Past complications revolving around a sharp intelligent woman are as yet at a slow standstill – revelations are forthcoming – fast, straight to the point, new info will transform the situation completely.

Karma is indicated by Justice – keenly appropriate since Saturn and Pluto are in mutual reception – high qi trade of energies. Payment of debt, restoring metamorphosis to any and all Scorpio & Capricorn matters.
Death – Life – Rebirth.  The great leveler.

Pluto in Capricorn and Saturn in Scorpio are operating divine justice for all.

Mercury Rx in Cancer pulls us to fixate on those energies we find stable – home and family, where we recharge.

Cat Women

Meet new black kitty.
 Gorgeous, still very skitterish around me.
Grey kitty warmed up first. 
Food lady is nice.

Seems cat dreams are in the air of late…I dreamed of a herd of cats at my mother’s house, I picked a blue one.  Then soon after a reader commented about her dream of a black street cat – so this cat post was born.  Yes, another cat post.  Venus IS in Leo after all.

Check out my previous post about Norse goddess Freia, asteroid 76.  Two sacred cats (gifts from Thor) pulled her Valkyrie chariot onto fields of battle where she collected men slain in war.  She is the goddess of love, a powerful protectress, a nature deity.

Bastet, or Ubasti, Egyptian cat goddess is asteroid 4257.  Ubasti is the warrior goddess who protected the lower Nile, the Pharaoh and Ra (Sun God).  She has been called upon since the Second Dynasty for blessings of fertility and protection from thieves. She is also associated with scent, or pleasant ointments.  When her temple was excavated they found the mummified remains of over 300,000 cats.  Bastet is the mild eastern sun associated with spring.  Her name comes from the root bes, meaning fire. She embodies qualities of both the sun and moon – she draws opposites together.

Ubasti in the natal is a place of fertility, sensuality, sexuality and it is where you are a fierce protector of that which you hold sacred, particularly family and home.

Check out asteroid Sphinx 896. The Sphinx is a keeper of secrets, a guardian with the body of a lion, the wings of a griffon (in Asia), and the face of a human.  The Sphinx posed riddles to travelers on the road to Thebes, if they answered wrong, she devoured them.
Sphinx in your chart is where you must face challenges, where you guard yourself, your life.  Sphinx is also where you guard secrets, mysteries and knowledge which will only be revealed as the time is right.  Those of you familiar with Edgar Cayce know the Hall of Records is reportedly buried under the paw.  More here.

Egyptian lion goddess Sekhmet is asteroid 5381.  Sekhmet is a destroyer goddess, derived from sekhem, or power, and khem which means dark chaos that gives birth to light.
 In the natal chart, Sekhmet represents the transformation of death into wisdom and enlightenment – she is the scorching sun, she is the renewal gained from suffering, the fire that burns the enemy.  She is healing through death and rebirth akin to Plutonic and phoenix energies.  She is power, magic and strength.


This image amuses me, my 8th house Leo stuff squares biggie Neptuner on 11th.
I have a plethora of ye olde skool dream interp books, most of which harp on about how cats are bad luck which I don’t buy for a second.
If you like cats, they are good friends, allies and totems – then dreams of them brings good luck.  To my fancy, dreaming of cats indicates Leo stuff such as positivity, self-reliance, creative problem-solving, romance, fun and BIG LUCK.

Curious cats, Sphinx is conjunct my Moon, opposite Sekhmet & Bastet which conjunct my Neptuner.

This is the sunshine and rainbows portion of the post.  Isn’t she pretty as the sunshine warms her skin, the memories are wonderful and bring a sweet smile of remembrance.

Grand water trine with this new moon in Cancer, highlighting emo tides re: family, mothers, women, home and wherever Cancer lands in your natal chart.

Self-propulsion is active, though subtle and not necessarily evident as it is mostly happening in the intuitive, psychic channels.  Chapters of life, stories and memories are washing ashore. . . tides slowly lapping or waves rolling and crashing.  Both, most likely as it is with water  ::: now you feel it, now you don’t ::: lunar equals fluctuations.

Strong struggle, diving deep into the well of psyche is evident with Pluto opposite in Capricorn – though shedding the skins of the past (Saturn) is supported by the buoyancy of emotional flow – in others words – we don’t get stuck in the quagmire, we flow like water.

Cardinal signs feel the tension, particularly those with planets at 16 degrees.  Mercury Rx is riding the surf with New Moon (also in Cancer) indicating another turn inward, going quiet to deal with metamorphosis.

Jupiter in Cancer is hugely productive, abundant and optimistic.  Free-wheeling touchie-feelie expansion of global family is waxing philosophical in the well of psyche.

We are globally connected – intellectually we get it. . . now with Jupes in Cancer, it finally begins to SINK IN on a much more profound level.

This is the Plutonic portion of the post, the seedy underbelly.  Those of you who like a steady diet of sugar, feel free to move along.

Cancer rules the 4th, the conditions of the womb and the tomb, hence boney baby imagery. (Saturn is bones + aging, rules Capricorn which opposes Cancer)
Cancer house indicates either the mother or father – depends on who nurtures you.  When Moon is in tough aspect, blocks or friction re: emotional energy forces change.  

At new moon, Jupiter (in the sign ruled by Moon) moves to oppose Pluto and Square Uranus (nearing station) while conjunct (out of sign) Mars (on the decan of Uranus) is in Gemini.  Feeling & thinking are in flux – bigtime.  Mental and emotional change ups are imminent – concentration on metamorphosis – changing the outdated, outworn and useless into enlightened actions on the home front and public scene are highlighted.

Moon is the tidal sway of public opinion; Jupiter is expansive higher mind.
We are more psychic, open and vulnerable when water holds sway.

Recently at my Mom’s house I got a healthy dose of the idiot box.  Before you karate kick me off my soapbox, keep in mind, I confess to loving my entertainment – I have Venus/Jupes in Leo square Neptuner after all.  I am all for stereo sound, IMAX, more frames per second – all of it – toss rain on me like at Rocky Horror and it’s all good !

The sugar pill placebo – big boobs, big lips, perfect hair and mutilated faces into our old age because beauty, youth and lying is perfection while vulnerability, aging, HONESTY and diverse humanity are liabilities ?

For instance, yesterday someone was telling me all about the Cannibal Cop, discussing Ramirez kicking the bucket and why women write love letters to serial killers professing undying love and popping marriage proposals.

Yes, I KNOW manifestation, quantum physics, the hundredth monkey – eyes on the positive – but First we have to recognize the problem – SEE IT before we can CHANGE IT.

Ignoring the festering wound of our fucked up cultural obsession with slebs, fame, crime and wealth is obviously not working.  We are lacking alright, but it is not STUFF we are lacking – we are burying ourselves in a mountain of stuff, AND what is worse the refuse of broken stuff and STILL WE ARE LACKING.

The boob tube, in fact all corporate owned media is slow insidious poison – take part and absorb a steady diet of LIES and LACK, Creeps and Freaks.

Manipulation.

Mass (Pluto) Mainstream Media opposes JUPITER (in the sign of family).
 Corporations and big Government focus on how we are uncomfortably different rather than focus on the ways we are comfortably SIMILAR.

How we are globally beautiful in our unified diversity.

Global corps walk hand in hand with greedy politicos over vast green mountains of money – trading our health and our planets health for immediate gratification and power.  

We ALL NEED clean food, clean water, shelter, freedom, equality.
LOVE and ACCEPTANCE.

Just wanted to pop up a quick post to address a few things.

1 – I work a full time job + moonlight astrologer + gardener, maid, cook etc…
2 – Jupes in Gem squared my Virgo Sun/Ura/Pluto stellium from my 6th, daily chores

Supermoon in Capricorn – hit my Sagittarius Mars, trined my late Leo Venus/Jupes before it grew full in my first house.  GMA popped out into the twitterverse, and I made some decisions revolving around work, competition, myself.

1 – My energy was focused outward far too much. Sag Mars – arrows to all corners.
2 – No vacation this summer.  Don’t ask.  I needed a recharge, was making myself ill.
3 – I scheduled myself into my own calendar – gave myself a break.

Aside from that, I am using this Mercury Rx to clean up GMA from the backdoor so it will be more useful to me.  I will likely be removing e-mail subscribers while I re-categorize and move things around.  You can still access GMA from the front door, I just won’t be filling your inbox.  More about this in the future as I dig in.
