January 9, 2012 at 1:30 AM CST, USA is the Full Moon in Cancer at 18 degrees.

I am looking at the natal chart for the Full Moon and it occurs to me the lovely trines and sextiles look like a step in cats cradle (click).

It wouldn’t be a Cancer Full Moon post if I didn’t share some weird memory, right ?  Well, here it is…my art story…
When I was in grade school I made a string picture.  You know the one, dip the string in paint, swirl it on the paper, smack another paper on top and press, then pull out the string, peel apart the papers and see what it looks like ! My Dad framed mine (so sweet, yeah ?) and it hung on the wall of his den for years, so I remember what it looks like.  I laid out the string in blues and greens in the pattern of the aspects in my natal chart before I even knew what it looked like.  No. Kidding.  How weird is that ?!

Now on to the Full Moon chart:
Jupiter in Taurus opposite Saturn in Libra is a tug of war between going large in art, money and love < -or- >  being thrifty, economical, balanced and practical.
Sun opposite Full Moon will bring focus to Cancerian matters (home, family, the root of your root, the deep watery well of your psyche) expect to find some new developments in these areas.   Look to 18 degrees in the house of Cancer in your natal chart for more clues.
This Full Moon will be opposite (others involvement) Capricorn and square (your internal struggle) Aries and Libra, also look there.

Mercury conjunct Pluto in Capricorn trine Jupiter in Taurus – not only are powerful communications off the chart, but they are grounded, firm in earth.  Thinking will also be grinding our internal gears with Mercury/Pluto in a knockout square to intuitive Uranus in gung – ho Aries.

Who do you think would win a head butt competition between Capricorn and Aries…?!

What will we be learning and what will we do about it is going to be rattling around in our heads as Mercury is in square to Mars in self-improvement prone Virgo during the Full Moon.  Mercury is also squaring Uranus, it is the focal point of a T-Square, so thinking and talking is most definitely on the table during this Full Moon.

Luckily, Mercury is simmering in the Saturnian (slow, patient) cooker of Capricorn giving the quicksilver tongue time to think before blurting something only to regret later.
Mercury/Pluto are also sextile Saturn, crunching the numbers, and doing the work for long-term results.

What I find really terrific about this sky is the trines !   And the sextiles !
Mercury/Pluto conjunction – intense thinking and communiques in trine (ease) to exploratory happy -go- lucky Jupiter.

 The above are sextile the conjunction below : intense curiosity and cerebral twists surrounding art, mysticism, love and $ !

Venus/Neptune/Chiron conjunction – transcendent art, spiritual love and mysticism in trine to eathy manifestor, Saturn the builder.  Last chance for some Uranian style Venus conjunct Neptune universal cosmic love vibrations, in Full Moon fashion.
Full Moon amps up the emotional volume, work it !
So, hear ye, hear ye, groovy peeps ~ set your frequencies to peace, love and healing while Venus, Neptune and Chiron spark it up !

Make art, write poetry, eat good food, play, laugh, water your roots !

That outgoing Mars power has the opportunity to make emotional inroads as well with a sextile to the Full Moon.

Freya (Freia) is a Norse goddess of the Vanir (nature deities).  She is the goddess of love and beauty, protectress of the world, and patron saint of wise and powerful magical women.

She can be found on the fields of war receiving the slain in a chariot driven by two blue cats.  She is wise in magic and wears a cloak of feathers which allows her to transform into a falcon.  Freya rules over the plants, earth and animals of the forest and can be called upon to assist in affairs of love.
She wears a finely woven golden amber necklace whose power cannot be resisted, called Brisingamen which was purchased from dwarves.

Friday is the day of Freya (called by the Romans, Venus).

Hello beautiful people~
This post is for my friend Andromeda who was asking about an I Ching tarot deck.
This is the I Ching – Holitzka published by AGMueller, artist: Klaus Holitzka.

One card draw, with spirit message from the bottom of the deck.
Intention: enlightenment and clear vision on the path to the most benevolent outcome for all readers.

The first card I drew seemed too personal, so I asked the cosmos to delve deeper but more universal.
The universe answered with this card.  haha, that works !

Higher Octave

ok.  So here’s the deal.
Nobody gets outta here alive, folks.
We’ve been dying since the day we were born.
I’m not gonna bring the gloom and doom.
Instead, here’s some love and light.

After all, Mercury rules numbers and is presently conjunct Venus which rules love.
Both planets are at 11 degrees or 2 – balance, relationship between two forces.

11:11 on 11.11.11  ?

What does it mean to you ?  It will happen twice on this day so does
11:11 AM mean illumination, happiness ?
11:11 PM darkness, despair ?

It’s up to you !

It’s a matter of polarities.
Yin/yang, positive/negative, attract/ repel.
It is a matter of polar opposites finding their balance.

It is an awareness of the choice between the two  that counts.

Do you see the rose or the thorn ?
Do you light a candle or curse the darkness ?

I mean c’mon admit it, we all have our bad days.
The attitude / altitude we carry within is what makes the difference.

33 is a higher octave of 6 (see above) and is the number of illumination, the master teacher and healer.  It is the flower of life, creation.

Phantasmagoric

Hello lovely people~
Today’s reading features the Phantasmagoric Theater Tarot deck by Graham Cameron.
One card draw to determine the best possible energies to vibe as we enter the times ahead.  Intent being the most benevolent outcome for all of us.

When I say times ahead, I am speaking of Neptune direct on the 9th.

Chiron direct on the 10th.
Mars into Virgo on the 10th.
Full Taurus Moon on the 10th.  (USA)

I sense a big spiritual vibe here: what’s mine, yours and ours as the collective tribe.

Mars in Virgo puts super-efficient power behind the healing vibe, Neptune and Chiron the same on a cosmic scale.
Virgo sees the details – what needs to be done – and Neptune senses it.
Taurus (full moon) is Venus (love) ruled, and Neptune is the higher octave of Venus.  Neptune is the lightbearer for the spiritual sun.  Personal love transcendent – a love and respect for all fellow earthkind.

Swingers

It’s a void moon in Pisces and Uranus is trine the Mercury Venus conjunction so grab your pendulums, folks.

Uranus rules pendulums.
Mercury + Venus = love communication.
Pisces is the cosmos, divination; the Moon, intuition, receptivity.
A trine is the easy swift path between energies.

Moon enters Aries at 1:02 pm Sunday, CST USA.

A void moon is when the moon is not making any significant aspects before leaving the sign it is in.  The Moon rules feelings, intuition, fluctuation, subconscious, the public.  When the moon is adrift in the sky (so to speak) all these matters may wildly fluctuate.

Some folks say that the time of a void moon is a time to stop everything that involves judgement, signing contracts, starting projects or otherwise getting involved with decision making.    I suggest you follow your intuition where this is concerned, though I do suggest caution, after all…better safe than sorry.

Neptune is my most highly aspected planet and it falls in the 11th (natural house of Aquarius, Uranus rules) and my Sun is conjunct Uranus, meaning I get the vibes, and I go with it.  I treat most void moons as if they were dark moons, or introspective times to retreat into quiet thinking, contemplation- a time for release.

I sense it is very similar to a momentary retrograde where the moon energies take a break from going out, and instead flow inward.  It is very much like a high tide and low tide- after all moon is what brings the ocean tides.  The energies are flowing from the outside towards the inside.  Prime divination time- try it !

Above all, the Moon is intuitive so go with what you feel regarding void moons.

As a rule I get better results from a pendulum when I am not feeling well.

Here’s why : Moon rules Cancer, which rules the breast and stomach.  I have Moon (intuition) on the 4th (natural house of Cancer) in Taurus (exalted) opposite Neptune (divination) in Scorpio (metaphysics, the unseen) on the 11th (natural house of Uranus-pendulums- ruled Aquarius).  Uranus rules stress, pendulums, and my stomach issues are stress-induced with high-strung energies of Mercury (MC) and Uranus strong in my chart.  Mercury (communication) is sextile (oportunity) the 8th (unseen) and Uranus is sextile Neptune (opportunity for whammy divination), so if my vibes are outta whack, or strong Uranus action is happening- Yowsa !

I have successfully dowsed a hidden water line in my backyard, the gender of unborn babies, and scratch-off lotto wins.  (No I won’t give you the winning numbers, lol. )

Each user generally has a particular direction for yes, no, maybe that is unique to them.  When I began dowsing, I asked which direction meant each answer and it has followed the same since- except when I change pendulums.  In which case, I ask the new pendulum for each direction/ answer when I begin.

I have used Odin stones on leather thongs, forked sticks, rods, rings.
Sacred space, reverence and purpose is the key.  I ask each time I enter sacred space what means what and move forward from there. Some pendulums differ directionally or are very fast/slow it depends on the pendulum. Each pendulum has an inherent energy signature.  Merry meet, find ways & part.

I have 3 crystal pendulums and vary the stone pendulum in accordance to the type of question being asked.  In matters of health and love I have an amethyst & rose quartz, for business I use sardonyx.  I also have a faceted clear crystal which has an energy that is off the charts ~ it is like the Ferrari of pendulums, seriously ~ quicksilver, fast and wild !

Makes sense, since Mercury is quicksilver, and Uranus is Mercury’s higher octave- facets in a gem allow for more refraction of light.  Sun is light, illumination, Mercury quicksilver communication, Uranus prisms, telepathy, Neptune rainbows and divination.

Dowsing works well with a forked stick and a ring on a string, so don’t get the impression that I am all about needing fancy stone pendulums.  Simply open your mind and your eyes to the possibilities, everything on Earth is sacred and vibrating at one speed or another…as long as it swings, it’ll work.

Check your chart for where Mercury, Uranus and Neptune fall and the aspects they make for an indication of your dowsing talents.  

Before I go, one last thing…my brother Jeff (mega- Aquarian) took me to the Wheel Bar in Estes Park, Colorado in the early 80’s where we sat and watched this giant pendulum (that I put into motion) make a spirograph drawing while we ate.
Was the coolest thing ever for 2 Uranian arty types to be doing, really.  (Uranus also rules scientific contraptions.)
