the square root of a kiss is a hum
 i hum under my breath when i contemplate
the drum of your heartbeat
and my heart beats for your breath
 i revel in the wind for mere glimpses

i’m tornado over you
would you look into the eye of my storm
 i whirlwind through your life like breeze

The more I study astrology, the more I love to watch the energies of synastry unfold.
It fascinates me – the underlying theme that makes people tick / tock. 
I’m a Leo Venus in 8th; a cat burglar picking human energetic frequency locks.

Where is the high voltage ? 
How do we plug into each others sockets ? 
Where are we grounded ?
Where are we getting love morphine straight to the vein ?  <~ Yeah baby, I want sommadat.

Here’s how you do it.  Get your natal, get natal of the person you are keen to figure out.
Drop their natal planets into your natal chart.  Eg. put their Aries Mars into your Aries house, their Taurus Sun into your Taurus house…etc… all around the wheel drop their planets into your houses.

Conjunctions are areas where the energy works together like a team of horses – same polarity and element, there is innate understanding, see life from the same vantage point.

Trines are where co-operation is easy – same polarity, same element, yet different signs, different natures, similar expression through a different approach.

Squares are friction and obstacles where positive meets negative, different elements – energy is restless.  Ignore at your peril !  Solve your squares, and you have the relationship growth you are looking for.  Squares operating well are more powerful than a trine when well oiled and firing on all pistons – because you are covering more bases – more polarities, more elements to express the energy.

Oppositions are compromises of the same polarity, different elements – indicates a juggling of power and energies.  My turn / your turn type of thing.

Sextiles are the same polarity, different elements – they indicate areas of opportunity, growth and merging of energy.  Sextiles must be activated, you have to look for the opportunities here, you have to make them happen.

A few examples:

My Super Sag ex has Jupiter smack on my Saturn, that feels good, lemme tell ya.  Happy-go-lucky, life of the party Jupiter on Old Cuss sourpuss Saturn ?  Hell yeah it felt good.  My Saturn trines my Sag Mars, so his Jupiter does too.  We traveled all over the states to hear live music.  We went on tour and threw down hard . . . good times though. I have a ton of Sag energy for not actually being one. 
Note: learned astrology = mystery solved re: why I have dated so many Sagittarians !

The major stumbling block – his 4 planet Sag stellium (falls in my 12th) squares my Virgo Sun/Ura/Plu stellium. His personal planets were drug into surprise metamorphosis that is, well, me.  and vice versa.  Note: energy does go both ways.  His Moon smack on my Moon – we felt the same about many things, particularly music and partying – we both have a killer Moon Neptune opposition. This ended up not being not so good, obviously.  I still dream about the curve ball surprises he dished up: part and parcel of the 12th house activation.

 My Dad had Uranus smack on my Toro Moon (trine my stellium), Suns trine, Saturns conjunct (which trined my Mars and his Venus which were conjunct).  When he was in the hospital and I would show up, the nurses always remarked how quickly his blood pressure / heart rate would normalize.

I recently met someone with Virgo Moon – conjunct my Sun, trine my Moon.  His Mars smack on my Moon, his 8th house stellium conjuncts my Saturn and trines my Mars. I mentally noted how weird it was that I felt comfortable right off the bat.  We dove into metaphysical subjects straight away when we hung out, and he was picking up on all things astro / tarot lickety-split. My Sag Mars sextiles his Jupiter in Aquarius – if he wants to learn astro, he’s got a teacher, but he has to ask for it.  haha

So I am at home today sucking back juice and GSE (grapefruit seed extract) trying to fend off this cold flu thing watching Avatar and it occurs to me – my life parallels this art.

Virgo Sun / Uranus / Pluto in 9, here.
Life, sudden death – metamorphosis – polarity reversal, awareness.

Jake loses a brother, goes into stasis, wakes to be thrown into a completely foreign (virtually deadly) world, rich with unknown hostile giants of tooth & claw.   As is present in all life, polarities emerge: Pandora slowly reveals herself to be breathtakingly divine: she is life-changing and affirming, she is exquisitely engaging and enriching.

My shining team of 9th house horses that were pulling the same plow at my birth are now at odds and I am basically figuring how to get some cohesion in energy expression through positive outlets with two cranky, snapping horses going two different directions.  Sun is where YOU SHINE in the natal, and right now my shine feels more like coal being compressed.

All earthkind is experiencing this square and a revision of personal goals as they relate to us globally as ONE.  (Uranus and Pluto are slow moving generational planets)

We are under a Sagittarius (heading into dark) moon, with Venus hours away from the Capricorn party – – Pluto, Mercury, Sun and a tidy little applying square to Uranus.

This show’s not over yet, babes – and it’s bound to get tweaked a little weirder in the coming few !  So head’s UP !

birds of a feather

I’ve been thinking about Saturn, totems, time, family, promises and bonds.

Totem poles are carved to delineate family ancestry, clan history, folklore or real life, or to commemorate a particular individual.

A widespread hawk swooped down today as I was driving and landed in the median next to me.  (No, I am not going to tell you if he landed left or right – time in my life is fluid, in flux, always.)

We were in synch – hawk landed at the exact moment I passed – just as I was speaking my heart aloud.  Yes exact is the term I use because in that moment my words formed a bond.  Hard to explain, but messages from my brother are accentuated in hawks – hawk messages are exclamation points.

Hawks form a bridge between past and present.
Hawk was a manifestation of Grand Air Trine meets physical plane. 

My brother and Father recently visited in an intuitive reading, via Mercury, Pluto, and Sun in Capricorn….totems, time, family, promises and bonds.

I feel their presence, sometimes more than others, but then I feel your presence as I write this too.  You…yeah you !  My readers, wondering where I am leading you…and showing up regardless of the strange paths I take…many heartfelt thanks (deep bow).

So you are wondering why I speak of hawk, when a macaw greeted you at the door ?
Life is not so easily explained.

Many times the larger electro-magnetic spectrum is not apparent until the faceted human crystal is turned, attuned, Neptuned to the proper frequency.

What is said two years ago may not make sense until tomorrow.
A bird of the SUN, a Macaw, enlightens me. 
Is it You ?
Or is it Me ?
Most likely it is US.

Macaws are bold, colorful and Mercurial – they are very intelligent observers, mimics that communicate bird (Uranian) world – – to human (Saturnian) world.  The Macaw is a builder of bridges; an ambassador, a diplomat (Libra).  Clever and cheeky – they watch, pull pranks, turn jokes to delight and amuse. (Leo)

Macaws ARE portals between worlds.

Mercurial Macaws can also be repetitive copycats that speak without thinking.  Their words can be hollow, shallow, gossipy and twisted to be pleasing to the ear for a time, but not necessarily grounded, or in any way promisorial in nature.  Tricky pranksters that enjoy a leg – pull, they are master manipulators, who enjoy clowning around – not necessarily on any shared emotional time schedule, if you get my drift.

Macaws in my head are thinkbirdtankbrains : Mercury Uranus Libra and Leo.
Most importantly, the Hyacinth Macaws pictured above are red listed.
