South Node activate !

Who else is processing like mad ?

This Gemini Eclipse falls in my 6th, so I finally took some time for Virgo self-care, ditched work for one dark moon night on the swank Toro couch with seasons 6 & 7 of Star Trek Voyager.
I quit thinking  for a bit and watched pictures. I needed it, ‘cause I am back at it Virgo processing, Mercury at it full steam again today.

Things in my life have been rapid fire change-ups lately, just this morning I changed my mind about something I had been fairly sure of for the last few weeks.  Multi-tasking out the yin yang, and juggling day job, night job – I am also the handy ma’am, the cook, the gardener and the cleaning lady.  I write this post, trim my 7ft hedge, turn my garden, then write some more.  Head and Hands full of Gemini and then some.  You ?

Friends of mine I care very much for are waiting (you know who you are) please know I am very aware you are waiting and am doing my best, okay ? xo  You are very much on my mind, and in my heart, as always.

My North Node ruler is Mars. I have Saturn the restrictor retrograde (it is slower than slow, trust me.) in the house of what and who I AM.  (ego squashing) Saturn is my chart ruler in the house where it falls, or operates poorly (opposite house of exaltation).  The energies are not matched at. all.  Saturn wants to brake and Mars – ruled Aries wants to get the freakin’ lead out already and get moOoving !

My retrograde Saturn trines Mars;  which turn quintiles Uranus.  This means it may take me forever, but once I am on it – it gets done – I will tackle it entirely with unmatched focus and determination.  I will not give up.  Ever.

This lifetime for me is about squashing the ego of the past.

My South Node is in Libra 10th, so last life I had the recognition, the accolades.  This life I have to get over the fact that those I crave approval from the most often deny it.
  I have to drop all thought of chasing the shiny object, for if I seek it, I suffer.  (Sun opp Chiron)  My Sun is also Void of course at 29 degrees Virgo: semi-square Moon, square ASC, opposite chiron.  It is my final dispositor, and conjunct knock down game-changers Uranus and Pluto.  I get waylaid a LOT, but have to keep going, have faith in myself. (Sun in 9, Aries North Node)

omg. the voice. goosebumps !  when I last heard her sing Western Stars I accidentally grabbed my friend’s knee when she hit the last note, kd. is. incredible.
Toro Moon and of course I am going on about singers again…

kd is a Scorpio Sun conjunct Neptune (inspired musician) in the 3rd house of communication.
She is a Virgo rising, Mercury (chart ruler, communication) conjunct Venus (art) in Libra second house. Libra is harmony, beauty.
The second house is the natural house of Taurus, which rules the throat.  Venus rules both Taurus and Venus, so Venus is at home in the 2nd, conjunct Mercury which rules her ascendant and her mid-heaven.  the voice

Mercury & Venus square her Saturn Jupiter conjunction in Capricorn (big-boned gal !).  
Tension and largess coupled with restraint and fine tuning.

Her Scorpio Mars squares her (Virgo) Moon – (Leo) Uranus, Melpomene, North Node conjunction in the 12th.  Mars gives power by any contact, and inner tension can be transformed (Mars quintile Pluto) into great works – her Pluto is conjunct Virgo Ascendant. 

She is powerful in voice and spirit, she is a rulebreaker, a woman (Moon) with her own trail to blaze (Uranus) in the public eye (Moon).  She was destined to shine her creative light in unusual ways, be a music muse, a woman’s muse, a proud humanitarian  (Uranus in Leo) with a big heart and (North Node Leo) a big voice to match.

I used to live in Iowa, meditated with the Maharishi Mahesh Yogis, saw the American Gothic house, ate Rosanne Barr’s loose meat burgers, saw the big cornfield in the sky.  It’s near the Ertl factory where my Star Trek Enterprise model ship came from, and if you head west on I-80 you’ll see the Big Boy sculptures – the whole family – on the north side of the road somewhere around Des Moines.  Iowans are so practical, they all  seem earth sign to me.  Excessively normal.  Grounded.  No muss, no fuss.  Speaking of which….

Sweet sensate Taurus Moon is coming up to form a grand trine with Mars in Virgo and Pluto Rx in Capricorn at 9 degrees.  Can you feel the earth energy growing ?
I do.

Primal dark moon energy full of quiet thoughts and rest.

Annular Solar Eclipse is at 0 degrees Gemini – Mercury is Lord of the Eclipse.
Solar Eclipses involve identity, ego, ambition, leadership, co-operation.
Awareness.
Versatility in communication is on the table for this eclipse.

This is a New Moon – a time for beginnings and fresh starts, growing upward.  New Moon feels spontaneous, filled with possibilities, intuition and instincts rule while moonlight is dim.
*Clean the corners, toss items, do rituals for closing, clearing stagnant energies, light candles and smudge in preparation for new moon.

Energies in play at new moon will culminate at the next full moon.
The next full moon is the Partial Lunar eclipse June 4 in Sagittarius.

South Node of Destiny accompanies this annular eclipse, so get ready to bob and weave with the past – adaptation, improvisation.

Thinking, learning talking, writing, siblings, neighbors, short journeys are some of the energies in motion with this eclipse.

Pay attention to what is happening in your life in the days prior to the eclipse to determine what energies are being activated in your life.  Eclipses are often triggered before the actual eclipse and the energies continue to play out over weeks or months afterward as other planets move over the eclipse point.

Something that strikes me is this is both a chart of reaping from former efforts and also giving back to people.  (SW quadrant) 

What we are actively sowing is exactly that : Work.
– changes and transformation re: work (Pluto in Cap)
– organizing, streamlining energetic efforts across the board (Mars in Virgo)
– shifting of balance re: work, status, career, health and routines (Saturn Rx in Virgo)

Mars in 10 in the Mercury ruled house trine Pluto, fresh new ground is tilled and ready for planting new moon thought seeds for long – term growth. Be aware Gemini is a restless, changeable energy and it likes to switch it up.

For those of you asking about spell work at new moon – Gemini new moon is in flux, neutral and dual.  Not known for sticking and staying, but moreso for ideas, observing, being flexible and spells will reflect this.  If you are looking to work with Mercury, be aware it is trickster energy !

Lord of the Eclipse is quintile Chiron. 
Mercury heals.
