Sworn to protect

Ok, how adorable is Patricia Clarkson ?!  Every movie I see her in I just love.  The Station Agent, Cairo Time, are my faves.
I just had to look up her deets ~

No wonder I like her, we have good synastry…!  She has Sun, Moon, and Saturn all tightly conjunct in Capricorn all trine Pluto in Virgo, and sextile Neptune.

A quick run down of the synastry: All of Patricia’s Capricorn stuff is conjunct my ascendant.  I can’t help but love Saggos, it’s in my blood.  Her Venus is conjunct my Neptune, my Sun conjunct her North Node, her Uranus conjunct my Jupiter.

Highly ambitious, hardworking, and perceptive, she studied drama at Fordham University, where she graduated summa cum laude, and earned her MFA at the Yale School of Drama.
Patricia is cool as a cucumber and if you have seen her work, you know she is a real class act.

Ta DA Leos !  

O dot has rolled out the red hot carpet for the big cats !  Can’t help but look, they shine like the sun !  They are effortlessly regal…eyes giving the slow perusal before prowling after you.  RAWR !   I have Leo on my 8th house, so I’m gonna serve up an astro story sexy, scruffy-style…  *lick*
Here we have mega-Leo, Daniel : Leo Sun conjunct Mercury – Venus conjunct Mars <- ok, that’s a doozy… tres, tres sexy Leo, yes..?!   He’s gotta lotta love in that heart of his.  Best yet, he’s a humble reserved Leo (hey~ anything’s possible) with Uranus, Saturn and Neptune conjunct in Capricorn.  Unusual career in film and stage ?  Bingo !  Who to better embody a courageous, noble hero who saves the world…?

Well….how about this sexy man who also saves the world, but from the opposite side of the wheel..?!

Here we have mega-Aquarian, Elijah.  Aquarius Sun, with Mercury conjunct Mars (both square to Uranus).  I’m going with Scorpio rising here (eyelids are sleepy, sexy).  Also Scorp rising puts Uranus (the unusual) on the 29th culmination degree of the first house which rules the eyes – and Elijah is well-known for his mesmerizing blue eyes.

Elijah is definitely a communicator with so much air. Mercury is exalted in Aquarius, plus being conjunct Mars gives it an extra kick. Expansive Jupiter Rx is conjunct Saturn Rx in Libra the sign of art, beauty and balance; and Saturn Rx is exalted here – meaning he will only get better as he gets older and his retrogrades kick in.

Obviously he is handsome, artistic and despite growing up in Hollyweird, he is relatively normal – but weird enough to fascinate. (Compliment !)  He’s a really hard worker (Jupiter conjunct Saturn in Libra) who actually enjoys it (Venus in Capricorn).  He respects the art of time honored crafts and traditions and has grown up learning from mentors in the business; both film and music. I gotta pop in some Neptune music trivia on this one ~> Elijah is a total music freak; seriously a walking encyclopedia of music of all genres.  He owns his own record company named Simian Records; he has directed, filmed, and appeared in many music videos. Also a huge photography aficionado, he has lucky, expansive Jupiter -quintile (spiritual gifts)- Neptune, which rules not only film, but also music.

OK, here’s the deal…Leos and Aquarians are on the same wavelength, but on opposite sides of the wheel from each other.

Both signs are yang; or expressive, direct and outgoing.

Daniel and Elijah resemble each other; each has saved the world in blockbuster films, should be totally recognizable; yet they are still mistaken for one another on the street.  I have read this story more than once; cannot give you the source; but if you dig, you’ll find it in television interviews and/or print.  Found it !

Call of Spirit

This week I grabbed the memoir of Ashley Judd from the library shelf, “All That Is Bitter & Sweet”.  Only having read as far as the forward and prologue, I knew I had to look up her natal chart.  Her compassion for others and her desire to end suffering washing over me with every word I read.

Ok girl, wow ! ~Sun, Mercury, Venus, Saturn, North Node and Chiron all in Aries !  She’s a bit of a little firecracker, no wonder she was a cheerleader for the Wildcats, still shows up for games and sits with the students- lotsa school spirit & pride !  What I really love to see is her obvious thirst for knowledge with her Sun (spirit), Mercury (mind), and Mars (action), in the 9th of higher learning.  Sun, Mercury and Saturn are all trine Jupiter (expansion) from Leo (ruler of the heart) to the 9th of university studies (‘Leo’ school ‘pride’).  Venus (love) is conjunct Saturn (concentration) in the 8th house of transformation via deep research.
So there is an obvious love of study and expanding the horizons as well as travel (9th is the natural house of Sagittarius-loves new frontiers).
What gives her soul (Moon) happiness is not the Hollyweird ego (square Sun) but instead, helping others (Aquarius is the humanitarian; Moon the public).  Ashley has Aquarius Moon trine Uranus (reformers) and Pluto (universal welfare) in the sign of Virgo (those who serve others) in the 2nd house of self-worth.  These reformers (Uranus and Pluto) are also trine Mars (where she places her energy) at the midheaven which is her peak of achievements.  With Chiron in the 8th house, she heals her personal wound by bringing help to the unseen victims of abuse worldwide.  The need to mother the world is also seen by Cancer on the 11th house of social consciousness.
Ashley is a life path 11, a master number indicating a person who is dedicated to a life of service to others, which is also seen by her most aspected planets, Jupiter (generosity) and Neptune (healing, compassion).

Triple Capricorn

James Earl Jones, the multi- talented actor/speaker with the amazing voice is a triple Cap (Sun, Moon ASC all in Capricorn)  Saturn, his chart ruler [which… hee hee Star Wars fans… is the father  in the natal chart] is in the first house sandwiched between the Luminaries. (Sun and Moon)
Ahem–> all of the above conjunct Mercury (speech) trine Neptune (films).  Hello ! !
One of the most famous lines in the history of cinema ! 

The amazing thing is Mr. Jones overcame a debilitating childhood stutter to become a speaker renowned for his deep resounding voice and precise diction. For ten years he rarely spoke because of his stutter.  Reciting poems; then later an interest in theater and film became the creative vehicles to improving his speech.  Amazing !


Uranus is not only an unpredictable focal point of a massive T-square; it is also the higher octave of Mercury and part of a courageous Fire Trine which includes Mars (action) and Venus (art, vocalists).  North Node (purpose in life) is to get some Aries ram energy behind that 3rd house of speech communication.  Very cool !  Mr. Jones is a life path number 5, here to experience changes and challenges.
He has certainly risen to the occasion ~

7. Made it through six whole posts before mentioning STAR WARS.
What took so long..?
Waiting for the spiritual number 7 to roll up.

Okay. Here’s the deal.
STAR WARS CHANGED MY LIFE.

Today I noticed Harrison Ford and I have some similarites….besides being charming rascals.  *wink*
We are both number 9 Life path.  Nines are compassionate humanitarians; dreamers here to serve the world and they are often in the spotlight – like it or not.  Nine is aligned with the planet Neptune and the water triad (Cancer/Scorpio/Pisces).  It is the number of completion, it carries the vibration of all the other numbers before it, and is a literal saturation point.

We are also a Birth Day number 4.  Fours are structured, the squares, conservative, logical.  Fours are aligned with the planet Saturn and the earth triad (Taurus/Virgo/Capricorn).  It is the number of building, organization, crystallization in the physical universe.

I was reading Glynis Has Your Number and I was intrigued by the comment that Harrison seems uncomfortable during interviews because 4/9 are numbers at odds with each other.  I have seen Harrisons chart before and remember noting that he seems very shy considering he has a chart with every single planet above the horizon.  Many planets above the horizon is indicative of extroversion, so what gives..?  First thing I am thinking is..’how’s that Neptune doin’ ?’

So first off, Neptune most highly aspected (private/ hidden), four planets in Cancer (private), including Mercury the talker (silent type here).  He most probably thinks he should (square- inner conflict) be talking more (Mercury- thinks, talks) about his films (Neptune is film) but revealing personal stuff is not for him.   So the extrovert placements of planets above the horizon is offset by the Cardinal Water chart.
