulsing, your heart.  Go micro web, see ?  Find those electro-magnetic intersections on your web of life within as well.

Focus on, feel out, and define your bodies in space:
electrical, physical
emotional
etheric
thought
spiritual

Know who, where and when you are regardless of changing circumstances.  Be in your own place of power.  This is a daily thing, by the way – keep at it.  Live your life as a walking talking prayer to raising your power – intentions set  – locked and loaded – to metamorphose your inner tension between light and dark into personal power in a healthy way.

Be aware of course, we are in Uranus square Pluto times, we will all likely have to lock and re-load often, as times and circumstances are changing rapidly.   As circumstances change, so will directions and intentions – stay focused, light on your feet, be ready to bob and weave…

This is how you will bend power to your will – and in the end find your will power.

Amazing, just love this piece.
I would love to give credit to the artist if someone could help identify the work, that would be lovely….

I drew an oracle card the other day – The Scribe – Lady of the House of Books.  I got a kick out of it, since I love libraries (Mercury rules, is at my MC) and yes, I have lots of books.  I returned yet another ipod deck.  This one produced sound, yet would not charge, so I traded it for books.  Books work.  Crack & read – snap !

The Saturn Rx in me gets quite irate that nearly everything mass produced is not worth what it costs to make it, ship it, market it, and sell it.  The final product is made quickly with no intention of lasting past a year (or two) and if the buyer is lucky – it might make it longer.  If it breaks, throw it away – who fixes things anymore ?  I have tried and I was laughed outta town.

Saturn thinks long term, works over the long haul, believes in sweat equity and walks the talk.  Saturn is exalted in Libra at the moment, but yes, it IS headed for the house of Scorpio.

Collective gasp from the astro crowd ! 

Scorpio = sex, death, taxes, client money, the unseen, metaphysics and transformation. 

Saturn = restriction, limitations, perseverance, concentration, thrift, work, discipline and constriction.

Restriction on any ONE of these Scorpio things is enough to send some people spinning.  It will be okay.  I have had Saturn as chart ruler, retrograde, in its fall my whole life.  We will be okay while Saturn transits Scorpio – we just have to be prepared to suck it up and deal.  This is a test.  Perfect and deepen. 

Saturn has a tendency to be melancholy and pessimistic.  When Saturn kicks in – and it will – recognize, respect, and release.  Work hard and put one foot in front of the other, rest well, eat healthy and keep firm strong boundaries in all areas of your life – particularly in your house of Scorpio, Taurus (opposite), Leo and Aquarius (square).

I will write more about boundaries later, but first – needs / wants – supply / demand.
Scorpio is ‘ours’ and Saturn while in Scorpio will oppose the house of  ‘I have’.  That means deals, co-operation and compromise with others over love $, sex, worth, possessions.

Saturn restricts – so expect money flow, love flow, overall worth and yes, peace of mind to be log jammed.  Scorpio is secrets and mystery lurking underneath the surface, so speaking as one who has lots of 8th house and Scorp/Pluto action – when both planets are in mutual reception, just be sure to have boundaries in place and safety nets.

By this I mean POWER is on the menu – Who is ordering it – Who is serving it – and Who is gobbling it up.  Saturn uses, in Scorpio – unlimited power and desires are ready to be tapped – do so wisely.  Keep your boundaries strong so others don’t tap you as well.  Power over oneself is the greatest show of strength.

Pluto reveals and transforms – in Capricorn this is (generally) ambition, status, work and authority, older people.  Look to your Capricorn house for where you will be facing  ginormous growth, via revelations and rebirth.  Look to your Scorpio house for where you will be tested and perfected.  Think funneling an elephant through the eye of a needle.   Streamline everything.  Keep it Simple.

Saturn by transit sends the energies of the house into lock down mode – brakes – and pressure.  As far as love, it’s been a coon’s age since I had a date, and the world hasn’t tilted or anything.  I live.  In fact, I live happily.

As far as money… Saturn knows the difference between wants and needs.  Repair instead of replace, buy things that are well-made and built to last.  Buy what is beautiful and useful,  learn the value of barter or trade, share resources, make do with less, live simply.

For instance, I don’t have cable tv (rabbit ears, 3 channels maybe – equals about $1,200 saved / yr), my stereo is old only plays vinyl, my truck is too – paid in full. I wear the same clothes all the time, don’t eat out, or go on vacation, or go to movies, my splurges consist of DVDs and books (non-fic, reference).  I don’t drive on weekends.  I grow my own food.  You get the idea, thrift. 

What I need is  3 hots and a cot, same for the kitties, $ for health, fuel and internet service so I can work.  That’s about it.

Now on to supply / demand.
Saturn restricts by nature, and Scorpio is fixed, immovable.
We have to prepare to actively generate flow whenever possible.

Physical reality begins with the MIND and WILL. 

Here are some guided questions to help solidify the boundaries of where you need to be headed.  These questions will alter perceptions  and create flow of supply.

For best results – be specific !
* Note: during metamorphosis, answers may change frequently – revisit if necessary !

1.  What do you physically need to live ?  Spiritually ?  Emotionally ?  

2.  What is your soul’s purpose ?  What is your powerful ally ?  Your greatest strength ?  What brings you your deepest joy ?  If you had unlimited time and funds – what would you be doing ?

3.  What do you feel you lack ?   Think about how to transform this energy ‘lack’ by giving back in that area.  The healer is also healed.

4. What do you have ?  List and be grateful.  Often.

5.  What can you give ?  Time, knowledge, wisdom, joy…?  All that and more ?  Share what you have in abundance.

6.  Are you open to giving and receiving ?  The giver also receives – it is an energy exchange.  Be open to accepting unusual gifts of spirit being delivered in unexpected ways.  The door opening for you may not be the door you knocked on, accept your soul growth with grace.

7.  Are you building bridges ?  Light a candle rather than curse the darkness. Giving and receiving creates friendships and strengthens bonds of fellowship.

Shadows take flight

Neptune, lovely Neptune … currently retrograde in Pisces mulling over past artistic endeavors, spiritual studies, mystical leanings, idealistic visions and /or far-out hypnotic illusions, delusions, longings out flat-out lies.

Neptune is the higher octave of Venus – in square(separating) while Mars is quincunx from (Venus ruled) Libra – love shadows and fog are all over the shop.

Quincunx is simply adaptation & improvisation – metamorph in progress.
Actions & ideals re: all forms of love are up to bat.

Retrograde revises, re-works and re-invents ways of working the Neptunian energies of the above.  Early degree Sagittarians are getting the re-applying square.  That means you hash out the difficult energies within.

:: NOTE:: North Node is at 4 degrees Sagittarius at the mo – so we are ALL re-inventing and morphing our future paths.  Square means growth – every time !

Late degree Leos are also getting the re-applying opposition, my sympathies.  I have my hand up on this one – Venus conj Jupiter late Leo here, pffft.

Currently Neptune is (separating) square the Venus Jupiter conjunction in Gemini. while Chiron, also retrograde applies to exact at 9 degrees Pisces.  

How to heal ?  Do we have to re-open the wound in order to let it breathe ?  Chiron sextiles Pluto in Capricorn – work the opportunity that waits in your house of Capricorn.

Chiron is quincunx Mercury in Leo –  while Cancer Sun comes to square Saturn in Libra.  

Be proud, sure – roaring it in all directions : not a good idea.  Cancer Sun is touchy with Saturn closing in.  Fair warning !  Let Saturn lead you to quiet balance in thought, and deeds will follow…

Libra Mars and Aries Uranus oppose each other from air to fire – they are the stress points of a kite ( with a loose grand air trine) so might want to contemplate your actions a bit before firing off any hot missives.

Mars is feeling most of the heat – Uranus wants to buck like a bronco.
 Opposite = compromise with another who is in your face.   Take heed, Mars and Uranus can be explosive.

Saving the day is Mercury in Leo quintile Saturn in Libra – and a lovely Venus Jupiter conjunction in sextile to Mercury and Uranus (Mercury and Uranus trine one another).   Possibility of far-out incoming messages are off the charts !  Keep the energies clear and hi qi around yourself / your environs for full throttle positive growth !

Metamorph is in progress on many levels – some or most of it – you may want to keep it close to the vest at the moment.  Lay plans in your thoughts (air trine) first and foremost.

Then preparation will meet opportunity via Uranus as the sextiles kick in and the opposition closes – ya dig ?!

Meaning it squares Venus + Jupiter in Leo.

TARDIS has relevance, believe me – in my chart and those of loved ones.

First, about asteroids: some use only the aspect of conjunctions for reasons of strength – I use them all.

An example – I was at a friend’s party – I met my future husband’s eyes from across the room.  Across the hallway first in high school, then later after I graduated from college.  *Instant sparks*  the vibe was coursing across the room – our energy was building until we had a heh. transit later that evening … then – BOOM !
You see, the first vibe paved the way for the transit later, so this is why I count all the aspects – close and far.

Now for how to read TARDIS in your chart…

TARDIS was conjunct Saturn ( rules time, of course ! )  in Scorpio when it was discovered – in a sky full of retrogrades – 7 retrogrades !  That is rare.
