I grabbed mine yesterday.  It is small, knobby, and egg shaped with delightful patterns of pink and grey.  I choose my stones by instinct as I walk out the door.  I will carry one that resonates with me on that particular day.  Good choice it turns out as Mars Rx in Virgo is opposite Venus in Pisces.

Someone seems to be itching to start a fight over spirtual / healing modalities.  I have Mars on the 12th sign of Sagittarius, Sun / Uranus / Pluto on the 9th (natural house of Sagittarius).  For those of you unfamiliar with astrology ~
It all adds up to me being an open-minded, freedom – loving spiritual explorer.

Synchronicities between new friends are popping up quite a bit the last few days, the last gasp of Neptune in Aquarius !  Synchronicity and friends are Aquarian ruled.  Pisces / Neptune are the cosmic connections, the net, the web of life.

As Neptune shifts signs, little oddities and revelations will be zinging around, particularly relevant as Saturn (traditional ruler of Aquarius) is stationing retrograde with a Full Moon on the 7th, four days later.
Saturn is in Air (communications) and Neptune will be in Water (emotions), Full Moon will be in Fire (actions regarding your passion).  Full Moon will bring clarity to your Leo House, a culmination in creative action followed by a spreading of seeds (disseminating moon) of knowledge  gained in the last moon cycle as the moon wanes to dark.

Neptune eases closer to home plate and already I can feel my body getting pickier about the food I ingest.  I had just a taste of meat a couple of days ago – forget it.  Couch time, sick.

Neptune girl will be good, green leaves, lotsa H20, meditation and quiet.  It’s better for my ethric body, I work and think better when not working on all cylinders to digest.  Moon and Cancer rule indigestion and I have Moon on 4th (natural Cancer house) opposite Neptune in the natal.  Stomach issues due to sensitivity.  Also, I am a multiple conjunct Virgo which is opposite Pisces – so compromise with the digestive process (Virgo).  Heads UP, Neptune cometh…

different dimensions

I am off for a few, cleaning and clearing the energy in my home.
Then I will return to organizing this site.  Thank you for your patience.

Neptune is flowing, soon to return home to Pisces on February 3, 2012.
She will relax in home waters for 14 years until 2024/5.

Neptune is my most highly aspected planet, and I feel the need to move and grow myself.  My Mars is in Sagittarius (my 12th house sign- Pisces natural home) conjunct Vesta (hearth and home, sacred fire) I follow my intuition, it is time.

Vesta is conjunct Venus in the sky now in the sign of Pisces.  She is activating my 2nd and 8th houses.  (What is mine and what belongs to others.)  Mars is Rx in Virgo, the need to sort and purge (Mars is applying to natal Pluto ! ) financial documents (Venus rules money) and a fire (Mars) will be lit tomorrow eve !  I will return soon after the weekend (USA) refreshed, invigorated, with energy flowing.  WoOo HoOo

Hafiz (1320-1391), born Shams-ud din Mahommed, was a Persian sufi poet. He studied poetry was in the Sufic Order of Dervishes and was an interpretive professor of the Koran.  He knew the Koran by heart – leading to his pen-name, Hafiz, or ‘one who remembers’.

His poetry was wild for his day – love and wine and enjoying life, he rejected Sunni law, causing him to be banned.  He was a free – thinking heretic, wildly popular in his lifetime.  When it came time to bury Hafiz – authorities questioned if it would be allowed on sacred ground.

By this time his poetry had become so famous that his works were used for divination.
(I mean really ~ how cool is that ?!)

The authorities consulted his work for the answer of burial.
Turn not away from the bier of Hafiz,
Steeped in sin, he will enter Paradise.
Hafiz was buried in the center of a cemetery in Shiraz.

something stirs

I’m mainlining Pluto – you ?  Mars and Uranus too, the whole lot, hackles are up and cursing is online.  I am having the righteous indignation transit in spades.  Going nuclear over idiotic annoyances.  Can’t seem to beg steal or borrow zen.
My night off bit the dust as soon as I walked in the door – night off ? Zen ?  HA !
I am too busy slaying dragons for zen.  I am Zen Dragon.  My new mantra, lol.
I will make this short.  For your sake.  Get to the astro and otherwise, STFU.

Progressions.  Looked at yours ?  The angles are the most important.
1st, 4th, 7th, 10th.   What is going on there ?  It will add dimension guaranteed.

Where is your Moon ?  You will feel your progressed Moon.
Look to what house has progressed to the angles. 
Weave between the natal progressions and transits to build your story. 
Progressions will activate what is present in the natal. 

For example, my progressed Moon is square progressed Venus which has just passed over natal Uranus.  I started this site roughly 7 months ago because my feelings, my love for astrology had to be expressed.
Moon = feelings.  square = internal. Venus = love  Uranus= astrology.
Mercury = expression / healing (Chiron)

Another example, my progressed Moon is in Capricorn, not the easiest place since Moon fluctuates, likes room to move and Capricorn steadies and solidifies.  My progressed Moon is conjunct Mars.  Feeling aggressive and issues with males – yes.
Yet : Mars is exalted in Capricorn so I work, work and work.  This turns out to be a very good thing… because…

My seventh house is locked and loaded – Venus is crammed between Uranus and Pluto.  That’s serious change -ups in love $$ and dealing with others.  Uranus, in the seventh, which rules astrology is opposite Saturn in the first, which is work and self.
I am finding the compromise between the two.
Progressed ASC is my natal 2nd house my $$, worth, esteem.
Progressed MC is conjunct natal Mars in Sagittarius, so work lots, sleep little.
Progressed DC is on natal Jupiter, learning and teaching.

Transit Mars applies again to natal Pluto, while transit Pluto applies to natal Saturn.
Hammering out the Virgo details, the forge the hammer and steel.

I love this pic… everyone in the Helm’s deep scenes filmed – in the dark – in the rain – for weeks.  A labour of love.  Peter is keen on the fight scenes, obviously.  What grandeur the cast and crew created by slogging it out in the rain and mud, yes..?!

What is worth fighting for ?

upside down and backwards

In typical Uranian fashion the events of the last few days have been insightful, surprising and weird.   Just how I like ’em !

Witness the energy flux around Mars as it ‘slows in the sky’ to go retrograde this evening.

Last night, my Mars quintile Uranus was sending off bolts out of the blue ~>
I shall list for you…
New Moon in Aquarius was bringing an electrical zing to the dark moon to be followed by Mars retrograde this evening.
There was a CME alert.
There was a Thor’s Hammer thunderstorm in the middle of January over my house, with lightning flashing all around me while I wrote the el Duderino post.
A fly (again is the middle of January here – not fly season)  landed on the computer screen while I wrote then landed near my ear just to make a point.
Flies fly, and flight and aviation is Uranian.

Fly totem:

Ability to change waste into valuable assets

Adaptation to the harshest environments


Compared with simple eyes, compound eyes possess a very large view angle, and can detect fast movement and, in some cases, the polarization of light.
What is polarization of light you ask ?

Uranus is the higher octave of Mercury – it is spiritual sight, etheric vision.
I have Sun conjunct Uranus / Pluto in Virgo where Mars is currently active.

Flies see a million things all at once, are speedy and aerodynamic landing upside down and backwards if need be.

Jeff Bridges

May I introduce Sagittarian actor, musician, vintner and artist Jeff Bridges.  Jeff was born into a family of actors, his Mom, Dad and his older brother, Beau.  Jeff made his first onscreen appearance at the tender age of four months.

His first big break was in The Last Picture Show, when he became one of the youngest actors ever to be nominated for an Academy Award at age 22 (1971, Best Supporting Actor, The Last Picture Show), and at age 60, Jeff became one of the oldest ever to win (2010, Best Actor, Crazy Heart).

I just watched True Grit and of course, loved it.  I loved Starman and have been to Barringer crater, which is featured in the movie, and it’s fabulous !
Starmans expression when he tried Dutch Apple Pie..?  Priceless.

I loved The Last Picture Show, Fearless, The Big Lebowski, (obviously a classic), The Fisher King, Men Who Stare at Goats, Tron, the list goes on and on…
I have spent my life watching Jeff light up the screen, so I wasn’t too surprised to find out he’s a Sagittarius.
(I am a Sagittarius magnet, it seems, I am naturally prone to fancy them, since I have lots of Sag energy myself.)

Jeff is a life path 3 (the zero adds power) which is a path of growth, flowering, and new directions unfolding out of the balance of 2.

He is a Virgo rising, with chart ruler Mercury in the 4th trine Pluto in creative Leo, on the 11th (natural house of Aquarius) a visionary placement for an artist.  Sun (exact conjunct Chiron) trine Pluto from the nadir (conjunction straddles the 3/4th) and Jeff is a natural gypsy story-teller (4th is the house of Cancer, they can spin a yarn like no other) with an optimistic heart.  Through his craft, he shows others how to heal themselves through communicating the need for loving acceptance of the natural human beauty found within us all.  (The nadir is the deep well of self, where and how we restore balance, trine Pluto in 11th.)

He shines a light on human relationships through his exquisite ability to morph and change in the public eye.  Gemini at mid-heaven and Jeff can fully embody chameleon-like qualities for his career – this is particularly evident with Uranus (polarities and change) elevated as well as Moon (fluctuation, imagination).

Uranus in the 10th has no major aspects – making Jeff a mavericks maverick !  Uranus is rebellious and innovative and without major aspects reigning it in, it is truly wild and free !  Having Uranus quintile the Ascendant gives him the ability to be unpredictable in the eyes of others via work and career.  This quality is further shown by his predominately mutable chart. The quincunx to the artistic Venus (art in the 29th or culmination degree) Jupiter conjunction in the creative 5th house (Sun – creativity – naturally rules) gives Jeff a super – charged ability to build a life – long eclectic career in the arts.
I am tickled Jeff has Venus conjunct Jupiter, because I do as well, but in Leo !  He is very well liked by his co-stars (Venus is kind /Jupiter expands), and is described as exceptionally easygoing (Sagittarius).

His craft is deep and thoughtful (Pluto ruling 3rd) and he derives a tremendous strength from family (strong Nadir placements, Moon trine Venus and Jupiter).  He has been especially influenced by males (Sun trine Pluto) and had worked very close with both his father and brother throughout his life (Mars conjunct Saturn).

He is known for working hard, and when young appeared on his fathers television show, Sea Hunt  with his brother on several occasions (Mars conjunct Saturn conjunct Ascendant). Squares from the Mars Saturn conjunction to Moon at the mid-heaven represents the Sagittarius need to explore his own path, make his own mark with the public (Moon).  Neptune in Venus-ruled Libra trine Moon in 9th and Jeff documents his films and travels on film, he is an avid photographer.

Sun at the nadir opposite Moon at mid-heaven shows that he loves his home life a great deal, but his restless nature calls him out to learn and communicate his feelings through his work.  North Node of Destiny in Aries (Mars rules) and Jeff has a path before him of blazing new trails in showing the depth of human nature (8th) through his work (Mars conjunct Saturn).
