Alice Guy-Blaché

Alice was the first female film director, who completed her first work at the age of 23.  An amazing storyteller, she made the first narrative film – she saw the possibility of fun and creative play on film.  Alice was busy making hundreds of films when women weren’t even allowed to vote.  She synched sound with her films and also made the first known film with an all African-American cast.
Alice had a career in filmmaking spanning more than twenty-five years – she was a pioneer – directing, producing, writing and/or overseeing more than 1,000 films.
I love film, have a big Neptune (rules film), I had to look her up !

Sun in Cancer (storytellers spinning yarns around the tribal campfire anyone ?) trine Mars in Scorpio (confident drive to express power).   [Note: This is obviously a solar chart, no exact time deets.  I give big orbs to the luminaries, there is a 4 – 5 hour window where Moon would not trine Saturn even with my orbs, but since the odds are moon is in the other 20+ hours, I am going for grand earth trine.  – GMA]

She liked to work – she [likely] had a Grand Earth Trine (material plane) with Moon in Virgo (practical feelings) trine Saturn in Aquarius (forward thinking work vision)  The last piece of this trine is her whammy Pluto North Node of Destiny (future path) and Venus (arts, beauty) conjunction in Taurus, (which is Venus-ruled) giving her a powerful drive to create new crafts and forge new paths in the field of the arts.

Friction is needed in order for a soul to progress, for it is the hard knocks that teach us the most.  Alice has an (out-of-sign) Grand Cross which is two oppositions and four squares – looks like a big square with an X inside.  These energies force inner work and outer compromise (oppositions) with others – if solved they are more powerful than trines.

Remember I said creative innovative play… that is Mercury conjunct Uranus in Leo.  Octaves of communication in the house of creativity in opposition to Saturn (authority) in rebellious Aquarius.  Likely the men in her field saw her as likeable (Saturn trine Venus; Cancer Sun trine Mars) but odd, a no nonsense type of gal when it came to her work.  Whip smart and determined, she had a vision of great creative achievement (late degree Aries Neptune film in exact trine late degree Leo Jupiter largess – fire to fire – passionate, inspired) and she spent her life in pursuit of it !

Virgo, 6th house rules daily routine, health, responsibility to self and others via analysis.
Good health encompasses many things – mind, heart, body, emotions, spirit.

One path to health begins in the mind – in the perspective we choose.
Mercury (perspectives, thinking) rules Virgo.  

Mercury runs either very hot or very cold, depending on the side that is getting the attention of the Sun, much like people.  I’ll leave you to think on that one.

I was stunned by the news I heard today. 
A friend told me, thankfully, so it wasn’t quite as weird as hearing it from somewhere else, but make no mistake – it weirded me right out, regardless.

This man has a family, he is not public property and it takes big balls to even make such an asinine request.  He is not here for the permission giving, now is he ?

My point, if Michael Jackson opted for cryogenics while he was alive, coherent and full tilt boogie on coming back intact in a bazillion scientifically advanced years, that is his business, he decided, and it is altogether different. (For the record, I don’t know what MJ personal biz re: funeral arrangements, is, was, or claim to in any way shape or form, however; I do know MJ had rights to a great part of the Beatles back catalogue, but you don’t want to get me started on that either, fair warning.)

I have a great deal of respect for Julian and his mother, Cynthia and this post is primarily for them, also for Sean.

Wonder why I am seeing red ?  I did, so I looked at John’s chart again.

My Toro moon is exactly conjunct John’s Saturn/Jupiter conjunction in Toro.
Incidentally, my late father has Uranus Rx exact conjunct my Moon as well.

Uranus, weird surprises, the odd
So this tidbit about John really pitched my zen right out the window.

Remember I said it weirded me right out ?
John’s Toro Uranus is in exact trine to my Uranus in Virgo, which happens to be conjunct Sun and Pluto.
Sun is life.
Pluto is death, rebirth.

Is this science and who exactly is this healing ?

The natal chart can be read after death by looking at transits to natal energies.  We can see triggers that mean a biopic after death, a new release of archived material, or some weirdo waving a rotten tooth around.

John Lennon transits
Transiting North Node of Destiny at 10 degrees Scorpio, Saturn at 6 degrees conjunct natal Mercury (youth, messages, flipsides, and children) in Scorpio at 8.  I have been going on and on about streamlining the past, clearing the dross, (Saturn) healing (in Scorpio) in regards to metamorphosis (Scorpio is life, death and rebirth) into the destined future, (North Node) but this is not what I imagined when I wrote that – not by any means.

North Node of Destiny and Saturn are opposite (juggling energy with another) John’s Saturn/Jupiter conjunction in Taurus while also square Moon in Aquarius (feelings regarding science) and square Chiron (wounded healer) and Pluto (death,  metamorphosis, rebirth) in early Leo, which is ruled by the Sun, or life.

Uranus Rx (eccentricity, radical ideas, and oddly enough – astrologers) is transiting over John’s South Node aka: what was, while in square to a 9 degree Pluto (rebirth) at his midheaven (peak of public achievements) at 7 degrees Capricorn (past).

Transiting Mercury and Sun are conjunct John’s Venus in Virgo which forms a quincunx (change in altitude) to Moon in Aquarius (feelings and scientific awakenings).

Venus strong in Libra (she rules) is coming up to square Pluto Rx in Capricorn.  Love will have to sweat on the inner obstacle course in order to find harmony. 
Venus is also square Lilith in Cancer forcing change in personal expression of love, the feminine expression of independence, balance, harmony and justice. Feelings/family/feminine meets power/authority/work from the past, desperately struggles with the energy of metamorphosis via emotional power plays/projections. 

Lilith was created of the same Earth as Adam (not from his rib, like Eve) legend says she was created before him.  She refused to become subservient to Adam, claiming equality, she left Adam and the garden to pursue her own interests.  (Eve was made of Adam’s rib so she could not claim any right to equality.)
Ancient Hebrew texts claim Lilith left Adam to mate with Samael, the Angel of Death, describing her as a baby-killing demon living by the Red Sea, a powerful seductress not to be trusted.  As time passed, legends and texts changed, in medieval writings Lilith is described as a rebellious wife, a militant feminist.

Lilith squares Venus while opposite Pluto Rx in Capricorn – feminine strength of independent personal philosophies regardless of authority and power dictatorship.  She is in Cancer, action driven energies known to scuttle sideways.  If feminine energy and her power doesn’t feel like dealing with authority, she won’t – power and authority trying to lord over her quickly becomes a non issue.
She is fully aware but will only juggle metamorphosis on her terms.

Libra Venus opposite Uranus Rx in Aries – love and innovation requires teamwork, balance – someone is going to be zinging you with a surprise forcing compromise.  We are talking boho eccentric electric (Mars/Aries) Uranus in peace talks with Venus (rules Libra) here.  Uranus is change, undoubtedly – what kind remains to be seen.
Uranus Rx squares Pluto Rx – this opposition will lead to transformative healing on a very deep level – though it may have the appearance of being surface – this is not the case at all.

What is going on in the mind with Sun’s entrance into Virgo – ? – tap that rich vein.  When Sun moves into Virgo, it opens an ambitious doorway of opportunity with Lilith; Saturn and North Node of Destiny in Scorpio.
How is past rebellion leading you into your future – think healing (Virgo) the (Lilith) rebellious feminine/disciplined masculine (Saturn) via feelings, desires.

Mine the jewels of time and experience buried in house Scorpio – they will help provoke your transition into balance, move you towards your destiny.  What calls for healing via timely expression (Virgo, Mercury) …?
We each carry feminine and masculine qualities.
Are they in balance within..?
What energies need more outgoing yang ?  More introverted yin ?
Find balance, then work outward – bringing your balance into the world.

Sun into Virgo will also begin to trine Pluto; a Mercury trine to Pluto soon follows.  Healing is most definitely activated through avenues of thinking and communication – beginning with yourself – Pluto is retrograde (turning inward) after all.
Think about who or what matters most ?
Figure that out – then apply work (pressure) in that area.

Sun sextile Saturn and North Node while in trine to Pluto Rx (Saturn and Pluto Rx are in mutual reception) is a time to focus on inner healing in order to move forward.
Sun conjunct Mercury in Virgo will trot out analyzations, perceptual shifts, dietary and health concerns, practical self-improvements – improved communications: thinking, talking, writing.

Be aware Sun into Virgo opposes Neptune Rx, later Chiron Rx in Pisces.  Someone or thing is calling you to devote yourself to higher art, music meditation, dreams (both day and night) via the daily work ethic, routine and the melding of the two into harmony.  Keep to your course as able – having a big Neptune influence on the mind means dissolution, yes – but it also means transcendence, going with the flow, the ego gets a spiritual cleanse via the other.

Chiron Rx opposing Sun is surely a hit to the ego followed by subsequent healing. The theme of the Virgo Pisces axis is healing.
Chiron if it suits you, rules Virgo – daily personal magick.
Pisces is magick of the worldwide and beyond, the ALL ONE.

Virgos fix chaos in order to find perfection.
Pisces accept chaos IS perfection.

Cancer Jupiter square Aries Uranus Rx delivers superhuman innovative ideas across vast distances on the planes of feelings and actions – changes have been and remain slick and fast, surprisingly optimistic (I am a Capricorn rising, ya know) ushering in new, unexpected freedoms.

Making/creating is Sun ruled; fate is found in 10th house.
In my case, this is life, death, re-birth of balance through love.
This full Aquarius moon opposes my Venus/Jupes in Leo 8.
