I saw a fawn today !
The first time in 16 years driving the same route I have seen a fawn near the park on my way home. White tail was twitching while fawn happily munched away in the warmth of the evening sun . . .
I knew right away a kind gentle soul is on the way. Fawn was on my right, and I saw a hawk ( hawk is usually a message from my brother) coming in for a landing on my right this morning ! Fawn totem calls us home to the green forest magick of faerie and fey – they remind us of the natural peaceful rhythms of the wheel of life.
They are gentle souls with dark peaceful eyes, they are filled with grace and 
compassion. They are harbingers of peace, love and a return to innocence. Deer are quiet – yet alert – always listening, they see clearly through the shadows of twilight, they bridge two worlds. Fawn and deer symbolize the world of twilight and shadow (deer are most active at daybreak and dusk).
Deer are symbolic of the graceful balance between the conscious and unconscious self, they are carriers of natural magick, play and unconditional love. Deer totem binds two worlds with a thread of love, sensitivity and gentleness.

I am in awe of having such a beautiful creature in your midst. They seem like magical creatures to me especially as we don’t have them in Australia.
Hadn’t thought of that ! Deer are lovely, this one still in its first year – saw the spots !
When I live in Pa I saw deer often in the evening. I miss their soft energy.
I could feel the soft energy, was so pleased fawn ‘allowed’ me to see / feel its presence.
