When my (former) husband and I were house hunting, I knew  we would buy this house the second my foot hit the driveway.   Of course, when I said so, he gave me an incredulous look like I had just taken a sharp turn around the far bend, turned into a toad or something.

Him: We haven’t even looked at it yet.
Me:  Don’t have to.  I already know.  I got the *twinge*.
Him: The what .?
Me: The *twinge*.  I get it when really, really important things happen.  And I just got it.
Him: Yeah right.  We’re gonna look at it anyway, and don’t go makin’ any weird offers.

ha ha Guess what ?
We loved it, bought it – years later when we divorced, I bought it and I live here to this day.

For the record, twinge  is dialect for pluck or tweak.

Considering I have Neptuner (strings, guitars, psychometry) in the 11th (natural home of electric Aquarius) it makes sense.

Strange thing is, I got the twinge  once before about this house.  We were driving on the interstate – that was a weird one – I got it in the middle of cornfields no & where – with absolutely no reference point to go on.

So I tagged a mental note of the next town we passed.
It was my town, where I now live – 5 years before we even moved to this area.

I felt it once when a galpal was standing right next to me.  I said something to her about it. I figured it was the someone nearby who was looking into me – he wanted something I could not give at that time.  Found out what he wanted later.  Glad you like the Funhouse, btw.  I am not surprised you do.  Happy trails, truly. Another time I vividly remember getting the twinge, I was in a power place surrounded by 3 friends who would – much to my surprise – figure greatly in my life in the coming years.  One in particular has been the fulcrum of powerfully personal  transcendent transformations, though I did not know it then.

The sunny afternoon it zapped me, I tried to shake it off (it feels weird – every time) by shaking my head, rubbing my temples and grabbing hold of something tethered to the ground.  The man next to me asked me what was wrong.  I told him.  Then he asked me what I meant by twinge.   He wanted me to describe it.

So here goes . . . I will describe my experience of Preception  for you.

First my head starts buzzing.  My senses, my perceptions of the world around me dramatically shift to include  other planes of existence ::: warp speed expansion ::: it is literally like having each foot present in separate worlds.

One foot is on the physical plane – breathing, talking, looking at you and answering your questions about what is wrong with me – and the other foot is holding my place in the world that is Everything and Everywhen and Everywhere Else.

It feels somewhat similar to the inner ear / head phases in an airplane when the physical body adjusts to higher altitudes.

My ‘feelers’ twitch – the hair on my arms and head is raised – tingling like tiny divining rods readying to receive cosmic data. My sense of hearing is somewhat muted, things happening right next to me in the physical world sound as if they are miles away – distant, muffled.

The atmo / air / aura around me – particularly around my head – feels like a live wire.
My head begins to HUM and drone tone. (HUM is Neptune :: Sun conjunct Uranus, electrics :: my ruler Saturn is in Aries, the head, and it trines Mars which rules Aries)

I get the distinct impression I AM bigger than my body (yes song lyrics) and the universe is tweaking my brain dial – Neptuning me into some cosmic electro-magnetic time stream. 

It feels as if the air around me is a bubble – a bit thicker, heavier in density.  Not liquid as in water or gelatinous – more like membrane or bubble.

Plasma.  That’s it !

WoW.  Glad I wrote this – I am learning too . . .


Think of what the air feels like immediately prior to a thunderstorm – filled with positive ions and heavy.  Positively electric.

That’s what’s going on, in and around my head.  I KNOW something important is – or is about to – happen, but I don’t always know exactly what IT is.

IT may not seem important in the right now moment WHILE I am getting it – but it WILL BE VITAL somewhere, somewhen, someplace.  This I DO know.

I told you it was weird.

That said, I can’t talk to your dead uncle, I can’t talk to my dead uncle either.  These weird shifts happen like a lightning strike – out of the blue – inexplicable and I cannot control them.  Uranian free will baby – they do their own thang.

So on to the relevant astro, then, of course the science.

Ions can be produced by high-energy events. 

Hmmm . . . fascinating, yes ?
Usually these events are akin to open flames, lightning and sparks, but imagine these events are HIGH OCTANE, game changing, LIFE events.

What happens when positive ions are converted to negative during thunderstorms ?

As far as tuning into the cosmic electro-magnetic time stream, it is the ionosphere that reflects radio waves back to earth, allowing humans to broadcast over long distances.  The ionosphere is electrically charged and affected by magnetics.

The human body is made of crystal structures – liquid crystal structures.

We enter earth life tuned by the singing of the hemispheres – the vibrations of the celestial bodies calling to us from the heavens at our time of birth. We are complex crystal prisms shifting and drifting in a cosmic sea of harmonic resonance.

That of which we speak will however come to light if one strives to recognize all, while not losing sight of the One. It is then that the connecting link of the ones named will come to light.“

Let me explain . . .
I have Saturn Rx in Aries 3 trine Mars in Sagittarius. 
The prominent life – long big whopper standard interps for me equal:

I have stamina (Mars) over the long haul (Saturn / time).
Absence of the father growing up. (Saturn Rx)
Reading and writing (Saturn in 3rd, learning) and expanding my spiritual horizons (Sagittarius, higher learning and spiritual) are places where I apply force (Mars).

Shift focus, and the trivial weird stuff can be seen:

Lousy typist (Saturn restricts the hand movements – 3rd rules hands).
Pretty zen unless I am behind the wheel (3rd house is commuting) and other drivers disregard obvious traffic patterns (3rd house – patterns) then I fume (Mars).
Inked (Saturn / permanent, 3rd writing) on hand.  (mystical, Sag)
Scars on hand (3rd house) from burns and stabbing. (Mars)
Prone to headaches (Saturn restriction in head), will not headbutt (talk to the hand).

This is why I think everyone should study astrology – it is the best personal enlightenment tool I have seen to date.  Opportunities for insights are limitless ~

(That’s what I was going on about in my last post – I saw someone in my aspects !)

Saturn (and Sun) rule the father.

My Dad worked (Saturn) as a purchasing agent, on the phone all the time – sales. (3rd house is communication)
He medalled in track (Mars Sag) many times.
He lived many years past the date his cancer doctor predicted he would. (Saturn trine Mars)   This is also indicated by my Sun (father, life, fame or prominent in some way) conjunct Uranus (unusual or curious) Pluto (death).

The sun’s magnetic poles rotate one full cycle over a 22 year time frame.

Sun fluctuates too – respect.
Astrological Sun rules Leo, the heart.

Polar reversal takes place every 11 years during the sunspot, flares and solar storm maximum cycle.  Every 11 years, the magnetic poles of the sun point toward the equator.  When this happens, the electromagnetic flow at (sunspots drift toward) the equator becomes much stronger.  Below, the uniform blue (north) and yellow (south)regions near the poles reveal the orientation of the Sun’s underlying dipole magnetic field.   We are currently over three years into Cycle 24.

Why and how does this happen ?
The trailing polarity flux from bipolar active regions drifts toward the pole to produce polar fields. The polar reversal occurs when sufficient flux from a new cycle has reached the pole to neutralize the remnant flux of opposite polarity from the previous cycle.  Flux accumulates at the Sun’s poles until, at the height of solar maximum, the
magnetic poles change polarity and begin to grow in a new direction.

As if Moon conjunct Mars and now nearly Saturn wasn’t making us cranky enough, we are also under a proton warning. 

About 2,000 geomagnetic storms happen in every 11-year solar cycle – but proton events > 10 (+9) are more rare – they vary from 0 – 8 events per solar cycle.

Proton ( positively charged – click here for why negative is good – sage smudging, and electrical thunderstorms via my very first post ) shock waves are associated with coronal mass ejections, though not necessarily (click for current graph – no magnetic storms) magnetic in nature. See why the protons are worth mentioning – we will feel it !… Maybe chalk it up to Uranus square Pluto or Moon conjunct Mars – Saturn.  Protons are uncomfortable, increased blood pressure, aggression, serotonin levels.  Nervous tension.  Girl cat was especially touchy this eve.  Plus severe drought across the US.

A solar proton event (or proton storm) occurs when protons emitted by the Sun become accelerated to very high energies either close to the Sun during a solar flare or in interplanetary space by the shocks associated with coronal mass ejections.

These high energy protons cause several effects. They can penetrate the Earth’s magnetic field and cause ionization in the ionosphere. They (reportedly – GMAstro) only enter the atmosphere near north pole, south pole, and South Atlantic magnetic anomaly.

What is South Atlantic magnetic anomaly ?  It is where the Earth’s magnetic field is the weakest. (see map below)  
Who knew ?  Not me – fascinating !

Ye Gads, I see an astrocartography analysis bender in my Sun conjunct Uranus Pluto future.  Plus, weak magnetics – do people weigh less and jump higher too… hmmm..? That could be an arthritic plus or minus, I suppose, plus maybe baseballs go farther…?… compasses spin wildly..?  the mind boggles…hmmm…ok – getting distracted…sorry

South Atlantic magnetic anomaly

Basically the effect is similar to auroral events, the difference being that electrons and not protons are involved. They can penetrate the Earth’s magnetic field and cause ionization in the ionosphere.  Energetic solar protons are also a significant radiation hazard to spacecraft and astronauts.  In addition they wack out radio signals, but not necessarily the electrical grids, which are only sensitive to fluctuations in the Earth’s magnetic field.

What is the ionosphere exactly ?

The ionosphere is comprised of portions of the mesosphere, thermosphere and exosphere, distinguished because it is ionized by solar radiation.   In the thermosphere, the atmosphere is so thin that free electrons – okay, how Uranian is THAT ? – can exist for short periods of time before they are captured by a nearby positive ion. The number of these free electrons is sufficient to affect radio propagation.

The thermosphere is ionized and contains a plasma which is referred to as the ionosphere. In a plasma, the negative free electrons  and the positive ions  are attracted to each other by the electromagnetic force, but they are too energetic to stay fixed together in an electrically neutral molecule. 

Too energetic – fascinating – drawn together, but no neutrality. 
Fixed by attraction, yet not bound.  cool.

Okay, so check this out:
During magnetically quiet days of solar maximum periods, the diurnal (daytime) ionosphere has both increased ionization and is thicker, compared to the nighttime for non – auroral latitudes.  The reverse is true during the solar minimum.

In high latitudes, nighttime thickness of the ionosphere is higher compared to the daytime for both solar phases.

The atmosphere adjusts for the incoming solar energy and storms.  neatO.

Interestingly peak ionosphere thickness is pre-sunrise and post sunset.

Protons have a positive charge, neutrons have a neutral charge, and electrons have a negative charge.

When these charges are out of balance, an atom becomes either positively or negatively charged.  The switch between one type of charge and the other allows electrons to flow from one atom to another. This flow of electrons, or a negative charge, is what we call electricity.

Exactly why the sunrise and sunset are so magickal – full of possibilities & electricity !

I’m not buying we don’t feel the protons through the atmosphere bit, obviously.  If proton storms change and whack out radiowaves, they change and whack out life forms on the planet surface too.  So step up the sage smudging, the candles and humidity in your environs just to safe – feels good anyway.

I have been wanting to study up on solar cycles for months and months – finally doing it.

I have Sun conjunct Uranus (magnetics) Pluto and I was thinking solar cycles would be evident in my life.

I got my answer.
My answer is yes.

In ’68 I was too young to remember, will have to ask my Mom what was going on.  I know around ’79 I got yanked into several years of moving and changing schools every few months or so.  (Toro Moon in 4 hates that, btw.)  Around ’89 second Sagittarian  relationship hit the skids – heartbreakingly stellar crash and burn, I didn’t eat or sleep for weeks.  You can see it coming, 2000 wasn’t any better, years of major stress induced illness.

I am curious if you notice anything unusual during solar maximums.

I have been studying  platonic solids and sacred geometry.  Fascinating really – the building blocks of the universe.

The tetrahedron, cube, and octahedron all occur naturally in crystal structures.

The human body is made of crystal structures – liquid crystal structures.

Liquid crystals are a state of matter between that of a conventional liquid and that of a solid crystal.

Think of the solids as crystallized musical vibrations, or spirit seen in matter.  As frequencies change, movement will always occur along spiral pathways, or “phi” ratio.

Notes in the scale of western music are based on natural harmonics that are created by ratios of frequencies.  Ratios found in the first seven numbers of the Fibonacci series ( 0, 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8 ) are related to key frequencies of musical notes. (source)

What we vibrate naturally spirals outward, causing others to resonate likewise.

What is moving underneath the surface of still waters…?  Waxing Moon in Scorp adds a dark zing  to the edge of the knife blade that is pruning the past relentlessly.  Supercharged Arian growth is pulling out all the stops while the gunk rolls and churns up to the surface for air.

Virgo Mars is moving to activate Pluto as well, so zen is primo deluxe real estate.
Life as racquetball is the new zen.
Define and find your bliss, or define it as you bushwhack your trail ~> learn how to juggle, ricochet hits from the blind side, create a new sport, pick up a new skill set – whatever you need to, but this astro is demanding full throttle growth, make no mistake.

Jupiter is conjunct S Node and Venus and they are squaring Neptune retrograde.

Didn’t even have to think about it, I knew in an instant.

Pause for the cosmic divinity of the macro made micro.

SoOo I know we are all dealing with a head full of past. 
To what degree you are dealing with it depends on your chart.

South Node is dovetailed nice and neat between Jupiter and Venus Rx.
Retrograde anything looks over the shoulder at the past.

When Venus retrogrades, she turns her gaze to past loves, past $$, past creations – while conjunct Jupiter, an enormous amount of brainpower is directed towards visionary philosophies – in Gemini the THINKER, our brain gerbils are running the Venus turnpike supersonic style 24/8. Yes, Beatles ref.

Mars in Virgo trine Jupiter in Gemini is nitpicking the hell out of our philosophies.
(Yes, there is Jupiter hell, Jupes is not always happy-go-lucky: if the aspect is harsh, extravagance can kill you.)

Some background….my former husband came over yesterday so we could have a ceremony and release the ashes of pets.  Four boxes of dead pets { 2 labs (bro/sis), 2 tortoiseshell kitties } were in my basement – seriously is this not totally apt for the current astro ?   Why keep dead pets ?  I know it sounds weird, but first he wanted me to wait, then I moved, then I worked 7/7 for 3 years, organizing is finally on the agenda.  It was time.

This multi-Virgo (Virgo rules pets) was a bit of an emotional wreck, so I called a gal who fancies cats like me, I knew she would get it – she is always so nice to my friends.  It turns out she was in a sacred earth place – one of my favorite places on earth – I forgot the time, it is a sore spot of longing I try to distance myself from, I purposely do not dwell on many things.

Next thing you know (my natal Sag Mars quintiles Uranus, which tr. Mars was conjunct) out of my mouth popped something that surprised me.
Totally unplanned – out of Uranian  left field of course  – yet somehow perfectly timed.
.Fated.

So I awoke this am aiming to embark on a massive divination session, fueled with plenty of cold-brewed java.
Here is the card that came up when I asked the sacred earth energies  to reveal themselves.

The North god wears a papyrus crown, the South god a crown of lotus flowers.

Mercury rules Gemini – Uranus its higher octave rules Aquarius.
Mercury is coming to trine Uranus.

The knot pictured is a symbol called the ‘haty’, it produces the flow of the Nile, which conveys vital energies – symbolized by the lungs, breath, heart and the blood to the North and South.  ‘this is the center of respiration, the ligature of ‘spirit’…with the living and nourishing fluid of the blood.’

Mars trines Jupiter and Venus Rx – and South Node in thinking, breathing Gemini. We are breathing in our Sagittarian North Node quest ::: releasing the Gemini South Node wreckage.

I have mentioned before the magnetite found in human brains.  Click here  and here for more fascinating info. If an energy surge, or drain is noticeably felt – try constant contact or grounding with the earth –  bare feet on ground is very beneficial, flat out laying on the ground is better..

I am going to get in the grass here shortly before bed, headache.  Tr. Mars exact Pluto and activating my Uranus has prompted (wavy vision, and headaches) and also more explorations into ley lines and earth energies.

For those following the sense of direction bit Perianne and I have been talking about recently: (from link above) some humans, particularly Polynesian navigators, seem able to judge direction in the absence of all obvious cues (Sun, Moon, stars, waves and so on)

Interestingly, the book I am reading mentions blurred vision is an effect of abnormal serotonin levels. The gastrointestinal tract (Virgo rules, that’s Mercury) holds 90% of the bodies  serotonin (my Virgo stellium is getting hammered by Mars now) the rest can be found in neurotransmitters of the central nervous system (Gemini rules, also Mercury).  All the benefics are in Gemini house at the moment, so am in pain, but mellow, thankfully.

I tell you this so maybe you can tune into the energies too … consider it a Uranus Pluto experiment with GneissMoonAstro …

For now, keep in mind Uranus in Aries means an activation of the electrical brain (Aries rules: hemispheres are Mercury right; Mars, left.).  Uranus is in square to Pluto in Capricorn which means a changing of the earth, and how we relate to it.
 No, I am not meaning macro scale earth changes – I mean micro changes, our brains, our bio-energies in relation to the changing earth as we walk upon differing fields of magnetism present in the earth.

The human body acts as an antenna – it will pick up and absorb energies from the air (ions) and the earth.  Which polarity depends on the position of the body (we absorb horizontally polarized energies while prone; the opposite when walking around upright.)

Magnetic fields in the earth will vary depending on the type of rock, buried ore and type of fault lines nearby.  I feel the Smokies are a slower, older and wiser energy; the Rockies near the four corners is crisp and quick; the energies around the Northwest seem erratic, restless.  That’s the large scale impression I get, but every square mile has its own properties, and if you live near power lines – they attract even more electrical energies from the ground to broadcast, and this will be felt if you are sensitive to it electricity or magnetism.  See how you feel when you walk around….

I will be dowsing and watching for any weirdness – well more weirdness, that is, lol.
 I will be likely be revisiting magnetics, electricity, the brain and ley lines during the

Copper Capricorn

Meet Copper Capricorn – my Pluto transit mojo pendant.

Pluto by transit is square my chart ruler, Saturn Rx.
I call pendant dude Copper Capricorn because I bought him from an artist in Jerome, Arizona (click).  

Jerome is an old copper mining town established in 1883 that sits on the side of Cleopatra hill in the Verde Valley.  Jerome housed the workers in the nearby United Verde Mine, which was to produce over 1 billion dollars in copper, gold and silver over the next 70 years.  Jerome was a notorious wild west town, a hotbed of prostitution, gambling, and vice. In 1903, the New York Sun proclaimed Jerome to be “the wickedest town in the West”.

My pendant fits the aspect.

Pluto = cesspools of sin, mines and sex.
Saturn = rocks and ore taken from the earth.

Copper is Venus ruled.  Art ! 

The little blue botryoidal (greek for resembling grapes) stone is Azurite, a copper carbonate mineral.  It is a monoclinic crystal, though it is often found in botryoidal forms. Azurite is a stone of the Ajna, the third eye.  It vibrates with the energy of intuition, understanding, imagination and the sixth sense.  It can help facilitate dreaming and a clear, logical mind.

The green stones are Malachite, also a copper carbonate.  Malachite resonates with the Anahata, or heart chakra.  It vibrates with compassion, emotional balance, hope and love.  Malachite emanates a vibration of love (Venus) throughout the energy body, making it an excellent protection stone from negative energies.  Malachite resonates to the Yang polarity of coppers electrical conductivity, enabling it to work as an active ‘fire’ stone – it will help draw impurities out of the body and stimulate energy flow.

Malachite, being about 58 % copper, (Venus ruled, hence balance) is particularly helpful for left-right brain imbalances.  If you live or work near nuclear energy, malachite is said to help with over intoxication, radiation induced illnesses and it will draw out and expel the toxins from the body.  Malachite also promotes cellular regeneration, and increases capillary function and can help reduce swelling.


Copper itself is the metal of channeling energies, it is the metal of the magician.  Copper, when used with stones, enhances the conduit between stone and human energies.  It assists, manifests energetic alignment between earth, stone and human.

Copper bracelets (often worn for arthritis) open the blocked energy flow in the body which helps alleviate arthritic pain.

Copper is a conduit, a conductor, an enhancer. 

Here is the science:  Electricity is the flow of electrons moving from one atom to the next.  Copper is very dense, the atoms are compact, allowing this moving exchange of electricity to happen quickly, easily.

Malachite is also said to enhance luck.

Keep this in mind as Venus comes closer to an exact conjunction with Jupiter.
Venus (love, $$, women, copper) and Jupiter (luck, expansion, wisdom) are beneficial, and they are opposite (in compromise with) Saturn (bones, work, discipline).
