quite clearly

How inappropriate to call this planet Earth when it is quite clearly Ocean.
~ Sir Arthur C. Clarke

Grand Master Science – Fiction author, Sir Arthur C. Clark was born to be a visionary in the public eye, he was a Sagittarius, with Sun conjunct North Node of destiny.

He was a futurist with Venus and Uranus in Aquarius  – Venus trine Jupiter in Gemini.  He had a knack for creative ideas, was fond of exploring, (he was an avid scuba diver) and he was an optimistic idea man with a mind bursting with possibilities.

In 1945, his paper the “Extra-terrestrial Relays” he set out the principles of satellite communication with satellites in geostationary orbits  – a speculation realized 25 years later. During the evolution of his discovery, he worked with scientists and engineers in the USA in the development of spacecraft and launch systems, and addressed the United Nations during their deliberations on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space.
Today, the geostationary orbit at 36,000 kilometers  above the equator is named The Clarke Orbit by the International Astronomical Union.

He had Saturn conjunct Neptune in Leo, lending a studied, reasoned approach to his creative writing of the cosmos.  He was fully aware the science fiction he wrote could very well one day become science fact.  Saturn and Neptune in opposition to Venus and Uranus indicates his balance between the mystical properties of fiction built from fact and blended into the future.

Mars in Virgo trine a Moon Mercury conjunction in Capricorn.    He was all about diligent methodical and accurate communication, obviously.  It was his idea to have satellites ‘hop’ signals across space aka satellite relays.
In World War II he served in the Royal Air Force as a radar specialist, working in early warning systems.

Pluto in Cancer opposite Mercury and Moon in Capricorn, he expressed ‘home’ in his novels as far from his doorstep as he could get, and led all his readers to envision new horizons as well.
He was building the future through science – fiction writing.

Wednesday November 9 at 12:54 pm, CST USA…
Neptune goes direct ~ >
turning to head back home to Pisces  ~>  WaaHoOoo YiPpiE !

There is light at the end of the tunnel for Pisces + Neptune peeps !
Hallelujah,  AMEN !

Direct motion begins at 28 degrees of Aquarius.
Neptune will drift ashore in Pisces on February 3, 2012.

She will relax in home waters for 14 years until 2024/5.
Bliss !

I felt such a powerful whoosh when Neptune was back in sign this summer.
Water on Water feels much better than Water Electrified.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Neptune (higher octave of Venus), is the planet of spiritual intelligence.
Being zapped by Uranus (the higher octave of Mercury) and flip-flopping polarities in an air sign known for detached scientific intelligence is not akin to Neptune’s dreamy, inspired, foggy, stealth.
Check 28 degrees in the house of Aquarius in your chart, for when Neptune goes direct, you will feel a shift in perspective  ~> an outward manifestation of dreams and visions cultivated during June to November in that house.
Swingers
It’s a void moon in Pisces and Uranus is trine the Mercury Venus conjunction so grab your pendulums, folks.
Uranus rules pendulums.
Mercury + Venus = love communication.
Pisces is the cosmos, divination; the Moon, intuition, receptivity.
A trine is the easy swift path between energies.
Moon enters Aries at 1:02 pm Sunday, CST USA.
A void moon is when the moon is not making any significant aspects before leaving the sign it is in.  The Moon rules feelings, intuition, fluctuation, subconscious, the public.  When the moon is adrift in the sky (so to speak) all these matters may wildly fluctuate.
Some folks say that the time of a void moon is a time to stop everything that involves judgement, signing contracts, starting projects or otherwise getting involved with decision making.    I suggest you follow your intuition where this is concerned, though I do suggest caution, after all…better safe than sorry.
Neptune is my most highly aspected planet and it falls in the 11th (natural house of Aquarius, Uranus rules) and my Sun is conjunct Uranus, meaning I get the vibes, and I go with it.  I treat most void moons as if they were dark moons, or introspective times to retreat into quiet thinking, contemplation- a time for release.
I sense it is very similar to a momentary retrograde where the moon energies take a break from going out, and instead flow inward.  It is very much like a high tide and low tide- after all moon is what brings the ocean tides.  The energies are flowing from the outside towards the inside.  Prime divination time- try it !
Above all, the Moon is intuitive so go with what you feel regarding void moons.
As a rule I get better results from a pendulum when I am not feeling well.
Here’s why : Moon rules Cancer, which rules the breast and stomach.  I have Moon (intuition) on the 4th (natural house of Cancer) in Taurus (exalted) opposite Neptune (divination) in Scorpio (metaphysics, the unseen) on the 11th (natural house of Uranus-pendulums- ruled Aquarius).  Uranus rules stress, pendulums, and my stomach issues are stress-induced with high-strung energies of Mercury (MC) and Uranus strong in my chart.  Mercury (communication) is sextile (oportunity) the 8th (unseen) and Uranus is sextile Neptune (opportunity for whammy divination), so if my vibes are outta whack, or strong Uranus action is happening- Yowsa !
Alex- “What is_____” for $500. lol
I have successfully dowsed a hidden water line in my backyard, the gender of unborn babies, and scratch-off lotto wins.  (No I won’t give you the winning numbers, lol. )
Each user generally has a particular direction for yes, no, maybe that is unique to them.  When I began dowsing, I asked which direction meant each answer and it has followed the same since- except when I change pendulums.  In which case, I ask the new pendulum for each direction/ answer when I begin.
I have used Odin stones on leather thongs, forked sticks, rods, rings.
Sacred space, reverence and purpose is the key.  I ask each time I enter sacred space what means what and move forward from there. Some pendulums differ directionally or are very fast/slow it depends on the pendulum. Each pendulum has an inherent energy signature.  Merry meet, find ways & part.
I have 3 crystal pendulums and vary the stone pendulum in accordance to the type of question being asked.  In matters of health and love I have an amethyst & rose quartz, for business I use sardonyx.  I also have a faceted clear crystal which has an energy that is off the charts ~ it is like the Ferrari of pendulums, seriously ~ quicksilver, fast and wild !
Makes sense, since Mercury is quicksilver, and Uranus is Mercury’s higher octave- facets in a gem allow for more refraction of light.  Sun is light, illumination, Mercury quicksilver communication, Uranus prisms, telepathy, Neptune rainbows and divination.
Dowsing works well with a forked stick and a ring on a string, so don’t get the impression that I am all about needing fancy stone pendulums.  Simply open your mind and your eyes to the possibilities, everything on Earth is sacred and vibrating at one speed or another…as long as it swings, it’ll work.
Check your chart for where Mercury, Uranus and Neptune fall and the aspects they make for an indication of your dowsing talents.
Before I go, one last thing…my brother Jeff (mega- Aquarian) took me to the Wheel Bar in Estes Park, Colorado in the early 80’s where we sat and watched this giant pendulum (that I put into motion) make a spirograph drawing while we ate.
Was the coolest thing ever for 2 Uranian arty types to be doing, really.  (Uranus also rules scientific contraptions.)
This post is dedicated to my friend who has lost a friend, and to my brother, Jeff who I miss every day.
Wowie Zowie
sigh…
What’s a Neptune girl to do on an Aquarian Moon when Mercury will soon pass over Venus for a quickie in Sagittarius ?
Talk, talk, talk about love ?
…but the planet of love and the planet of communication are holding hands in an apex of a biggie T-square with a Mystical Mars-y Neptooney opposition.
OooOoo and that lovely Electric Aquarian Moon is coming up to zap Neptuner within just a degree or so…
Neptune rules film, Aquarius, electricity.
~~~~~~~~~~

Did I mention Mercury and Venus are in Sagittarius ?  *loveLoveLOVE Saggos !

Transiting Mars is snug between my Venus Jupiter conjunction in Leo at the mo. and I am feelin groooOovy.

Gremlins

Personally, I think gremlins are Mercury ruled – tricksy, slippery little no-see-um gremlins !
Mercury just mowed down my giant Neptuner (twangs darn near everything in my chart) while she was off daydreaming, of course.

I have spent the greater part of the week showing the world my good side as I am retrieving something I dropped from the floor, banged my elbows on the way back up, I have spilled soup on – and broken the keyboard at work, and my modem at home that was just replaced, broke again, and I’m not even going into that 8th house BS.
In short, posts will resume asap, Sunday with luck.

Until then, listen to how similar the sounds of Uranus are to the Solfeggio Frequencies, don’t cha think..?

Savatiri

Savitri is a Sanskrit word meaning stimulator or rouser and is often associated with inspiration; it also has been used to refer to as the light of the Sun, the literal and spiritual Sun.

This light has the power to inspire us on many levels of our being.  Savitri, in fact, is not different from who we truly are…rather it is a symbol of the great power that exists within all beings, providing inspiration to strive higher to find the Truth- in our lives and of our existence.

MUMBAI, India (AP) — More than 200 Indian girls whose names mean “unwanted” in Hindi chose new names Saturday for a fresh start in life.  The 285 girls — wearing their best outfits with barrettes, braids and bows in their hair — lined up to receive certificates with their new names along with small flower bouquets from Satara district officials in Maharashtra state.

In shedding names like “Nakusa” or “Nakushi,” which mean “unwanted” in Hindi, some girls chose to name themselves after Bollywood stars like “Aishwarya” or Hindu goddesses like “Savitiri.”
Some just wanted traditional names with happier meanings, such as “Vaishali” or “prosperous, beautiful and good.”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This is such a joyous occasion for these young girls to be shed of the patriarchal confines of the label unwanted.  Unthinkable, a disgrace to all women, all people, everywhere to be deemed unworthy or unwanted solely based on their sex and/or gender.
This is just the beginning, the first step into a new world for these young girls !

Fabulous example of the current (Saturdays) astro:

Mother- Goddess Divine Feminine power Lilith opposite (taking back power) Sun and Saturn – male patriarchal driven society/authority.

Jupiter (hope, ethics)  in Taurus  (ownership, self-worth)  trine Pluto (overthrowing) Capricorn male authority and status quo.

Moon (feminine, soul, emotions) conjunct Mars (power) in Leo (heart, ego, will power), and pride.

Moon and Mars sextile (opportunity) Sun and Saturn (justice, status) in Venus-ruled (feminine, love, beauty) Libra, the sign of balance.

Neptune – creative names/naming conjunct Chiron the open wound that needs healing.

Mercury (names) conjunct Venus (beauty, love).

 We are now in the year of the Rabbit until January 23 of 2012, when we will enter the year of the dragon.
Dragons are creative, free, uninhibited, naturally confident and showy.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
 2012 will be a Water Dragon year which will make dragon more perceptive and patient.  They are likely to be highly involved with others, and advocating justice.  Water dragons are drawn to visionary metaphysical works.
(click here – in depth post on Water Dragon year)
Neptune (film, inspired art) is trine Venus ruled Libra today, the Sun is shining there on the house of artwork (Saturn is conjunct Sun and rules work- Venus rules art) and beauty.  Perfect example of Neptune (film) in the sign of Aquarius (the odd portraits, inspired photography via computer manipulations) !
Enjoy the photographs ~
