sunshine & rainbows

This Grand Water Trine has proven to be stellar for zoning out and conversely tuning in.
I have been mulling over water quality – in the oceans, in our bodies, thinking of the memory of water as well as the memory of color*.
I just invented that*, but it makes sense.

My friend Mojo did a potato experiment to find how spuds grew in glasses with positive/negative word labels here.

Intent, water, color and sun rays, plus symbols to keep the intent pure and rolling over several days time.
Consistency.
I recently stumbled across the glasses above from FirstGlassDesign.
Love the idea – Sanskrit chakra symbols, memory of water.
I will boost the idea with memory of color.
I’m on it.
Blue and purple down (thrift finds) and I’ll keep you posted…
Several previous posts on chakras here.

master of anatomy

Italian Renaissance artist Michelangelo Buonarroti was a master of human anatomy.
Pictured below is a detail from Pieta, located in St. Peter’s Basilica, Vatican City.  Michelangelo was a life path 8, signifying strength, power, success and responsibility.

Michelangelo was a Pisces Sun, Moon and Mars , with grand water trines and a kite as well (ease in expressing the energies of planets involved).  Visionary Sagittarius was rising at the time of his birth, chart ruler expansive, wise Jupiter in Aquarius the sign of revolutionary inventors in square (creative tension) to Venus (art), and quintile Neptune, the higher octave of Venus (inspired artists).

Sun conjunct Mars with Moon conjunct Mercury from the 3rd is very passionate thinker, concerned about how they communicate the solar and lunar principle.  Michelangelo slept near his artwork – positively lived and breathed creativity while awake and sleeping.

Sun and Mars in the perceptive 3rd, in opposition to Pluto in Virgo in the 9th, not only gives an intense eye for detail, but a talent for provoking radical transformations in others through the actions in life.  Uranus conjunct Neptune in Scorpio indicates an innovative, inspired artist capable of reaching into personal depths for creative inspiration.  What great depth of feeling that resonated through Saturn in Cancer through his precise, detailed work.  Works of art that have inspired millions of people over many generations.

Scorpio types love their secrets, love the murky depths and the mysteries of life.  Scorpio is the house of sex, metaphysics and the unseen and death.  How do you get to be a master of anatomy..?  You spend hours studying the human form – from the inside out.

Considering I have now seen Michelangelo’s chart and see that Neptune (inspired art), Uranus (curiosity), Pluto (analysis regarding health and death – particularly in Virgo) are all highly elevated, I am not surprised by this.

Far-Sighted

Pictured below is Nostradamus, and his natal chart.  He was famous for writing over 900 rhymed quatrains (four-lined poems) filled with hidden prophecies that predicted the future for 10 centuries.  He lived during the Renaissance and was astrologer to royalty and nobles in Salon.  Nostradamus is a 9 life path; a humanitarian.  He was also a herbalist, healer, physician and linguist.

His bio:  http://www.astro.com/astro-databank/Nostradamus%2C_Michel_de

When learning astrology, this chart struck me because of the obvious water trines.  Water houses (Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces) are the intuitive, psychic houses; they delve deep, are mysterious.

Moon in Scorpio gives depth of feeling and a keen, penetrating insight into the mysteries of life and death; as well as a tendency to keep true feelings under wraps.

Uranus, the planet that will not take the bit is somewhat quieted in the 12th house of Pisces.  It is quietly, secretly, rebellious – hiding prophetic messages within secret texts, for instance.  Uranus is the higher octave of Mercury (the communicator), and is an intuitive planet working in a mystical house.
Jupiter (generosity, philosophy) is exalted in nurturing Cancer; conjunct an angle- making it even more powerful.  Saturn and Mars are both uncomfortable in Cancer, but I feel they give a steady anchor to home and roots so that when the waves of visions may come, the seer is not adrift.

Sun in Capricorn (honors, fame, time) conjunct Mercury (writing) with Neptune (mysticism) all in the tenth house of ‘how the world sees you’ shows the prophetic legacy Nostradamus left the world.
